Marine oil spill is one kind of serious disasters which severely damages the marine environment. Aiming at the improvement of the emergency response system and response ability for the oil spill, the relative technologies on oil spill response are developed. This paper briefly introduces the developments and achievements of the oil spill numerical models, including the oil spill spreading model, the oil spill transport model, the oil particle model as well as the oil spill weathering model, which provide the theoretic criterions for the future work on the oil spill predicting and response.展开更多

The structural natural frequency, vibration mode, stress and displacement response ...Based on the finite element (FE) program ANSYS, a three-dimensional model for the Runyang Suspension Bridge (RSB) is established. The structural natural frequency, vibration mode, stress and displacement response under various load cases are given. A new method of FE model updating is presented based on the physical meaning of sensitivity and the penalty function concept. In this method, the structural model is updated by modifying the parameters of design, and validated by structural natural vibration characteristics, stress response as well as displacement response. The design parameters used for updating are bounded according to measured static response and engineering judgment. The FE model of RSB is updated and validated by the measurements coming from the structural health monitoring system (SHMS), and the FE baseline model reflecting the current state of RSB is achieved. Both the dynamic and static results show that the method is effective in updating the FE model of long span suspension bridges. The results obtained provide an important research basis for damage alarming and health monitoring of the RSB.展开更多

To circumvent these, a novel updating method which integrates the meta-model and the genetic algorithm is proposed. Experimental design technique is used to determine the best sampling points for the estimation of polynomial coefficients given the order and the number of independent variables. Finite element analyses are performed to generate the sampling data. Regression analysis is then used to estimate the response surface model to approximate the functional relationship between response features and design parameters on the entire design space. In the fitness evaluation of the genetic algorithm, the response surface model is used to substitute the finite element model to output features with given design parameters for the computation of fitness for the individual. Finally, the global optima that corresponds to the updated design parameter is acquired after several generations of evolution. In the application example, finite element analysis and modal testing are performed on a real chassis model. The finite element model is updated using the proposed method. After updating, root-mean-square error of modal frequencies is smaller than 2%. Furthermore, prediction ability of the updated model is validated using the testing results of the modified structure. The root-mean-square error of the prediction errors is smaller than 2%.展开更多
In order to facilitate engineering design and coastal flooding protection, the potential storm surge induced by a typhoon is studied.Using an unstructured mesh, a coupled model which combines the advanced circulation ...In order to facilitate engineering design and coastal flooding protection, the potential storm surge induced by a typhoon is studied.Using an unstructured mesh, a coupled model which combines the advanced circulation ( ADCIRC ) hydrodynamic model and simulating waves nearshore ( SWAN ) model is applied to analyze the storm surge and waves on the coast of Jiangsu Province.The verifications of wind velocity, tidal levels and wave height show that this coupling model performs well to reflect the characteristics of the water levels and waves in the studied region.Results show that the effect of radiation stress on storm surge is significant, especially in shallow areas such as the coast of Jiangsu Province and the Yangtze estuary.By running the coupled model, the simulated potential flooding results can be employed in coastal engineering applications in the Jiangsu coastal area, such as storm surge warnings and extreme water level predictions.展开更多

The three models mentioned above are calculated and analyzed according to the long-term deformation observation data in Chencun Dam. The analytical results show that the average prediction accuracies of the statistical model and the BP neural network model are ~ 0.477 and +- 0.390 mm, respectively, while the prediction accuracy of the merging model is ~0. 318 mm, which is improved by 33% and 18% compared to the other two models, respectively. And the merging model has a better generalization ability and broad applicability.展开更多

The model was then calibrated and verified. Four scenarios (S1, S21, S22 andS23) were simulated using the model. Results show that the water quality of the Miyun Reservoirunder conditions of low surface water level is apparently affected by different amounts of inflowand different total phosphorus (TP) loadings. The chlorophyll-a concentration might exceed 10 μg/Lin many areas of the Miyun Reservoir (This limitative value is seen as a critical value ofeutrophication) when large loadings of TP enter due to the amount of inflow increasing. Results ofscenario S23 indicate that control of TP loadings can decrease chlorophyll-a concentrationeffectively, and the water quality of the Miyun Reservoir will improve or retain its status quo.展开更多

The derivation of the system-level model is elaborated and simulation results are obtained from the implementation of those strategies on the fabricated silicon force-balance MEMS accelerometer. The mathematical model presented is implemented in VHDL- AMS and SIMULINK TM,respectively. The simulation results from the two approaches are compared and show a slight difference. Using VHDL-AMS is flexible,reusable,and more accurate. But there is not a mature solver developed for the language and this approach takes more time, while the simulation model can be easily built and quickly evaluated using SIMULINK.展开更多

