Some basic dynamical properties are studied either analytically or nu-merically,such as Poincaré map,Lyapunov exponents and Lyapunov dimension. Based on this flow,a new almost-Hamilton chaotic system with very high Lyapunov dimensions is constructed and investigated. Two new nonlinear autonomous systems can be changed into one another by adding or omitting some constant coefficients.展开更多

The effective-field equations of motion of the average magnetization are given for the simple cubic lattice (Z ---- 6) and the honeycomb lattice (Z = 3). The Liapunov exponent A is calculated for discussing the stability of the magnetization and it is used to determine the phase boundary. The dynamic phase transition diagrams in ho/ZJ - F/ZJ plane and in ho/ZJ - T/ZJ plane have been drawn, and there is no dynamical tricritical point on the dynamic phase transition boundary. The effect of the thermal fluctuations upon the dynamic phase boundary has been discussed.展开更多

In this paper, the authors introduce two methods to construct metric (n+1)-Lie algebras from metric n-Lie algebras for n≥2. For a given m-dimensional metric n-Lie algebra(g, [, ···, ], B_g), via one and two dimensional extensions £=g+IFc and g0= g+IFx^(-1)+IFx^0 of the vector space g and a certain linear function f on g, we construct(m+1)-and (m+2)-dimensional (n+1)-Lie algebras(£, [, ···, ]cf) and(g0, [, ···, ]1), respectively.Furthermore, if the center Z(g) is non-isotropic, then we obtain metric(n + 1)-Lie algebras(L, [, ···, ]cf, B) and(g0, [, ···, ]1, B) which satisfy B|g×g = Bg. Following this approach the extensions of all(n + 2)-dimensional metric n-Lie algebras are discussed.展开更多

Lyapunov functionals are constructed to establish the global asymptotic stability of the uninfected and infected steady states. It is shown that if the basic reproduction number R0 is less than unity, then the uninfected steady state is globally asymptotically stable. If the basic reproduction number R0 is larger than unity, then the infected steady state is globally asymptotically stable.展开更多

The impulsive control scheme of continuous culture is intro- duced. By employing impulsive control, Lyapunov's method and comparison technique, sufficient conditions are established for the asymptotical stability and synchronization of the dynamical system of continuous fermentation. The upper bound of the impulse interval is also estimated. An example will illustrate the effectiveness of the results in Sec. 4.展开更多
