The col- orless C9 petroleum resin (CgPR) was obtained by two-stage catalytic hydrogenation over NiWS/?-A1203 catalyst and PdRu/ y-A1203 catalyst connected in series. Via the hydrogenation reaction, aromatic rings in C9PR were converted to alicyclic rings, and its color was reduced from Gardner color grade No. 11 to Gardner color grade No. 0. The optimum Ni/W atomic ratio was found to be close to 0.23, while the optimum Pd/Ru atomic ratio was close to 3.80. The TEM results showed that the morphology and size of sulfide or metal particles of the two kinds of catalysts remained almost unchanged after the reac- tion was carried our for 1 204 hours, attesting to their good catalytic stability.展开更多

The introduction of zeolites (HY, HZSM) and other additives could lead to an increase of the concentration of acid centers, which were able to react with sulfur compounds, along with an increase of total catalysts’ pore volume, which could improve the capability of catalyst to adsorb the hydrogen and feed oil.展开更多

In this study, both of these two processes in photocatalytic hydrogen evolution over graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) were greatly promoted with the earth-abundant ferrites (Co, Ni)Fe2O4 modification. CoFe2O4 was further demonstrated to be a better modifier for g-C3N4 as compared to NiFe2O4, due to the more efficient charge carrier transfer as well as superior surface oxidative catalytic activity. When together loading CoFe2O4 and reductive hydrogen production electrocatalyst Pt onto g-C3N4, the obtained Pt/g-C3N4/CoFe2O4 photocatalyst achieved visible-light (2 〉 420 nm) hydrogen production rate 3.5 times as high as Pt/g-C3N4, with the apparent quantum yield reaching 3.35 % at 420 nm.展开更多

These catalysts were characterized by various techniques including IR, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. It was demonstrated that the Pd particles with size less than 5 nm were uniformly distributed throughout the support, and they were in the electron-deficient state due to the strong interactions with the modified support. The resultant Pd-TMG/GO catalyst displayed high efficiency for the selective hydrogenation of citral with a turnover frequency of 7100 h-1 as well as superior selectivity to citronellal of 89.6%. Moreover, the catalyst can be reused for five times without obvious activity loss, which may result from its stable structure.展开更多