Various powders ...To develop near-infrared (NIR) reflectance spectroscopic methods for the quantitative analysis of cefoperazone sodium/ sulbactam sodium from different manufacturers for injection powder medicaments. Various powders of cefoperazone sodium/ sulbactam sodium were directly analyzed by non-destructive NIR reflectance spectroscopy using the spectrometer EQUINOX55. Two quantitative methods via integrating sphere (IS) and fiberoptic probe (FOP) models were explored from 6 batches of commercial samples and 42 batches of laboratory samples at a content ranging from 30% to 70% for cefoperazone and 60% to 20% for sulbactam. The root mean square errors of cross validation (RMSECV) and the root mean square errors of prediction (RMSEP) of IS were 1.79% and 2.85%, respectively, for cefoperazone sodium, and were 1.86% and 3.08%, respectively, for sulbactam sodium; and those of FOP were 2.93% and 2.92%, respectively, for cefoperazone sodium, and were 2.23% and 3.01%, respectively, for sulbactam sodium. Based on the ICH guidelines and Ref. 12, the quantitative models were then evaluated in terms of specificity, linearity, accuracy, precision, robustness and model transferability. The non-destructive quantitative NIR methods used in this study are applicable for rapid analysis of injectable powdered drugs from different manufacturers.展开更多

An underwater acoustic modeI-MMPE was used to simulate the acoustic propagation under the influence of different types, different intensities and positions of eddies, and different frequencies and depths of sources. It is found that warm-core eddy can make the convergence zone "move back" and the width of it increases, while cold-core eddy can make the convergence zone "move forward" and the width of it decreases. The bigger the intensity of eddy, the more notable the "forward "or "back "effect. Sound source located depths and source frequencies can change the acoustic propagation characteristics in the eddy area.展开更多

Now HY-2 is in the test phase so t...The HY-2 satellite carrying a satellite-borne GPS receiver is the first Chinese radar altimeter satellite, whose radial orbit determination precision must reach the centimeter level. Now HY-2 is in the test phase so that the observations are not openly released. In order to study the precise orbit determination precision and procedure for HY-2 based on the satellite- borne GPS technique, the satellite-borne GPS data are simulated in this paper. The HY-2 satellite-borne GPS antenna can receive at least seven GPS satellites each epoch, which can validate the GPS receiver and antenna design. What's more, the precise orbit determination processing flow is given and precise orbit determination experiments are conducted using the HY-2-borne GPS data with both the reduced-dynamic method and the kinematic geometry method. With the 1 and 3 mm phase data random errors, the radial orbit determination precision can achieve the centimeter level using these two methods and the kinematic orbit accuracy is slightly lower than that of the reduced-dynamic orbit. The earth gravity field model is an important factor which seriously affects the precise orbit determination of altimeter satellites. The reduced-dynamic orbit determination experiments are made with different earth gravity field models, such as EIGEN2, EGM96, TEG4, and GEMT3. Using a large number of high precision satellite-bome GPS data, the HY-2 precise orbit determination can reach the centimeter level with commonly used earth gravity field models up to above 50 degrees and orders.展开更多

The approach is based on the proposed abstract service model, ASM-TL, which addresses some important constraints for identifying capabilities of web services, such as service inner constraints and invocation constraints, and also has a virtual process model for describing service behavioral properties. By treating service requests as temporal logic conditions and web services as temporal models, ASMA does service matchmaking through model checking. Therefore, ASMA makes service matchmaking more accurate and more adaptive to the variety of service requests and the diversity of web services. The approach has been applied to the problem solving environment (PSE) for bioinformatics research. Applications show that the approach is suitable for dynamic environments.展开更多

The drift region resistance was modeled according to the physical characteristics and the specific structure of the trench-gate MOSFET device. For the accurate simulation of dynamic characteristics, three important capacitances, gate-to-drain capacitance Cgd, gate-to-source capacitance Cgsand drain-to-source capacitance Cds, were modeled, respectively, in the proposed model. Furthermore,the self-heating effect, temperature effect and breakdown characteristic were taken into account; the self-heating model and breakdown model were built in the proposed model; and the temperature parameters of the model were revised. The proposed model is verified by experimental results, and the errors between measured data and simulation results of the novel model are less than 5%. Therefore, the model can give an accurate description for both the static and dynamic characteristics of the trench-gate MOSFET device.展开更多

