Quadratic integrability of solutions based on a class of delayed systems

Some properties such as oscillation, stability, existence of periodic solutions and quadratic integrability of solutions based on a class of second order nonlinear delayed systems are analyzed by using the V-function, the Lyapunov functional or the Beuman-Bihari inequality, and some sufficient conditions based on those properties are given. Finally, the conclusions are applied to over-voltage models based on three-phase nonsynchronous closing of switches appearing in the power systems, the results in accord with the background physical meaning are obtained. And all the conditions of the conclusions are easy to validate, so the conclusions have definite theoretical meaning and are easy to apply in practice. 展开更多

An adaptive terminal sliding mode control (SMC) technique is proposed to deal with the tracking problem for a class of high-order nonlinear dynamic systems. It is shown that a function augmented sliding hyperplane can be used to develop a new terminal sliding mode for high-order nonlinear systems. A terminal SMC controller based on Lyapunov theory is designed to force the state variables of the closed-loop system to reach and remain on the terminal sliding mode, so that the output tracking error then converges to zero in finite time which can be set arbitrarily. An adaptive mechanism is introduced to estimate the unknown parameters of the upper bounds of system uncertainties. The estimates are then used as controller parameters so that the effects of uncertain dynamics can be eliminated. It is also shown that the stability of the closed-loop system can be guaranteed with the proposed control strategy. The simulation of a numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of the new method. 展开更多

Higher order Rosochatius flows are defined and straightened out in the Jacobi variety of the associated hyperelliptic curve. Sixty indexes, ranging from social development and economy increasing to ecological protection and transportation system construction, are chosen to construct an index system of adaptability evaluation on transportation system and urban development. A synthesis model with nonlinear characteristic is proposed, and the corresponding procedure is presented based on an improved AHP model, which utilizes the SVD method to improve the required precision of matrix with acceptable consistency weight and detect and amend the significant elements via distance and proximity so as to improve the whole consistency. Taking Shandong Province for the case study, experimental results indicate that the adaptability degree of the system is in an increasing state, which provides robust and effective support for decision-makers working on a range of problems and in various circumstances. 展开更多

It shows the changes in the system dynamics and the appearance of zeroes in the right-plan complex, turning the system a non-minimum phase system. The performance of the PID (proportional-integral-derivative) and LQR (linear quadratic regulator) controller are discussed considering the zero dynamics of the system in three points of special interest: (I) the collocated case, when the sensor is in the base of the link; (2) the critical case, where the system starts to present zeroes in the right-plan complex and (3) the limit case, when the sensors are in the end point of the flexible link. Investigation for a simple rigid-flexible model with one mode, in the three cases, the PID and LQR controller performance are damage. A new local cost function is proposed in this paper based on the linear relationship assumption between the values of the color components and the intensity component in each local image window,then a new quadratic objective function is derived from it and the globally optimal chrominance values can be computed by solving a sparse linear system of equations.Through the colorization experiments on various test images,it is confirmed that the colorized images obtained by our proposed method have more vivid colors and sharper boundaries than those obtained by the traditional method.The peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR) of the colorized images and the average estimation error of the chrominance values relative to the original images also show that our proposed method gives more precise estimation than the traditional method. 展开更多

This paper focuses on the 1/2 sub-harmonic resonance of an aircraft’s rotor system under hovering flight that can be modeled as a maneuver load G in the equations of motion.The effect on the rotor system is analyzed by using theoretical methods.It is shown that the sub-harmonic resonance may occur due to maneuvering flight conditions.The larger the eccentricity E and the maneuver load G,the greater the sub-harmonic resonance.The effects of nonlinear stiffness,damping of the system,maneuver load,and eccentricity on the sub-harmonic resonance region in parameter planes are also investigated.Bifurcation diagrams of the analytical solutions are in good agreement with that of the numerical simulation solutions.These results will contribute to the understanding of the nonlinear dynamic behaviors of maneuvering rotor systems. 展开更多
