It is used to maintain the pressure of primary coolant within allowed range because the sharp change of coolant pressure affects the security of reactor, therefor, the study of pressurizer’s pressure control methods is very important. In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy controller is presented for pressure control of a presurizer in a nuclear power plant. The controller can on-line tune fuzzy control rules and parameters by self-learning in the actual control process, which possesses the way of thinking like human to make a decision. The simulation results for a pressurized water reactor plant show that the adaptive fuzzy controller has optimum and intelligent characteristics, which prove the controller is effective.展开更多

Shock resistance was analyzed by the time-domain simulation method. After exhaustive simulations,the effect of air pressure induced by different working conditions on the shock response of a supercharged boiler was reviewed,leading to conclusions about the variability of structural response with different loading parameters. In order to simulate the real impulsive environments of supercharged boilers,the integration of equipment and ship structure was then primarily used to analyze shock response. These distinctly different equipment shock test methods,run under equivalent work conditions,were compared and the causes of discrepancy were analyzed. The main purpose of this paper is to present references for the anti-shock design of marine supercharged boilers.展开更多

As copper-plated roll mold is getting larger, pitch error is getting severer. The pitch error drops the quality of micro prism film. The main cause of the pitch error was investigated during machining large roll mold whose machined length was 1 200 mm. The temperature of machining system was elevated during machining roll mold, and this elevation induced thermal expansion of the system. The temperature variation around the roll mold also made thermal expansion of the roll mold. The amount of thermal expansion had strong relationship to the amount of pitch error. Therefore, the roll mold was machined after warming-up of machining system and precise temperature controller around copper-plated roll mold was installed, which minimized the temperature variation. Finally, precise micro prism patterns without pitch error were machined on the large roll mold.展开更多

In the case of Weibull distribution,a life reliability model of bladder energy storage is established by Bayesian method using the optimal confidence intervals method,a model of one-sided lower confidence intervals of the reliability and one-sided lower confidence intervals model of the reliability life are established. Results of experiments show that the evaluation method of no failure data under Weibull distribution is a good way to evaluate the reliability of the accumulator,which is convenient for engineering application,and the reliability of the accumulator has theoretical and practical significance.展开更多

The ratio of the two form factors for the proton , which is an image of its charge and magnetization distributi...Based on relativistic constituent quark (RCQ) model, the electric and magnetic form factors are analyzed. The ratio of the two form factors for the proton , which is an image of its charge and magnetization distributions, is calculated in the light-front formulism of RCQ model. Recently, this ratio was measured at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab) using the polarization technique. The new data presented span the range and are well described by a linear Q<SUP>2</SUP> fit. Also, the ratio reaches a constant value while Q<SUP>2</SUP> becomes larger than 2 (GeV)<SUP>2</SUP>. Our calculation results are presented and appear to be consistent with the experimental ones.展开更多

The chemical reaction and reaction heat were a...The computational fluid dynamics(CFD) code, FLUENT, was used to simulate the liquid-phase FCC diesel hydrotreating tubular reactor with a ceramic membrane tube dispenser. The chemical reaction and reaction heat were added to the model by user-defined function(UDF), showing the distribution of temperature and content of sulfides, nitrides, bicyclic aromatics and monocyclic aromatics in different parts of the reaction bed. When the pressure was 6.5 MPa, the amount of mixing hydrogen was 0.84%(m), the space velocity was 2 h-1 and the inlet temperature was 633 K, the temperature reached a maximum at a height of 0.15 m, and the range of radial temperature reached its maximum(2.5 K) at a height of 0.15 m. It indicated that the proper ratio of height to diameter of catalyst bed in the tubular reactor was 5-6. The increase of inlet temperature, the mixing hydrogen and the decrease of space velocity led to the decrease in the content of bicyclic aromatics, sulfides and nitrides, and the increase in monocyclic aromatics content, while the high temperature increased. The results were in good agreement with experimental data, indicating to the high accuracy of the model.展开更多