For class I AVO reservoirs and gas-saturation, the seismic response is a hi...According to the Chapman multi-scale rock physical model, the seismic response characteristics vary for different fluid-saturated reservoirs. For class I AVO reservoirs and gas-saturation, the seismic response is a high-frequency bright spot as the amplitude energy shifts. However, it is a low-frequency shadow for the Class III AVO reservoirs saturated with hydrocarbons. In this paper, we verified the high-frequency bright spot results of Chapman for the Class I AVO response using the frequency-dependent analysis of a physical model dataset. The physical model is designed as inter-bedded thin sand and shale based on real field geology parameters. We observed two datasets using fixed offset and 2D geometry with different fluid- saturated conditions. Spectral and time-frequency analyses methods are applied to the seismic datasets to describe the response characteristics for gas-, water-, and oil-saturation. The results of physical model dataset processing and analysis indicate that reflection wave tuning and fluid-related dispersion are the main seismic response characteristic mechanisms. Additionally, the gas saturation model can be distinguished from water and oil saturation for Class I AVO utilizing the frequency-dependent abnormal characteristic. The frequency-dependent characteristic analysis of the physical model dataset verified the different spectral response characteristics corresponding to the different fluid-saturated models. Therefore, by careful analysis of real field seismic data, we can obtain the abnormal spectral characteristics induced by the fluid variation and implement fluid detection using seismic data directly.展开更多

The root mean square errors of cross validation (RMSECV) and the root mean square errors of prediction (RMSEP) of IS were 1.79% and 2.85%, respectively, for cefoperazone sodium, and were 1.86% and 3.08%, respectively, for sulbactam sodium; and those of FOP were 2.93% and 2.92%, respectively, for cefoperazone sodium, and were 2.23% and 3.01%, respectively, for sulbactam sodium. Based on the ICH guidelines and Ref. 12, the quantitative models were then evaluated in terms of specificity, linearity, accuracy, precision, robustness and model transferability. The non-destructive quantitative NIR methods used in this study are applicable for rapid analysis of injectable powdered drugs from different manufacturers.

文摘Aiming at the influence of ocean mesoscale eddy on underwater acoustic propagation, a theoretical computation model of ocean mesoscale eddy was established based on the in-situ hydrographic data in the sea area of ocean mesoscale eddy. An underwater acoustic modeI-MMPE was used to simulate the acoustic propagation under the influence of different types, different intensities and positions of eddies, and different frequencies and depths of sources. It is found that warm-core eddy can make the convergence zone "move back" and the width of it increases, while cold-core eddy can make the convergence zone "move forward" and the width of it decreases. The bigger the intensity of eddy, the more notable the "forward "or "back "effect. Sound source located depths and source frequencies can change the acoustic propagation characteristics in the eddy area.
文摘As develops in deep sub micron designs,the interconnect crosstalk becomes much more serious.Espe cially, the coupling inductance can not be ignored in gigahertz designs.So shield insertion is an efficient technique to reduce the inductive noise.In this paper,the characteristics of on chip mutual inductance (as well as self) for coplanar,micro stripline and stripline structures are introduced first.Then base on the coplanar interconnect structures,the effective coupling K eff model and the RLC explicit noise model are proposed respectively.The results of experiments show that these two models both have high fidelity.

文摘The HY-2 satellite carrying a satellite-borne GPS receiver is the first Chinese radar altimeter satellite, whose radial orbit determination precision must reach the centimeter level. Now HY-2 is in the test phase so that the observations are not openly released. In order to study the precise orbit determination precision and procedure for HY-2 based on the satellite- borne GPS technique, the satellite-borne GPS data are simulated in this paper. The HY-2 satellite-borne GPS antenna can receive at least seven GPS satellites each epoch, which can validate the GPS receiver and antenna design. What's more, the precise orbit determination processing flow is given and precise orbit determination experiments are conducted using the HY-2-borne GPS data with both the reduced-dynamic method and the kinematic geometry method. With the 1 and 3 mm phase data random errors, the radial orbit determination precision can achieve the centimeter level using these two methods and the kinematic orbit accuracy is slightly lower than that of the reduced-dynamic orbit. The earth gravity field model is an important factor which seriously affects the precise orbit determination of altimeter satellites. The reduced-dynamic orbit determination experiments are made with different earth gravity field models, such as EIGEN2, EGM96, TEG4, and GEMT3. Using a large number of high precision satellite-bome GPS data, the HY-2 precise orbit determination can reach the centimeter level with commonly used earth gravity field models up to above 50 degrees and orders.

