Software Defined Networking(SDN) is a revolutionary networking paradigm towards the future network,experiencing rapid development nowadays.However,its main characteristic,the separation of control plane and data plane...Software Defined Networking(SDN) is a revolutionary networking paradigm towards the future network,experiencing rapid development nowadays.However,its main characteristic,the separation of control plane and data plane,also brings about new security challenges,i.e.,Denial-of-Service(DoS) attacks specific to Open Flow SDN networks to exhaust the control plane bandwidth and overload the buffer memory of Open Flow switch.To mitigate the DoS attacks in the Open Flow networks,we design and implement SGuard,a security application on top of the NOX controller that mainly contains two modules:Access control module and Classification module.We employ novel six-tuple as feature vector to classify traffic flows,meanwhile optimizing classification by feature ranking and selecting algorithms.All the modules will cooperate with each other to complete a series of tasks such as authorization,classification and so on.At the end of this paper,we experimentally use Mininet to evaluate SGuard in a software environment.The results show that SGuard works efficiently and accurately without adding more overhead to the SDN networks.展开更多

Firstly,SiC-B4C hybrid preforms were fabricated in cylindrical shape.The preferred mean particle size of the SiC and B4C powders were 60μm and 55μm respectively.In early experiments,single powder ratio of 85%SiC and 15%B4C was selected to produce the tough preforms.Subsequently,the preforms were placed into the cylindrical shape gypsum bonded block investment moulds and A6063 alloy was infiltrated into the preforms using vacuum assisted(-10 5 Pa)casting machine.Porosity fraction of preforms was determined using Archimedes’test.The fabricated cast specimens were characterized using hardness tests,image analysis and SEM observations and EDX analysis.The result indicates that,by the vacuum assisted block mould investment casting technique,the infiltration of the preforms by molten metal was successfully realized.展开更多

The regenerated energy can be stored for future use, increasing the efficiency of the system. This paper outlines the benefits of the MMC (modular multilevel converter) in front of the cascaded or series connection of converters to achieve high voltage from low voltage storage elements such as supercapacitors. The paper compares three different solutions and shows that the MMC can benefit from weight and volume reduction of the output inductance when shifted switching modulation strategy is used. Using this modulation strategy, not only the output frequency is increased, but also the magnitude of the inductor applied voltage is reduced, reducing inductor size and volume.展开更多
In order to continuously simulate multi-pass plate rolling process,a 3-D elastic hollow-roll model was proposed and an auto mesh-refining module with data passing was developed and integrated with FE software,Marc.The...In order to continuously simulate multi-pass plate rolling process,a 3-D elastic hollow-roll model was proposed and an auto mesh-refining module with data passing was developed and integrated with FE software,Marc.The hollow-roll model has equivalent stiffness of bending resistance and deformation to the real solid and much less meshes,so the computational time is greatly reduced.Based on these,the factors influencing plate profile,such as the roll-bending force,initial crown,thermal crown and heat transfer during rolling and inter-pass cooling can be taken into account in the simulation.The auto mesh-refining module with data passing can automatically refine and re-number elements and transfer the nodal and elemental results to the new meshes.Furthermore,the 3-D modeling routine is parametrically developed and can be run independently of Marc pre-processing program.A seven-pass industrial hot rolling process was continuously simulated to validate the accuracy of model.By comparison of the calculated results with the industrial measured data,the rolling force,temperature and plate profile are in good accordance with the measured ones.展开更多

Its key mechanical components are analyzed in detail. By communicating with the neighboring modules, each unit employs its automatic lock device composed of a pin and a hole on each connection plane which can connect or disconnect with neighboring modules. The M-Cubes system consisting of many identical modules cooperates to change their connection, and then the whole structure transforms into arbitrary structure. Furthermore, we describe its locomotion control based on the driving function and the adjacency matrix which is effective for solving the computationally difficult problem and optimizing the system motion path during the self-reconfiguration process. Finally, a simulation experiment using java 3D technology, proved the new method for controlling modular robot is robust and useful.展开更多
