The method of seismic damage pred...This paper presents a method for searching the weak story by using the ultimate shear force coefficient on the multi-story brick buildings with two frame-shear-wall-supported stories. The method of seismic damage prediction is discussed according to different weak stories. When the first story is t theweak one,the damage state of the building can be determined by the displacement ratio. The prediction method is also used in a practical engineering project.展开更多
Aiming to give some advices on the ground coupled heat pump system design in Siehuan Province, China, a typical ground source heat pump (GSHP) system in Sichuan Province was tested in a whole operational year, and t...Aiming to give some advices on the ground coupled heat pump system design in Siehuan Province, China, a typical ground source heat pump (GSHP) system in Sichuan Province was tested in a whole operational year, and the parameters of temperature and flow rate in different parts of system were measured during this period. The seasonal energy efficiency ratio was calculated and the performance of heat pump system in summer was compared with that in winter. The result shows that the coefficient of performance of the system reaches 3.63 in summer and 3.49 in winter, respectively. The heat balance in underground rock mass is acquired basically throughout the year, and the heat accumulation in the earth tends to be zero.展开更多

The temperature-dependenceof electric resistivity and Hall coefficient from 2 to 300 K shows that the CaB6single crystals are conductors withsemi-metallic behavior and electron carriers. Band structure calculations indicate that the conduction and valence bands meetat the X point at the Fermi level, which is consistent with the experimentally determined conducting behavior of CaB6singlecrystals. Calculations of state density suggest that the states at the Fermi level originate from the 2p orbital of the B atoms andthe 3d orbital of the Ca atom. Magnetization measurements show the paramagnetic nature of the CaB6. The micro-hardness ofCaB6is 24.39 GPa, and the Raman spectra of CaB6yield three sharp peaks at around 780.9, 1138.9, and 1282.1 cm 1for T2g,Eg, and A1g, respectively. The specific heat of the crystal is measured and found to be well described by the Debye and Einsteincombined model. The fitting results show Debye and Einstein temperatures are 1119 and 199 K, respectively.展开更多
