一忌:取出草就喂刚取出的氯化草有浓烈的氨味,最好按需要量从氨池中取出后将其薄薄地摊在阴凉通风处,放置10~24小时,以饲草略带氨味但不刺激人的眼、鼻时饲喂为佳。注意氨化草不要曝晒和晾得过干,以免影响草的氨化效果。

Serological Diagnosis of Liver Metastasis in Patients with Breast Cancer 被引量:6

Objective To diagnose and explore the serological diagnostic factors for liver metastasis in patients with breast cancer before symptoms occur. Methods A total of 430 female in-patients with breast cancer of stages 0 ... Objective To diagnose and explore the serological diagnostic factors for liver metastasis in patients with breast cancer before symptoms occur. Methods A total of 430 female in-patients with breast cancer of stages 0 to IIIC who came to Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital from January 2003 to January 2004 were studied and followed up until May 2011. Serum levels of biochemical markers for tumor and liver were measured at the time of diagnosis. Results Liver metastasis was more likely to occur in patients with stage Ill cancer or c-erbB-2-positive expression. Alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, ~/-glutamyltransferase (GGT), alkaline phosphatase, lactate dehvdrogenase (LDH), and carbohydrate antigen 1153 (CA153) levels were significantly higher in patients with liver metastasis than those without liver metastasis. Diagnostic indices of LDH, GGT, and CA153 were 174 U/L, 32 U/L, and 26.48 Dg/L, respectively. The areas under the curves of LDH, GGT, and CEA were 0.795, 0.784, and 0.661, respectively, and sensitivities of parallel tests for LDH and CA153 and for GGT and CA153 were 88.6% and 85.7 %, respectively. The specificity of serial tests for both pairs of enzymes was 97.7%. Conclusions Tile sensitivity and specificity of combined tumor and biochemical markers could be used as indicators during screening for breast-liver metastasis. 展开更多

AIM:To examine the effects of 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone(BP-1),a benzophenone derivative used as an ultraviolet light absorbent,on acetaminophen(APAP)induced hepatotoxicity in C57BL/6J mice.METHODS:Mice were administered orally with BP-1 at doses of 200,400 and 800 mg/kg body weight respectively every morning for 4 d before a hepatotoxic dose of APAP(350 mg/kg body weight) was given subcutaneously.Twenty four hours after APAP intoxication,the serum enzyme including serum alaine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) were measured and liver histopathologic changes were examined.RESULTS:BP-1 administration dramatically reduced serum ALT,AST and LDH levels.Liver histopathological examination showed that BP-1 administration antagonized APAP-induced liver pathological damage in a dose-dependent manner.Further tests showed that APAP-induced hepatic lipid peroxidation was reduced significantly by BP-1 pretreatment,and glutathione depletion was ameliorated obviously.CONCLUSION:BP-1 can effectively protect C57BL/6J mice from APAP-induced hepatotoxicity,and reduction of oxidative stress might be part of the protection mechanism. 展开更多

As a widely used traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Swertia punicea Hemsl has exhibited effects on anti-hepatitis B virus (HBV), liver protection, hypoglycemic activity and cholecystitis. In this study, we confirmed that xanthone extract from Swertia punicea Hemsl (XSPH) improved the motor deficit, increased the levels of striatal dopamine (DA) and homovanilic acid (HVA), and alleviated the loss of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH)-positive neurons located in substantia nigra pars compacta (SNpc) in MPTP-induced mouse model of Parkinson's disease (PD). In conclusion, the present results indicated that XSPH offered neuroprotective effects against the neurotoxicity of MPTP and it might be a potential treatment for PD. 展开更多

Amino compounds (ACs), i.e., amino acids and amino sugars, are the major forms of organic nitrogen (N) in animal manure and soil. To increase our understanding on the effect of long-term poultry litter (PL) application on soil AC pools and turnover, in this study, we determined the contents of 21 ACs in 23 PL samples, i5 soil samples collected from 0-20, 20-40, and 40-60 cm layers of five pasture plots with 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of PL applications, and 5 grass shoot samples grown on these pasture fields. The contents of 21 ACs were simultaneously determined by methanesulfonic acid hydrolysis/extraction and anion chromatography-pulsed amperometry. PL application increased soil total and individual AC contents with a distribution pattern similar to that of AC in PL. The highest AC-N concentrations were observed in the soils with 10- or 15-year PL applications, inconsistent with the order of annual application rates or eunmlative applied PL amounts. Application of PL increased the AC contents in grass shoots whereby the highest increase of most ACs was with the shoots from the fields that received PL for 5 years. These observations suggested that both freshly applied and residual PL had contributions to the soil AC-N, and that PL application also accelerated AC-N transformation in soil. 展开更多