ART can help the astronauts ...In order to mitigate the effects of space adaptation syndrome(SAS) and improve the training efficiency of the astronauts, a novel astronaut rehabilitative training robot(ART) was proposed. ART can help the astronauts to carry out the bench press training in the microgravity environment. Firstly, a dynamic model of cable driven unit(CDU) was established whose accuracy was verified through the model identification. Secondly, to improve the accuracy and the speed of the active loading, an active loading hybrid force controller was proposed on the basis of the dynamic model of the CDU. Finally, the actual effect of the hybrid force controller was tested by simulations and experiments. The results suggest that the hybrid force controller can significantly improve the precision and the dynamic performance of the active loading with the maximum phase lag of the active loading being 9° and the maximum amplitude error being 2% at the frequency range of 10 Hz. The controller can meet the design requirements.展开更多

In this paper, aiming at solving the problems a...In micro electrical discharge machining (micro EDM), it is difficult for servo controlling the narrow discharge gap with the characters of non-linear and quick change. In this paper, aiming at solving the problems above, a self-adaptive fuzzy controller with formulary rule (SAFCFR) is presented based on the dual feedbacks composed by gap electric signal and discharge-ratio statistics. To ensure the properties of self-optimizing and fast stabilization, the formulary rule was designed with a tuning factor. In addition, the fast-convergence algorithms were introduced to adjust control target center and output scale factor. In this way, the normal discharge ratio can tend to the highest value during micro-EDM process. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithms are effective in improving the servo-control performance. According to the drilling-micro-EDM experiments, the machining efficiency is improved by 20% through applying SAFCFR. Moreover, SAFCFR is a prompt way to optimize parameters of discharge-gap servo control.展开更多

Each model was used to simulate a set oftransduction heating experiments and the results compared. Analysis of the TEC calculated results suggested modification of three parameters: the secondary resistance, the core tube eddy current resistance and the core tube magnetizing reactance. The improved TEC model was then used to design, build and test a 6 kW transduction heater. The measured results are compared with calculated results from the TEC and FEA models. The dynamic heating capac...A series of experiments on the dynamic performance of the HPWH (heat pump water heater) unit with EXV (electronic expansion valve) under different environmental conditions were conducted. The dynamic heating capacity and COP (coefficient of performance) of the HPWH unit under different EXV openings were measured. The effects of the EXV opening on the performance of the HPWH unit were analyzed. Meanwhile, the dynamic performance of the HPWH with EXV was simulated and the results were compared with the experimental one. The experimental results indicate that during heating process, the COP increases firstly and then decreases for a fixed EXV opening, which is in good agreement with the numerical result. For different EXV openings, the COP and heating capacity of the system using larger EXV opening are superior to those using the smaller one in the initial heating stage. While in the late stage, the performance of system using smaller EXV opening is better. It is found that the system performance is improved significantly by changing the EXV opening in the different heating period and the average COP of the HPWH system is increased by 7.6%.展开更多
Objective:In this study,we try to establish an initial electron beam model by combining Monte Carlo simulation method with particle dynamic calculation(TRSV)for the single 6 MV X-ray accelerating waveguide of BJ-6 med...Objective:In this study,we try to establish an initial electron beam model by combining Monte Carlo simulation method with particle dynamic calculation(TRSV)for the single 6 MV X-ray accelerating waveguide of BJ-6 medical linac.Methods and Materials:1.We adapted the treatment head configuration of BJ-6 medical linac made by Beijing Medical Equipment Institute(BMEI)as the radiation system for this study.2.Use particle dynamics calculation code called TRSV to drive out the initial electron beam parameters of the energy spectrum,the spatial intensity distribution,and the beam incidence angle.3.Analyze the 6 MV X-ray beam characteristics of PDDc,OARc in a water phantom by using Monte Carlo simulation(BEAMnrc,DOSXYZnrc)for a preset of the initial electron beam parameters which have been determined by TRSV,do the comparisons of the measured results of PDDm,OARm in a real water phantom,and then use the deviations of calculated and measured results to slightly modify the initial electron beam model back and forth until the deviations meet the error less than 2%.Results:The deviations between the Monte Carlo simulation results of percentage depth doses at PDDc and off-axis ratios OARc and the measured results of PDDm and OARm in a water phantom were within 2%.Conclusion:When doing the Monte Carlo simulation to determine the parameters of an initial electron beam for a particular medical linac like BJ-6,modifying some parameters based on the particle dynamics calculation code would give some more reasonable and more acceptable results.展开更多

