Network structures and human behaviors are considered as two important factors in virus defense currently. However, due to ignorance of network security, normal users usually take simple activities, such as reinstalling computer system, or using the computer recovery system to clear virus. How system recovery influences virus spreading is not taken into consideration currently. In this paper, a new virus propagation model considering the system recovery is proposed first, and then in its steady-state analysis, the virus propagation steady time and steady states are deduced. Experiment results show that models considering system recovery can effectively restrain virus propagation. Furthermore, algorithm with system recovery in BA scale-free network is proposed. Simulation result turns out that target immunization strategy with system recovery works better than traditional ones in BA network. 展开更多

Traditional wireless MWD telemetry systems such as mud pulse and electromagnetic telemetry are limited due to low carrier frequencies. The first acoustic telemetry system was studied as part of a drill stem testing system in 2000, but there are some problems limited it to using for information transmission in drilling. In the paper, we study and simulation on the drill string channel characteristics. Based on the transmission equation of longitudinal wave in periodic drill string channel, we get a geometrical model for drill string channel. Two aspects are studied. Firstly, the equation for dispersion is established analyze and simulate the influence of length and cross-section to dispersion. Secondly, we introduce finite-difference for analyzing of transient response. Simulate transient response of drill string channel by changing the geometrical-characters of drill string. The paper gets characteristics of channel dispersion and signal attenuation, and useful for the choosing of best passband for carrier frequency. It is valuable for the acoustic telemetry to use for drilling applications. 展开更多

This paper presents a detailed investigation, via field experiment, into the mechanism of high-order polygonal wear of wheels of a new type of high-speed train. The investigation was carried out during the performance acceptance test of the train and its initial commercial operation. The investigation covered the performance acceptance test of 150 000 km and the commercial operation of about 150 000 km. In the performance acceptance test of the first stage of about 70 000 km, at 200-250 km/h with full loading and sometimes overloading by 30%, the serious polygonal wear of 23-order took place on all the wheels of the train, and was measured and analyzed in detail. All the potygonized wheels were re-profiled because the polygonal wear had caused strong vibration and damage to the train parts. After re-profiling, the vibration of the train and track and the wear status of the wheels were measured and analyzed at different test mileages according to the polygonal wear situation of the wheels. The measured vibration of the train includes the accelerations at different positions of a motor car and a trail car. The vibration modes of the key parts of the bogies of the two cars were calculated. Meanwhile, the track resonant frequencies were investigated at the site. The purpose of the above tests and analysis is try to find the frequency of work mode matching the passing frequency of the high-order wheel polygon. The present investigation shows that one of the working models causes the formation and development of the high-order wheel polygonal wear. The growth of this wear was effectively reduced through the frequent changing of the running speed of the train operating on the way back and forth every day. 展开更多

The modal analysis of piping system in air conditioner (AC) outdoor unit is essential to investigate the vibration properties of the system. In view of the growing significance of numerical finite element (FE) model for vibration behaviour prediction, the AC piping elastic end support characterization has been explored. The axial and radial stiffness variables (ka, kr1, kr2) of the compressor-piping mounting are obtained and represented by dynamic stiffness of compressor grommet. They are obtained from dynamic load deflection test based on compressor operating condition such as excitation frequency and amplitude. The unknown stiffness variables of the other tube end (chassis-piping mounting) are determined by parameter fine tuning. An experimental modal analysis using impact hammer test has also been employed to determine the vibration properties such as natural frequencies, mode shapes and damping ratio of the piping structures. The modal parameters acquisition using SCADAS mobile acquisition system and LMS Impact Testing software is compared with the corresponding simulated modal properties using Abaqus. Most of the simulated natural frequencies achieve good correlation with the measured frequencies and it is reasonably a good prediction model to predict vibration behaviour of AC piping structures. 展开更多

A mathematical model describing the dynamics of toxin producing phytoplankton- zooplankton interaction with instantaneous nutrient recycling is proposed. We have explored the dynamics of plankton ecosystem with multiple delays; one due to gestation period in the growth of phytoplankton population and second due to the delay in toxin liberated by TPP. It is established that a sequence of Hopf bifurcations occurs at the interior equilibrium as the delay increases through its critical value. The direction of the Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are determined using the theory of normal form and center manifold. Meanwhile, effect of toxin on the stability of delayed plankton system is also established numerically. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to support and supplement the analytical findings. 展开更多

We study the distributed Kalman filtering problem in relative sensing networks with rigorous analysis.The relative sensing network is modeled by an undirected graph while nodes in this network are running homogeneous dynamical models. The sufficient and necessary condition for the observability of the whole system is given with detailed proof. By local information and measurement communication, we design a novel distributed suboptimal estimator based on the Kalman filtering technique for comparison with a centralized optimal estimator. We present sufficient conditions for its convergence with respect to the topology of the network and the numerical solutions of n linear matrix inequality(LMI) equations combining system parameters. Finally, we perform several numerical simulations to verify the effectiveness of the given algorithms. 展开更多
