The presentation layer plays the key role, converging the external information from the collaboration layer to the inside of information system (IS), and diffusing the internal information from the service layer to public users. This framework can also illustrate how users contribute to producing new services, and how web services are integrated to collaborate with public users.展开更多
Two isomeric metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) with 2-dimensional(2D) and 3-dimensional(3D) topologies both comprised of Cu(Ⅱ) and OTf(OTf = trifluoromethanesulfonate) ions were synthesized and characterized.The CO_2,CH...Two isomeric metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) with 2-dimensional(2D) and 3-dimensional(3D) topologies both comprised of Cu(Ⅱ) and OTf(OTf = trifluoromethanesulfonate) ions were synthesized and characterized.The CO_2,CH_4 and N_2 adsorption properties of the two isomeric MOFs were investigated from 263 K to 298 K at0.1 MPa.The results showed that the 2D MOF exhibited a higher selectivity for CO_2 from CO_2/CH_4 and CH_4from CH_4/N_2 compared to the 3D MOF,even though it possessed a lower surface area and pore volume.The higher adsorption heats of gases on the 2D MOF inferred the strong adsorption potential energy in the layered MOFs.Dynamic separation experiments using CO_2/CH_4 and CH_4/N_2 mixtures on the two MOFs proved that the2 D MOF had a longer elution time than the 3D MOF as well as better separation abilities.展开更多

Flexible regulation of the pores and easy introduction of functional a...As an emerging class of crystalline porous materials, covalent organic frameworks(COFs) have been widely used as catalysts or catalyst supports. Flexible regulation of the pores and easy introduction of functional active sites onto the skeleton of COFs make them promising platforms for many catalysis applications. However, only a single function is generally observed in these COFs. Herein, we synthesized a negatively charged ionic COF(I-COF) and successfully incorporated functionalized counter ions, that is, metallic Mn2+ and a coordination complex of manganese(Ⅱ) bipyridine complexes([Mn(bpy)2]2+), via a simple ion exchange process. The resulting I-COFs can act as effective heterogeneous catalysts for epoxidation reactions. We envisage that with this type of ionic architecture, a variety of other functional cations could be exchanged into the frameworks, thus making the COF a versatile platform for different applications.展开更多

These considerations are scientifically well studied and led to the development of a comp...Changes in hydrometeorological characteristics and risks have been observed and are projected to increase under climate change. These considerations are scientifically well studied and led to the development of a complex policy framework for adaptation and mitigation for hydrometeorological risks. Awareness for policy actions is growing worldwide but no legal framework is in place to tackle climate change impacts on water at a global scale. With the example of international frameworks and the legislation on EU-level, this article elaborates that hydrometeorological risks are not considered in the framework of one single policy. However, various policy instruments are directly or indirectly considering these risks at different operational levels. It is discussed that a tailor-made framework for hydrometeorological risks would improve coordination at international or national level. A major drawback for a single operational framework is that hydrometeorological risks are scientifically tackled in two large communities: the disaster risk reduction community and the climate change adaptation community, both of which are bound to different research and operational funding budgets. In future, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation will need been seen as a complementary set of actions that requires collaboration.展开更多

The outrigger and belt truss systems are efficient structures for drift control and base moment reduction in tall buildings where the core alone is not rigid enough to resist lateral loads. Perimeter columns are mobilized for increasing the effective width of the structure, and they developed tension in the windward columns and compression in the leeward columns. Optimum locations for the outriggers have been studied because of the influence on the top displacement and base moment in the core. It was analyzed the optimal position for two to seven outriggers and belt trusses, aiming to achieve minimum bending moment and minimum drift.展开更多

An iterative displacement-based procedure, based on capacity spectrum, to des...The research presented in this paper deals with the seismic protection of existing frame structures by means of passive energy dissipation. An iterative displacement-based procedure, based on capacity spectrum, to design dissipative bracings for seismic retrofitting of the frame structures is described, and some applications are discussed. The procedure can be used with any typology of dissipative device and for different performance targets. In this work, the procedure has been applied, with both traditional pushover (load profile proportional to first mode) and multimodal pushover, to an existing RC (reinforced concrete) frame building. In the application, the buckling restrained braces have been used in order to prevent damages to both the structure and non structural elements. The use of multimodal pushover proves to be more effective than pushover based on single mode in case of medium rise RC frame building (higher than 30 m) but, once this building is retrofitted, and therefore regularized, with a bracing system, the difference between using monomodal or multimodal pushover becomes insignificant.展开更多

Then, a new lander with four-legged truss structure is proposed. In the premise of ensuring that the main and assistant structures of landing legs are not changed, six possible lander body structures of the new lander are put forward. Taking the section size of each component of lander as design variables, and taking the total mass of the structure as the objective function, the six structures are analyzed by using the software Altair. OptiStruct and the results show that the mass of the basic structure is the lightest, and it is selected as the final design scheme of lander due to its simple structure and convenient manufacture. The optimization on the selected lander structure is conducted, and the detailed results are presented.展开更多
