依据我国地理区域和行政区域的划分,抽样选取31所聋校进行调查。通过半结构式访谈、问卷调查和非参与型实地观察,探究聋校英语教学现状。结果发现,我国省级城市(直辖市)聋校和多数设区市(省级市辖区)聋校已开设英语课程,每周2—4节课时... 依据我国地理区域和行政区域的划分,抽样选取31所聋校进行调查。通过半结构式访谈、问卷调查和非参与型实地观察,探究聋校英语教学现状。结果发现,我国省级城市(直辖市)聋校和多数设区市(省级市辖区)聋校已开设英语课程,每周2—4节课时不等,教学内容侧重于读、写、说;聋校英语师资以中青年教师为主,学历高,但专业化程度低,教研水平和科研能力有待提高;聋校英语教学理念和教学方法亟待更新,教学语言的运用能力待加强;英语教材以普校教材为主,呈多样化特征,给不同学段以及普校回流的聋生教学带来一定的困难;教学评价侧重于终结性评价,形成性评价体系尚未建立。 展开更多

IMC based robust PID controller tuning for disturbance rejection 被引量:5

It is well-known that the IMC-PID controller tuning gives fast and improved set point response but slow disturbance rejection. A modification has been proposed in IMC-PID tuning rule for the improved disturbance rejection. For the modified IMC-PID tuning rule, a method has been developed to obtain the IMC-PID setting in closed-loop mode without acquiring detailed information of the process. The proposed method is based on the closed-loop step set point experiment using a proportional only controller with gain K_(c0). It is the direct approach to find the PID controller setting similar to classical Ziegler-Nichols closed-loop method. Based on simulations of a wide range of first-order with delay processes, a simple correlation has been derived to obtain the modified IMC-PID controller settings from closed-loop experiment. In this method, controller gain is a function of the overshoot obtained in the closed loop set point experiment. The integral and derivative time is mainly a function of the time to reach the first peak(overshoot). Simulation has been conducted for the broad class of processes and the controllers were tuned to have the same degree of robustness by measuring the maximum sensitivity, Ms, in order to obtain a reasonable comparison. The PID controller settings obtained in the proposed tuning method show better performance and robustness with other two-step tuning methods for the broad class of processes. It has also been applied to temperature control loop in distillation column model. The result has been compared to the open loop tuning method where it gives robust and fast response. 展开更多

Curriculum is one of important factors which contribute to improving learner's ability and potency in education. Curriculum used in school has a purpose to make learners be active and creative persons. It is an education plan that emphasizes the competency of learners. Indonesia, through its Ministry of Education, implements 2013 Curriculum officially that reflects the competency of learners. This curriculum is actually similar with competence-based curriculum which concentrates on learners. In senior high school level, English becomes one of the subjects of final national examination and also this is the last level for learners before they continue their study to university. International oriented school is a school that applies English as a second language and also a school cooperates with or uses international standard curriculum. Reflecting learning and teaching English in senior high school especially in the international oriented school is very important and needs special attention. This research investigates the implementation of curriculum in the international oriented senior high school in Yogyakarta. From the research, it is known that the school officially does not implement 2013 Curriculum. However, ACT (Assessment Certificate Test) curriculum and the values of the school automatically reflect the 2013 Curriculum because the school empowering implementation of competency-based curriculum in learning process that focuses on learner-centered learning, facilitating assessments of process of learning and fostering learners' autonomy through the curriculum is reflected in the school essentially in the programs and activities. 展开更多

Using the single particle states and the residual interaction derived from the relativistic point-coupling model with the PC-F1 parameter set,the second-order core polarization corrections to nuclear magnetic moments of LS closed shell nuclei ±1 nucleon with A = 15,17,39 and 41 are studied and compared with previous non-relativistic results.It is found that the second-order corrections are significant.With these corrections,the isovector magnetic moments of the concerned nuclei are well reproduced,especially those for A = 17 and A = 41. 展开更多

English Language Curricula: A Comparison of University English Departments in a Chinese Province

Many higher education institutions around the world have established quality control systems to maintain standards. This study reports on the issue of comparing English language curricula by means of an institutional review in a northeast province in China in 2012. The study was essentially a qualitative inquiry with data collected online through documents submitted by the institutions and through semi-structured follow-up interviews. Thirty-seven participants from 12 institutions participated in the study. Research findings indicated that curriculum orientations varied across institutions and were reflected in their curriculum designs. Such a modus operandi, it is anticipated, may shed useful light on the understanding of curriculum reform currently being conducted in China in light of the rising demand for, and the needs of, internationalized and localized curricula, as well as providing an understanding of curricula at various institutions. 展开更多