文摘To make service matchmaking more adaptive to various service requests and diverse web services, an adaptive approach-ASMA is proposed to service matchmaking based on temporal logic model-checking. The approach is based on the proposed abstract service model, ASM-TL, which addresses some important constraints for identifying capabilities of web services, such as service inner constraints and invocation constraints, and also has a virtual process model for describing service behavioral properties. By treating service requests as temporal logic conditions and web services as temporal models, ASMA does service matchmaking through model checking. Therefore, ASMA makes service matchmaking more accurate and more adaptive to the variety of service requests and the diversity of web services. The approach has been applied to the problem solving environment (PSE) for bioinformatics research. Applications show that the approach is suitable for dynamic environments.
文摘The double degrees-of-freedom(DOFs)parallel model is adopted to analyze static vertical human-induced vibration with the finite element analysis(FEA)method.In the first-order symmetric vibration mode,the periods of the spring-mass model gradually decrease with the increase in K1 and K2,but they are always greater than the period of the add-on mass model.Meanwhile,the periods of the spring-mass model decrease with the decrease in m1 and m2,but they are always greater than the period of the hollow bridge model.Since the human's two degrees-of-freedom vibrate in the same direction as that of the bridge mid-span,the existence of human's rigidity leads to the reduction in the rigidity of the spring-mass model.In the second-order symmetric vibration mode,the changes of rigidity K2 and mass m2 result in the disappearance or occurrence of some vibration modes.It can be concluded that compared with the spring-mass model,the results of the add-on mass model lean to lack of safety to the structure;besides,the DOF with a smaller ratio of mass to rigidity plays the chief role in the vibration of the structure.

文摘A novel simulation program with an integrated circuit emphasis(SPICE) model developed for trench-gate metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor(M OSFET)devices is proposed. The drift region resistance was modeled according to the physical characteristics and the specific structure of the trench-gate MOSFET device. For the accurate simulation of dynamic characteristics, three important capacitances, gate-to-drain capacitance Cgd, gate-to-source capacitance Cgsand drain-to-source capacitance Cds, were modeled, respectively, in the proposed model. Furthermore,the self-heating effect, temperature effect and breakdown characteristic were taken into account; the self-heating model and breakdown model were built in the proposed model; and the temperature parameters of the model were revised. The proposed model is verified by experimental results, and the errors between measured data and simulation results of the novel model are less than 5%. Therefore, the model can give an accurate description for both the static and dynamic characteristics of the trench-gate MOSFET device.
文摘The stand growth and yield dynamic models for Larch in Jilin Province were developed based on the forest growth theories with the forest continuous inventory data. The results indicated that the developed models had high precision, and they could be used for the updating data of inventory of planning and designing and optimal decision of forest management.
文摘Forest Potential Productivity (FPP) of 8 counties in Tianshan was cal culated, and the potential timber output of these counties was analyzed with Mia mi Model and Thornthwaite Memorial Model. Research results showed that annual av erage output of present stand in Tianshan Forest Region was 3.7 m3/(hm2. a), whi ch reached only 49% of average FPP.

文摘According to the Chapman multi-scale rock physical model, the seismic response characteristics vary for different fluid-saturated reservoirs. For class I AVO reservoirs and gas-saturation, the seismic response is a high-frequency bright spot as the amplitude energy shifts. However, it is a low-frequency shadow for the Class III AVO reservoirs saturated with hydrocarbons. In this paper, we verified the high-frequency bright spot results of Chapman for the Class I AVO response using the frequency-dependent analysis of a physical model dataset. The physical model is designed as inter-bedded thin sand and shale based on real field geology parameters. We observed two datasets using fixed offset and 2D geometry with different fluid- saturated conditions. Spectral and time-frequency analyses methods are applied to the seismic datasets to describe the response characteristics for gas-, water-, and oil-saturation. The results of physical model dataset processing and analysis indicate that reflection wave tuning and fluid-related dispersion are the main seismic response characteristic mechanisms. Additionally, the gas saturation model can be distinguished from water and oil saturation for Class I AVO utilizing the frequency-dependent abnormal characteristic. The frequency-dependent characteristic analysis of the physical model dataset verified the different spectral response characteristics corresponding to the different fluid-saturated models. Therefore, by careful analysis of real field seismic data, we can obtain the abnormal spectral characteristics induced by the fluid variation and implement fluid detection using seismic data directly.
