A large-scale rescuing excavation was carried out there in 1997-1998. The work resulted in the revelation of house-foundations, ash-pits, tombs, drainage ditches, pot-tery-making kilns, fireplaces and paddy fields, and the discovery of pottery, stone, bone, bronze, iron and porcelain objects in a great number. As the Eastern Zhou and Han tombs and the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing paddy fields have been published, the present paper deals with the other remains from the Shang-Zhou to the Six Dynasties periods and studies their periodization.展开更多
