提出了一种基于图像条分割的快速图像重定算法.根据像素梯度信息建立图像的能量图,描述图像不同区域及目标的重要性.由各图像列的累积能量,通过类间最大类内最小原理,将一幅图像分割成若干具有一定宽度和能量级的图像条.根据图像的总体... 提出了一种基于图像条分割的快速图像重定算法.根据像素梯度信息建立图像的能量图,描述图像不同区域及目标的重要性.由各图像列的累积能量,通过类间最大类内最小原理,将一幅图像分割成若干具有一定宽度和能量级的图像条.根据图像的总体缩放尺寸及不同图像条的平均能量,计算各图像条的缩减量.结合标准Scaling和Cropping方法,对图像条进行缩放操作,若边缘图像条缩减量超过一定阈值,裁剪掉该部分内容.实验结果表明,该算法能够同时保护图像的局部结构和全局视觉效果,快速生成保真的高质量重定图像. 展开更多

To reduce the difficulty of implementation and shorten the runtime of the traditional Kim-Fisher model, an entirely discrete Kim-Fisher-like model on lattices is proposed. The discrete model is directly built on the lattices, and the greedy algorithm is used in the implementation to continually decrease the energy function. First, regarding the gray values in images as discrete-valued random variables makes it possible to make a much simpler estimation of conditional entropy. Secondly, a uniform method within the level set framework for two-phase and multiphase segmentations without extension is presented. Finally, a more accurate approximation to the curve length on lattices with multi-labels is proposed. The experimental results show that, compared with the continuous Kim-Fisher model, the proposed model can obtain comparative results, while the implementation is much simpler and the runtime is dramatically reduced. 展开更多

Video object segmentation is important for video surveillance, object tracking, video object recognition and video editing. An adaptive video segmentation algorithm based on hidden conditional random fields (HCRFs) is proposed, which models spatio-temporal constraints of video sequence. In order to improve the segmentation quality, the weights of spatio-temporal con- straints are adaptively updated by on-line learning for HCRFs. Shadows are the factors affecting segmentation quality. To separate foreground objects from the shadows they cast, linear transform for Gaussian distribution of the background is adopted to model the shadow. The experimental results demonstrated that the error ratio of our algorithm is reduced by 23% and 19% respectively, compared with the Gaussian mixture model (GMM) and spatio-temporal Markov random fields (MRFs). 展开更多

Including information of the current road surface conditions can significantly improve the effectiveness of an AEB (automated emergency braking) system to avoid accidents or reduce the injury severity in rear-end crashes. A method to estimate the friction potential based on on-board sensor information is shown in this work. This work expands the scope of existing investigations on whether the accuracy needed for the warning and intervention strategies of AEB can be reached with the proposed method. First, the bandwidth of surface conditions investigated is extended by including low friction surfaces comparable to ice. Second, situations of changing surface conditions and wheel-individual surface conditions were evaluated. Finally, estimation based on different sensor sets was conducted with regard to series application. The investigations are based on measurements performed on a proving ground. The main emphasis was placed on estimation during longitudinal driving conditions. The used sensors include advanced vehicle dynamics measurement equipment as well as standard on-board sensors of the vehicle. 展开更多

The concavity,the monotonicity and the global optimality condition are studied for the objective function,and it is proved that the feasible region of the model is bounded,closed and convex under some design conditions. Then,a solution method,called an optimal segment algorithm,is developed to find the global maximizer of the model. Under four different design conditions,solution methods are presented respectively. Some real case studies are employed to demonstrate that the model and the algorithm in this paper are promising. 展开更多
