SAPO-34 was synthesized with n-butylamine(BA) as a template for the first time.Crystallization temperature and initial Si amount were important factors leading to successful syntheses.Lamellar AlPO-kanemite tends to...SAPO-34 was synthesized with n-butylamine(BA) as a template for the first time.Crystallization temperature and initial Si amount were important factors leading to successful syntheses.Lamellar AlPO-kanemite tends to form as the major phase or as an impurity of SAPO-34 at lower crystallization temperatures,though a higher initial Si amount may offer a positive effect on the crystallization of SAPO-34 that mitigates the low temperature.Higher temperature(240℃) can effectively suppress the generation of lamellar materials and allow the synthesis of pure SAPO-34 with a wider range of Si incorporation.The crystallization processes at 200 and 240℃ were investigated and compared.We used the aminothermal method to synthesize SAPO-34-BA at 240℃ and also found n-propylamine is a suitable template for the synthesis of SAPO-34.The SAPO-34-BA products were characterized by many techniques.SAPO-34-BA has good thermal stability,crystallinity and porosity.BA remained intact in the crystals with ~1.8 BA molecule per chabazite cage.The catalytic performance of SAPO-34 was tested in the methanol amination reaction,which showed high methanol conversion and selectivity for methylamine plus dimethylamine under the conditions investigated,suggesting that this material is a good candidate for the synthesis of methylamines.展开更多

The outer-level Bregman iterative procedure enforces the observation data constraints, while the inner-level Bregmanized method devotes to dictionary updating and sparse represention of small overlapping image patches. The introduced constraint of graph regularized sparse coding can capture local image features effectively, and consequently enables accurate reconstruction from highly undersampled partial data. Furthermore, modified sparse coding and simple dictionary updating applied in the inner minimization make the proposed algorithm converge within a relatively small number of iterations. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively reconstruct images and it outperforms the current state-of-the-art approaches in terms of visual comparisons and quantitative measures.展开更多

In this protocol, the particles in the orthogonal product states form two particle sequences. The sender, Alice, first sends one sequence to the receiver, Bob. After Bob receives the first particle sequence, Alice and Bob check eavesdropping by measuring a fraction of particles randomly chosen. After ensuring the security of the quantum channel, Alice sends the other particle sequence to Bob. By making an orthogonal measurement on the two particle sequences, Bob can obtain the information of the orthogonal product states sent by Alice. In the light of the problem of weak reflection signals shielded by strong reflections from the concrete surface,the detection and the recognition of hidden micro-cracks in the shield tunnel lining were studied using t...In the light of the problem of weak reflection signals shielded by strong reflections from the concrete surface,the detection and the recognition of hidden micro-cracks in the shield tunnel lining were studied using the orthogonal matching pursuit and the Hilbert transform(OMHT method).First,according to the matching pursuit algorithm and the strong reflection-forming mechanism,and based on the sparse representation theory,a sparse dictionary,adapted to the characteristics of the strong reflection signal,was selected,and a matching decomposition of each signal was performed so that the weak target signal submerged in the strong reflection was displayed more strongly.Second,the Hilbert transform was used to extract multiple parameters,such as the instantaneous amplitude,the instantaneous frequency,and the instantaneous phase,from the processed signal,and the ground penetrating radar(GPR)image was comprehensively analyzed and determined from multiple angles.The results show that the OMHT method can accurately weaken the effect of the strong impedance interface and effectively enhance the weak reflected signal energy of hidden micro-crack in the shield tunnel segment.The resolution of the processed GPR image is greatly improved,and the reflected signal of the hidden micro-crack is easily visible,which proves the validity and accuracy of the analysis method.展开更多
The formation and migration of polarons have important influences on physical and chemical properties of transition metal oxides.Density functional theory plus the Hubbard U correction(DFT+U)and constrained density fu...The formation and migration of polarons have important influences on physical and chemical properties of transition metal oxides.Density functional theory plus the Hubbard U correction(DFT+U)and constrained density functional theory(cDFT)are often used to obtain the transfer properties for small polarons.In this work we have implemented the cDFT plus the Hubbard U correction method in the projector augmented wave(PAW)framework,andapplied it to study polaron transfer in the bulk phases of TiO_(2).We have confirmed that the parameter U can have significant impact on theoretical prediction of polaronic properties.It was found that using the Hubbard U calculated by the cDFT method with the same orbital projection as used in DFT+U,one can obtain theoretical prediction of polaronic properties of rutile and anatase phases of TiO_(2) in good agreement with experiment.This work indicates that the cDFT+U method with consistently evaluated U is a promising first-principles approach to polaronic properties of transition metal oxides without empirical input.展开更多
The political upheavals in the Arab world during 2011 challenged the political status quo and have irrevocably paved the way toward transformation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), The longstanding structu...The political upheavals in the Arab world during 2011 challenged the political status quo and have irrevocably paved the way toward transformation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), The longstanding structural impediments to equitable growth and social justice afflicting the Arab world came to a head through a combination of persistently poverty, high unemployment, particularly among educated youth, rampant corruption, deficit of democratic governance, and essential freedoms. Yemen is the third country of the Middle Eastern countries which turmoil sparked in. All the uprisings connote of social, political and economic discontent and frustration. The main question and issue of this paper is to answer: What conditions breed change to Yemen? The paper spotlights "relative deprivation" of Ted Robert Gurr as the most relevant theory to illustrate roots of the Yemen uprising. Relative deprivation theory holds that instead of an absolute standard deprivation, a gap between expectations and reality leads men to political violence. Therefore, this study is to utilize relative deprivation theory to explain how socio-economic shortages (such as high unemployment and education, along with poverty) and political inefficiencies of the Yemen's authoritarian regime led to public and collective discontent and upheaval. The intervened variables such as "ethnicity, race, religion, and sexuality" and international parameters have not been considered,展开更多