Thermosyphon-type vertical loop heat pipe and capillary-pump-type horizontal loop heat pipe were calculated by examining the change of heating rate of two evaporators. Calculation results showed that the vapor and liquid flow rates in the loop heat pipe and the thermal conductance of the heat pipe changed significantly depending on the distribution ratio of the heating rate of the multiple evaporators. The thermal performance of the vertical loop heat pipe with two evaporators was also examined and experimental results of flow direction and thermal conductance of the heat pipe agreed with the analytical results. The lumped network model analysis is therefore considered accurate and preferable for the practical design of a loop heat pipe with multiple evaporators.展开更多
In this study,we present a physical model to explain the generation mechanism of nonlinear periodic waveswith a large amplitude electric field structures propagating obliquely and exactly parallel to the magnetic fiel...In this study,we present a physical model to explain the generation mechanism of nonlinear periodic waveswith a large amplitude electric field structures propagating obliquely and exactly parallel to the magnetic field.The'Sagdeev potential' from the MHD equations is derived and the nonlinear electric field waveforms are obtained when theMach number,direction of propagation,and the initial electric field satisfy certain plasma conditions.For the parallelpropagation,the amplitude of the electric field waves with ion-acoustic mode increases with the increase of initial electricfield and Mach number but its frequency decreases with the increase of Mach number.The amplitude and frequency ofthe electric field waves with ion-cyclotron mode decrease with the increase of Mach number and become less spiky,andits amplitude increases with the increase of initial electric field.For the oblique propagation,only periodic electric fieldwave with an ion-cyclotron mode obtained,its amplitude and frequency increase with the increase of Mach number andbecome spiky.From our model the electric field structures show periodic,spiky,and saw-tooth behaviours correspondingto different plasma conditions.展开更多

Throughout most of the buncher, the electrons are well forward of the crest and have velocities considerably less than light velocity, thus they arc in a region of radial dcfocusing and a considerable fraction of the beam will be lost unless defocusing action is counteracted by some other applied forces. The simplest way to do this is to sct up a longitudinal magnetic field which intcmcts with the radial motion of the electrons and causes them to follow helical orbits through the space occupied by the field. In this paper, five solenoids were designed to provide necessary magnetic field inside the bunchcr. Magnetic field was analytically calculated and compared with simulation results of Computer Simulation Technology (CST). Because of resistance in wires, some amount of energy appears in form of heat, so heat power was calculated analytically and cooling system was designed for these solenoids by Analysis System (ANSYS).展开更多

Theoretical and experimental analyses were presented. Displacement resolution was demonstrated by spectrum-domain experiments to obtain the dynamic range of the F-P sensor, and a piezoelectric crystal unit (PZT) was used as the driver. The output signal was modulated by a piezoelectric ceramic ring and demodulated by a phase-locked oscillator. The experimental results show that the displacement resolution of the F-P sensor is less than 5 nm and the dynamic range is more than 100 μm. As acceleration is the second-order differential of displacement, an accelerometer model was proposed using the finite element method (FEM) nd ANSYS software.展开更多

