As a new class of forward error correcting encoding algorithm,Luby Transform codes are suitable for the erasure channel environment based on the packet communication.The encoding,decoding algorithms and the implementation of LT codes are summarized in the paper.Meanwhile simulations of the ideal soliton distribution and robust soliton distribution are conducted to evaluate the performance of LT codes in terms of successful decoding probability,mean degree and decoding time over the erasure channel.The parameter optimization rules of LT codes are deeply discussed and proposed in the paper.The research results are of great practical importance for improving the real time performance in the erasure correction applications. 展开更多

The method of error correction is one of key techniques of parallel robot. A new method of end error correction of 6-HTRT parallel robot is presented for engineering and researching on correlative theory of 6-HTRT parallel robot. The method need calculate many kinematics equations of parallel robot such as position back solution, velocity Jacobin, position forward solution and error Jacobin. New methods presented for solving these questions are simpler and fitter for programming and calculating, because former methods are too complex to use in engineering. These questions may be solved by iterative method of numerical value which has fast velocity of calculating. These new methods may be used in other mechanism of parallel robot too, and so have wider using value. The experimental results demonstrate that the system may satisfy entirely high technical request and fit for engineering in new measures. 展开更多

In this work,synchronous cutting of concave and convex surfaces was achieved using the duplex helical method for the hypoid gear,and the problem of tooth surface error correction was studied.First,the mathematical model of the hypoid gears machined by the duplex helical method was established.Second,the coordinates of discrete points on the tooth surface were obtained by measurement center,and the normal errors of the discrete points were calculated.Third,a tooth surface error correction model is established,and the tooth surface error was corrected using the Levenberg-Marquard algorithm with trust region strategy and least square method.Finally,grinding experiments were carried out on the machining parameters obtained by Levenberg-Marquard algorithm with trust region strategy,which had a better effect on tooth surface error correction than the least square method.After the tooth surface error is corrected,the maximum absolute error is reduced from 30.9μm before correction to 6.8μm,the root mean square of the concave error is reduced from 15.1 to 2.1μm,the root mean square of the convex error is reduced from 10.8 to 1.8μm,and the sum of squared errors of the concave and convex surfaces was reduced from 15471 to 358μm^(2).It is verified that the Levenberg-Marquard algorithm with trust region strategy has a good accuracy for the tooth surface error correction of hypoid gear machined by duplex helical method. 展开更多

Wireless technology provides accurate positioning in indoor environments using time of arrival(TOA) based ranging techniques. However, the positioning accuracy is degraded due to the ranging errors caused by multipath and non-line-of-sight(NLOS) propagation. In this paper, a ranging error correction method is proposed to improve positioning performance. A TOA ranging error model(TREM) is built to provide the prior information for ranging error correction first. The mean value of TREM within a certain interval is used as the ranging error correction value(RECV). As the RECV may be unreasonable sometimes, we adjust it according to the actual positioning situation and then exploit the final RECV to correct ranging data. The experimental results show that the proposed method could well reduce ranging errors and the positioning performance is obviously improved when using corrected ranging data. 展开更多

For communication systems with heavy burst noise, an optimal Forward Error Correction(FEC) scheme is expected to have a large burst error correction capability while simultaneously owning moderate random error correction capability. This letter presents a new FEC scheme based on multiple-symbol interleaved Reed-Solomon codes and an associated two-pass decoding algorithm. It is shown that the proposed multi-symbol interleaved Reed-Solomon scheme can achieve nearly twice as much as the burst error correction capability of conventional single-symbol interleaved Reed-Solomon codes with the same code length and code rate. 展开更多

The influence of the wavelength dispersion on the temperature accuracy of the Raman distributed temperature sensor system (RDTS) is analyzed in detail, and a simple correction algorithm is proposed to compensate the fiber position error caused by the wavelength dispersion. The principle of the proposed algorithm is described theoretically, and the correction on each point along the entire fiber is realized. Temperature simulation results validate that the temperature distortion is corrected and the temperature accuracy is effectively improved from +5 ℃ to ±1 ℃. 展开更多

Two kinds of measurement errors have been observed in the recently developed UAT-2 ultrasonic anemometer.One is the flow distortion produced by a"blocking effect",and the other is the angle of attack caused by the vertical misalignment of the instrument.Here,we study these errors and discuss the possible correction methods.Via a wind tunnel experiment and numerical simulation,a 3D calibration matrix was developed to correct the"blocking effect".In the field test,the angle of attack was detected by an inclinometer settled on the reference plane of the anemometer,and the instrumental misalignment or tilt was corrected by a coordinate transformation.The combined use of an inclinometer and the proposed correction method may help find a new approach for vertical velocity correction. 展开更多
