The mechanism of PT-T model was analyzed based on Priestley-Taylor ex- tended model, and the result showed that land surface temperature or temperature difference between day and night could be used to evaluate the evapotranspiration factor. The evapotranspiration of 6 forest types was estimated with MODIS data and TM data and weather information during 2008-2009. The result suggested that water consumption of different forest differs insignificantly, and the EF of eucalyptus is not high. 展开更多

We utilize the fuzzy linguistic scale to construct a linguistic preference matrix, and propose a fuzzy induced ordered weighted geometric averaging (FIOWGA) operator to aggregate linguistic preference information. A method based on the fuzzy linguistic scale and FIOWGA operator for decision-making problems is presented. A new method is presented for silo classification using the rupture plane in the storage. The proposed method is based on the formula of rupture plane orientation determined by the aspect ratio of specified silos and involves the effects of the conical angle of the storage surface, so it can deal with two cases: the conical angle of the storage surface and the flat storage surface. Compared with the two popular methods based on the silo-aspect ratio and the silo rupture plane, respectively, in current engineering design, the new method can give a range of critical aspect ratios to classify deep silos and squat silos according to the conical angle of the storage surface or the fiat storage surface. Moreover, the range covers the critical aspect ratios obtained from the existing classification methods including the Chinese code based on silo aspect ratios, the German code, Reimbert brothers' definition and Liang et al. 's definition, so it is a more general method to classify silos and the existing methods can be viewed as special cases of the presented method. 展开更多

To study the effect of the contact angle and helix angle on slide-roll ratio at the ball contact points under the accelerated motion state of ball screw mechanisrm(B S M),the curve theory in differential geometry a d the homogeneous transformation matrix ae used to establish the acceleration kinematics model of BSM.The model can be used to describe the accelerated motion relationships among the screw,balls and nut,calculate the acceleration of relative motion at the contact points between the balls and raceways,and analyze five accelerated motion rules between the balls and raceways.It also conducts a simulation analysis of the slide-roll ratio relationship between the accelerations at the ball center and the contact point of ball under different contact angles and helix angles.As shownby the analysis,with the increase in the BSM’s contact angle,the slide-roll ratio at the contact points decreases,and the contact angle has a relatively significant effect on the slide-roll ratio.However,with the decrease in the BSM’helix angle,the slide-roll ratio at the contact points decreases,and the helix angle has a relatively insignificant effect on the slide-roll ratio.By measuring the accelerations of both the screw and nut under the accelerated motion state,it also verifies the existence of the slide-roll mixed motion at the ball contact point A between the ball and the screw racewayand pure rolling at the ball contact point B between the ball and the nut raceway during the accelerated motion. 展开更多

The 12 mm-thick Ti−6Al−4V(TC4)titanium alloy plates were welded using keyhole tungsten inert gas(K-TIG)welding at various heat inputs.The microstructure,grain boundary(GB)characteristics and mechanical properties of the weld metal zone(WMZ)were analyzed.The test results show that the K-TIG welds are well formed,and no obvious defects are observed when the heat input is 2.30−2.62 kJ/mm.When the heat input gradually increases,αlaths increase in length,andα′phase and residualβphase are reduced.The electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)test results indicate that the high-angle GB proportion in the WMZ increases with the increase of heat input.The tensile strength of the WMZ gradually decreases and the elongation of the WMZ increases when the heat input increases from 2.30 to 2.62 kJ/mm.The impact toughness of the WMZ increases as the heat input increases. 展开更多

Contrast-enhanced US revealed heterogeneous, not ... We describe a 15-mm scirrhous hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in a 60-year-old man with B-type cirrhosis. Ultrasound disclosed a 15-mm hypoechoic nodule in segment 7. Contrast-enhanced US revealed heterogeneous, not diffuse, hypervascularity in the early phase and a defect in the Kupffer phase.Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) revealed a heterogeneous hypervascular nodule in the early phase and a low-density area in the late phase.Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed iso- to hypointensity at T1 and high intensity at T2-weighted sequences. Contrast-enhanced MRI also revealed a heterogeneous hypervascular nodule in the early phase and washout in the late phase. Super-paramagnetic iron oxide-MRI revealed a hvoerintense nodule. CT during hepatic arteriography and CT during arterial portography revealed heterogeneous hyperattenuation and a perfusion defect, respectively. Based on these imaging findings the nodule was diagnosed as a mixed well-differentiated and moderately-differentiated HCC.Histologically, the nodule was moderately-differentiated HCC characterized by typical cytological and structural atypia with dense fibrosis. Immunohistochemically,the nodule was positive for heterochromatin protein 1 and alpha-smooth muscle actin, and negative for cytokeratin 19. From the above findings, the nodule was diagnosed as scirrhous HCC. Clinicians engaged in hepatology should exercise caution with suspected scirrhous HCC when imaging studies reveal atypical findings, as shown in our case on the basis of chronic liver disease. 展开更多

The performance of inclined pile group embedded in consolidating soil under surcharge load was investigated by experiment in comparison with vertical pile group and single pile under the same conditions; dragload, downdrag, and layered soil settlement were measured. A three-dimensional numerical model was built via FLAC3D software, and verified by the experimental results. Influence factors, such as consolidation time, pile spacing, and pile tilt angle were analyzed. The results show that dragload of inclined pile group increases with the increase of consolidation time and pile spacing or the decrease of pile tilt angle. Downdrag of inclined pile group increases with the increase of consolidation time, pile spacing and pile tilt angle. 展开更多