文摘A series of experiments on the dynamic performance of the HPWH (heat pump water heater) unit with EXV (electronic expansion valve) under different environmental conditions were conducted. The dynamic heating capacity and COP (coefficient of performance) of the HPWH unit under different EXV openings were measured. The effects of the EXV opening on the performance of the HPWH unit were analyzed. Meanwhile, the dynamic performance of the HPWH with EXV was simulated and the results were compared with the experimental one. The experimental results indicate that during heating process, the COP increases firstly and then decreases for a fixed EXV opening, which is in good agreement with the numerical result. For different EXV openings, the COP and heating capacity of the system using larger EXV opening are superior to those using the smaller one in the initial heating stage. While in the late stage, the performance of system using smaller EXV opening is better. It is found that the system performance is improved significantly by changing the EXV opening in the different heating period and the average COP of the HPWH system is increased by 7.6%.
文摘Objective:In this study,we try to establish an initial electron beam model by combining Monte Carlo simulation method with particle dynamic calculation(TRSV)for the single 6 MV X-ray accelerating waveguide of BJ-6 medical linac.Methods and Materials:1.We adapted the treatment head configuration of BJ-6 medical linac made by Beijing Medical Equipment Institute(BMEI)as the radiation system for this study.2.Use particle dynamics calculation code called TRSV to drive out the initial electron beam parameters of the energy spectrum,the spatial intensity distribution,and the beam incidence angle.3.Analyze the 6 MV X-ray beam characteristics of PDDc,OARc in a water phantom by using Monte Carlo simulation(BEAMnrc,DOSXYZnrc)for a preset of the initial electron beam parameters which have been determined by TRSV,do the comparisons of the measured results of PDDm,OARm in a real water phantom,and then use the deviations of calculated and measured results to slightly modify the initial electron beam model back and forth until the deviations meet the error less than 2%.Results:The deviations between the Monte Carlo simulation results of percentage depth doses at PDDc and off-axis ratios OARc and the measured results of PDDm and OARm in a water phantom were within 2%.Conclusion:When doing the Monte Carlo simulation to determine the parameters of an initial electron beam for a particular medical linac like BJ-6,modifying some parameters based on the particle dynamics calculation code would give some more reasonable and more acceptable results.
文摘Thermal performance of a loop heat pipe with two evaporators and two condensers was examined using a lumped network model analysis. Thermosyphon-type vertical loop heat pipe and capillary-pump-type horizontal loop heat pipe were calculated by examining the change of heating rate of two evaporators. Calculation results showed that the vapor and liquid flow rates in the loop heat pipe and the thermal conductance of the heat pipe changed significantly depending on the distribution ratio of the heating rate of the multiple evaporators. The thermal performance of the vertical loop heat pipe with two evaporators was also examined and experimental results of flow direction and thermal conductance of the heat pipe agreed with the analytical results. The lumped network model analysis is therefore considered accurate and preferable for the practical design of a loop heat pipe with multiple evaporators.

文摘In this study,we present a physical model to explain the generation mechanism of nonlinear periodic waveswith a large amplitude electric field structures propagating obliquely and exactly parallel to the magnetic field.The'Sagdeev potential' from the MHD equations is derived and the nonlinear electric field waveforms are obtained when theMach number,direction of propagation,and the initial electric field satisfy certain plasma conditions.For the parallelpropagation,the amplitude of the electric field waves with ion-acoustic mode increases with the increase of initial electricfield and Mach number but its frequency decreases with the increase of Mach number.The amplitude and frequency ofthe electric field waves with ion-cyclotron mode decrease with the increase of Mach number and become less spiky,andits amplitude increases with the increase of initial electric field.For the oblique propagation,only periodic electric fieldwave with an ion-cyclotron mode obtained,its amplitude and frequency increase with the increase of Mach number andbecome spiky.From our model the electric field structures show periodic,spiky,and saw-tooth behaviours correspondingto different plasma conditions.
文摘One of the most important components of a linac is bunchcr. Throughout most of the buncher, the electrons are well forward of the crest and have velocities considerably less than light velocity, thus they arc in a region of radial dcfocusing and a considerable fraction of the beam will be lost unless defocusing action is counteracted by some other applied forces. The simplest way to do this is to sct up a longitudinal magnetic field which intcmcts with the radial motion of the electrons and causes them to follow helical orbits through the space occupied by the field. In this paper, five solenoids were designed to provide necessary magnetic field inside the bunchcr. Magnetic field was analytically calculated and compared with simulation results of Computer Simulation Technology (CST). Because of resistance in wires, some amount of energy appears in form of heat, so heat power was calculated analytically and cooling system was designed for these solenoids by Analysis System (ANSYS).

文摘A displacement sensor based on the fiber Fabry-Perot (F-P) cavity was proposed in this paper. Theoretical and experimental analyses were presented. Displacement resolution was demonstrated by spectrum-domain experiments to obtain the dynamic range of the F-P sensor, and a piezoelectric crystal unit (PZT) was used as the driver. The output signal was modulated by a piezoelectric ceramic ring and demodulated by a phase-locked oscillator. The experimental results show that the displacement resolution of the F-P sensor is less than 5 nm and the dynamic range is more than 100 μm. As acceleration is the second-order differential of displacement, an accelerometer model was proposed using the finite element method (FEM) nd ANSYS software.
