The corresponding electron attachment rate constants varied from 1.26×10-8 cm3/(molecules s) to 8.24×10-9 cm3/(molecules s) as the electric field changed from 200 V/cm to 500 V/cm. At a fixed electric field in the drift region, the attachment rate constants are also detected at different sample concentration. The ionmolecule reaction rate constants for the further reaction between Cl^- and CHCl3 are also detected, which indicates that the technique maybe becomes a new method to research the rate constants between ions and neural molecules. And the reaction rate constants between Cl- and CHCl3 are the first time detected using CD-IMS.展开更多

[BMIM]Br-AlCl3 was used to investigate the effect on deacidification of oil. Experimental results showed that at a temperature of 323K with a molar ratio of AlCl3 to [BM1M]Br-AlCl3 of 0.2, and a mass ratio of IL to white oil of 4%, the deacidification rate could reach 75.9%. And a reaction time of 4 h was sufficient to achieve the goal. The study on reproducibility of catalytic performance of [BMIM]Br-AlCl3 showed the possibility of using the ionic liquid in the continuous catalytic reaction.展开更多

The influence of various reaction parameters such as reaction time, temperature, dosage and acid strength of catalyst was investigated. The experimental results demonstrated that the ionic liquid exhibited excellent activity under mild reaction conditions, with the conversion of olefins reaching 98.84% and the bromine index of the aromatics varying from 1129 to 13. On the basis of the results obtained, thereof, a possible reaction mechanism was proposed.展开更多

It was found that the longer the alkyl chain of ionic liquid cations was, the higher the olefins conversion would be. OMIMBr-AlCl3 (with 0.67 molar fraction of AlCl3) had an obvious performance on olefins removal. The influences of various reaction parameters such as the dosage of catalyst, the reaction temperature, and the reaction time on the reaction catalyzed by OMIMBr-AlCl3 were investigated. Under optimum reaction conditions, a higher than 99% conversion of olefins was achieved. The preliminary results revealed that the process could save time, consume less energy, separate products easier, and cause less pollution to the environment.展开更多

The results indicate that the observed electron paramagnetic resonance spectra are due to polycyclic aromatic radicals formed from the parent hydrocarbons. It is suggested that benzyl halides produced in the Friedel-Crafts alkylation reactions undergo Scholl self-condensation to give polycyclic aromatic hydrocar- bons, which are converted into corresponding polycyclic aromatic radical cations in the presence of AlCl3. The identification of observed two radicals 2,6-dimethylanthracene and 1,4,5,8-tetramethylanthraeene were supported by density functional theory calculations using the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p)//B3LYP/6-31G(d) approach. The theoretical coupling constants support the experimental assignment of the observed radicals.展开更多
