The situation of intercepted weeds from wooI in Jiangsu port during 2004 to 2012 was introduced in this paper, and the corresponding countermeasures were then proposed. The resuIts showed that a total of 38 famiIies, 138 genera, 268 species and 13 868 species-times of weeds were intercepted, incIuding 3 famiIies, 11 genera, 20 species and 2 094 species-times of quarantine weeds. The weeds were intercepted from the wooI introduced from 19 countries and regions, among which, Australia had the highest species-times, accounting for 71.0% of the total. Bases on the analysis of interception situation of weeds, some countermeasures were pro-posed from the perspectives of risk assessment, quarantine supervision, quarantine treatment and epidemic surveiI ance, providing some reference for estabIishing a perfect system for preventing the invasion of exotic weeds. 展开更多

This paper reports the confirmed diagnosis by nested RT-PCR of PPR cases in Tibet, China in 2007, and results of phylogenetic analysis. Results showed that the 11 tested samples were PPRV positive by nested RT-PCR, of which 2 samples were genetically close to the X7443 strain (Nigeria 75/1) of lineage I, and 3 samples close to the strain AY560591 (Sungri96) of linage IV with 96.6%、97.3%、97.6% and 98% nucleotide sequence homogeneity respectively, based on partial sequencing of the F gene from 5 samples and complete sequencing of the N/M/F/H genes from one sample. This study suggested that there are at least 2 origins of PPRV in China. 展开更多

Opisina arenosella Walker is a dangerous pest which invaded our country in recent days.Based on the international standards for pest measurements(ISPM),pest risk analysis (PRA) model has been established in this paper.The risk level of Opisina arenosella in Fujian Province was comprehensively evaluated by the following five indexes:the distribution,the potential degree of damage,the economic value of the infected host plants,the possibility of transmission and spreading and the difficulty of risk management.The risk values of the five indexes were calculated as 3,2.0,3,1.78 and 2,respectively.The overall risk value of the pest was 2.3,which has reached the level of high-risk pests in Fujian.The pest has easily settled down in the three provinces of China,such as Hainan,Guangdong and Guangxi,and will pose a great threat on palm trees in Fujian.It is suggested that Opisina arenosella be included in the forestry quarantine harmful pest list of Fujian province and the quarantine management,monitoring and control of the work strengthened,in order to prevent the spread and proliferation of harm. 展开更多

Objective: The aim of our study was to investigate the expression of Survivin in lung adenocarcinoma of Xuanwei and Kunming patients. Methods: Twenty-five specimens of Xuanwei patients and 28 specimens of Kunming patients were observed and analyzed. The Survivin expression was detected by immunohistochemistry. The results were quantitatively analyzed by image analysis system. Results: There were significant differences in Survivin expression (P < 0.01) between Xuanwei patients and Kunming patients. Conclusion: Survivin expression in lung adenocarcinoma of Xuanwei patients was significantly higher than that of Kunming patients. The pathogenesis of lung adenocarcinoma might be different between Xuanwei patients and Kunming patients. High Survivin expression might be one of the reasons to explain high incidence of lung cancer in Xuanwei. 展开更多

A sensitive electrochemical immunoassay system for the detection of a protein tumor biomarker through a dual amplified strategy was reported. Firstly, this protocol involves in the electropolymerization of o-aminobenzoic acid (o-ABA) on a glass carbon electrode (GCE). Subsequently, capture anti-CEA (Abl) is covalently linked to poly(o-ABA) (PAB) film, via N-(3-dimethylamminopropyl)-N'-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC), and N-hydroxysulfosuccinimid sodium salt (NHS) activation of the carboxyl groups and surface blocking with ethanolamine. Later, the target, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), is sandwiched between an electrode surface confined Ab1 and the alkaline phosphatase-labeled signal anti-CEA antibodies conjugated with gold nanoparticles (Ab2-ALP-AuNP bioconjugates). The dual biocatalytic signal amplification for CEA monitoring is achieved by coupling the numerous enzymes loaded on the AuNPs with redox-recycling of the enzymatic products in the presence of the secondary enzyme and the corresponding substrate. The novel dramatic signal amplification strategy, exhibits a good linearity at the studied concentration range from 0.005 to 50 ng mL-1 towards CEA with a detection limit of 2 pg mL-1 (S/N=3). There is a 5-100-fold improvement in detection limit compared to other similar studies. The developed dual signal amplified strategy shows good selectivity, regeneration, stability and acceptable reproducibility. Therefore, the signal amplification approach holds great potential applications in detection of ultra-trace protein biomarkers. 展开更多