Inversion and Prediction of Consolidation Settlement Characteristics of the Fluvial Sediments Based on Void Ratio Variation in the Northern Modern Yellow River Subaqueous Delta, China 被引量:1

The modern Yellow River delta is formed near the estuary of the Yellow River with the characteristics of short formation time, efficient sedimentation rate and loose structure which make sediments prone to be compacted and consolidate under the geostatic stress and overburden stress. It is one of the key areas with land subsidence disasters in China, bringing a series of safety hazards to production and living. Based on the data of massive surface cores and ten drill holes ranging from 12 to 40 m obtained from the northern modern Yellow River subaqueous delta, the inversion method suitable for the calculation of consolidation settlement characteristics of the modern Yellow River subaqueous delta is discussed, and the consolidation settlement characteristics of the delta sediments are inversed and predicted in this paper. The actual void ratio of the delta sediments at the depth from 3 to 15 m shows a significant power function relationship with the depth, while the void ratio of the sediments below 15 m changes little with depth. The pre-consolidation settlement(from deposition to sampling) of the delta sediments is between 0.91 and 1.96 m, while the consolidation settlement of unit depth is between 9.6 and 14.0 cm m^(-1). The post-consolidation settlement(from sampling to stable) of the subaqueous delta sediments is between 0.65 and 1.56 m in the later stage, and the consolidation settlement of unit depth is between 7.6 and 13.1 cm m^(-1) under the overburden stress. The delta sediments with a buried depth of 3 to 7 m contribute the most to the possible consolidation settlement in the later stage. 展开更多

He also lbund the points on the ecliptic, where this velocity is equal to the average velocity of the Sun over all the ecliptic. For this purpose he used the idea of infinitely small arcs and their ratios in different points of the circle. The great scientist Leonard Euler (1707-1783) introduced in his works on spherical trigonometry the line-element ds of the surface of the sphere, i.e. the differential of the arc length. He constructed the spherical trigonometry as an inner geometry on the surface of the sphere. He replaced the trigonometry lines, which were in use befbre him, by trigonometric functions. 展开更多

A pintle injector is advantageous for throttling a liquid rocket engine and reducing engine weight. This study ex- plores the effects of momentum ratio and Weber number at various injection conditions on spray characteristics of the pintle injector for liquid-gas propellants. A liquid sheet is injected from a center pintle nozzle and it is broken by a gas jet from an annular gap. The pressure drops of propellants, and the pintle opening distance were consi- dered as control variables; using 0.1 -1.0 as a bar for the pressure drop of the liquid injection, a 0.01-4).2 bar for the pressure drop of gas jet and a 0.2 - 1.0 mm for the pintle opening distance. The discharge coefficient was de- creased linearly before the pintle opening distance of 0.75 mm and then, the coefficient was slightly increased. Spray images were captured by a CMOS camera with high resolution. Then, the shadow and reflected images were analyzed. Spray distributions were measured by a pattemator with an axial distance of 50 mm from a pintle tip. Finally, the spray half angles had an exponentially decreasing correlation as a momentum ratio divided by the Weber number. Also, the spray half angles from the spray distribution were underestimated compared to those measured from the captured images. 展开更多

In order to analyze the influence of blade outlet angle on inner flow field and performance of low-specific-speed centrifugal pump, the flow field in the pump with different blade outlet angles 32.5°and 39° was numerically calculated. The external performance experiment was also carried out on the pump. Based on SIMPLEC algorithm, time-average N-S equation and the rectified k-ε turbulent model were adopted during the process of computation. The distributions of velocity and pressure in pumps with different blade outlet angles were obtained by calculation. The numerical results show that backflow areas exist in the two impellers, while the inner flow has a little improvement in the impeller with larger blade outlet angle. Blade outlet angle has a certain influence on the static pressure near the long-blade leading edge and tongue, but it has little influence on the distribution of static pressure in the passages of impeller. The experiment results show that the low-specific-speed centrifugal pump with larger blade outlet angle has better hydraulic performance. 展开更多

When considering the practical engineering application of a waverider,the on-design and off-design aerodynamic characteristics of the design conditions,especially the lift-to-drag ratio and the stability,deserve attention.According to recently studies,the planform and rear sight shape of a waverider are closely related to the above aerodynamic performance.Thus,the planform leading-edge profile curve used to design the planform shape of a vehicle is applied to designing an osculating cone waverider.Two key parameters concerned in planform and rear sight shape,namely the plan view sweep angle of the leading edge and the dihedral angle of the underside are introduced to the waverider design process.Each parameter is inserted in the control curve equation.Especially,a parameterization scheme is put forward for the free adjustment of the sweep angle along the leading edge.Finally,three examples are generated for verification and investigation.After the verification process based on the inviscid flow field of one case,the influences of the sweep and dihedral angles on the lift-to-drag ratio and the lateral static stability are evaluated,and meaningful results are obtained.Based on these results,we can conclude that,considering the maximum lift-to-drag ratio,the sweep angle plays a role on the lift-to-drag ratio only at subsonic and trans/supersonic speed as a negligible effect is observed at hypersonic speeds,whereas the dihedral angle is seem to produce a relevant difference at hypersonic speeds.Considering the lateral static stability,the dihedral angles have more influence on the waverider than the sweep angles. 展开更多
