In this paper, flume tests were performed at varying wave heightsunder both conditions of liquefied and stable seabed. The total pressures equal to soilpressures and pore water pressures were measured and analyzed at each depth. Theresults showed that the liquefied seabed had little difference from the stable seabed onthe peak pressures. However, the pressure amplitude of the liquefied soil increased byseveral to 10 times and decreased faster with increasing soil depths, compared with thestable soil. According to the experiments and further analysis, an empirical equationbetween pressure amplitude of the liquefied soil and wave parameters was put forwardunder the flume test. The main purpose of this paper is to obtain a reliable model of subgrade soil water content variation under the action of dry-wet cycle through sensor readings. Thus,an indoor soil column model test system is designed,and the readings of the sensors are used to determine the changing law of moisture field in the subgrade soil. The sensor readings indicate that the water content gradually decreases along the height of the soil column,and the water in the upper part of the soil column continuously loses,while the water in the lower part migrates upward to supplement. With the increase of dry-wet cycle index,the water holding capacity of soil decreases,and the soil surface gradually cracks and tends to rupture.展开更多
Sodium hypochlorite and ozone are the principal active substances and usually employed in ballast water management systems. In the present study, the authors focus on the effect of these active substances to the maaix...Sodium hypochlorite and ozone are the principal active substances and usually employed in ballast water management systems. In the present study, the authors focus on the effect of these active substances to the maaix polymer of coating. In order to obtain such information, the authors investigated the penetration of active substances to the polymer from cross section of specimens introduced by SAICAS (surface and interracial cutting analysis system), followed by FT-IR-ATR (Fourier transform infrared and attenuated total reflectance) spectroscopy analysis from Z direction of cross section. The corrosion test of coating panels by these active substances (control as artificial seawater) has been conducted for 120 days. The results show that the depth profile of each active substance is around few dozens of micrometers from coating surface. The criteria of corrosion test cannot be determined by these results due to lacking in actual corrosion data immersed for 15 years under active substances. However, the authors evaluated the effect on ballast tank coating systems by active substances using analytical methods of SAICAS and FT-IR-ATR spectroscopy.展开更多
Experimental evidence has indicated that clay exhibits strain-softening response under undrained compression following anisotropic consolidation.The purpose of this work was to propose a modeling method under critical...Experimental evidence has indicated that clay exhibits strain-softening response under undrained compression following anisotropic consolidation.The purpose of this work was to propose a modeling method under critical state theory of soil mechanics.Based on experimental data on different types of clay,a simple double-surface model was developed considering explicitly the location of critical state by incorporating the density state into constitutive equations.The model was then used to simulate undrained triaxial compression tests performed on isotropically and anisotropically consolidated samples with different stress ratios.The predictions were compared with experimental results.All simulations demonstrate that the proposed approach is capable of describing the drained and undrained compression behaviors following isotropic and anisotropic consolidations.展开更多

The results showed that chlorantraniliprole 20% SC, abamectin 1.8% EC and chlorpyrifos40% EC had effective control to Chilo suppressalis Walker for its excellent control efficacy and long persistence period. Seedling protection efficacies were between84.2%-100%, 90.1% and 92.1%, and insecticidal efficacies were between 84.6%-100%,90.7% and 93.8% 36 days after application of chlorantraniliprole 20% SC in treatments with abamectin 1.8% EC and chlorpyrifos 40% EC for first generation Chilo suppressalis Walker control. The dead panicles were between 0.2%-1.4%, 0.8%and 0.7%, pest plant rate control in 0.4%-2.2%, 1.1% and 0.9%, and the rates of damaged rice plants were between 82.4%-97.6%, 90.2%-91.2% and 91.4%-92.8%,30 days after application of chlorantraniliprole 20% SC, abamectin 1.8% EC and chlorpyrifos 40% EC for the second generation Chilo suppressalis Walker control. It can effectively protect seedlings, protect spike, increase grain number and grain weight, which promoting the increase production income effect. The real estate increased by 9.7%-12.3%, 10.9% and 11.2% than water treatment(CK) with a very significant level, while the incomes were higher than 1 719.19-1 998.22, 1 956.52 and 2 057.83 yuan.展开更多
