The Tibetan Plateau(TP)is a prevalent region for convection systems due to its unique thermodynamic forcing.This study investigated isolated deep convections(IDCs),which have a smaller spatial and temporal size than m...The Tibetan Plateau(TP)is a prevalent region for convection systems due to its unique thermodynamic forcing.This study investigated isolated deep convections(IDCs),which have a smaller spatial and temporal size than mesoscale convective systems(MCSs),over the TP in the rainy season(June-September)during 2001–2020.The authors used satellite precipitation and brightness temperature observations from the Global Precipitation Measurement mission.Results show that IDCs mainly concentrate over the southern TP.The IDC number per rainy season decreases from around 140 over the southern TP to around 10 over the northern TP,with an average 54.2.The initiation time of IDCs exhibits an obvious diurnal cycle,with the peak at 1400–1500 LST and the valley at 0900–1000 LST.Most IDCs last less than five hours and more than half appear for only one hour.IDCs generally have a cold cloud area of 7422.9 km^(2),containing a precipitation area of approximately 65%.The larger the IDC,the larger the fraction of intense precipitation it contains.IDCs contribute approximately 20%–30%to total precipitation and approximately 30%–40%to extreme precipitation over the TP,with a larger percentage in July and August than in June and September.In terms of spatial distribution,IDCs contribute more to both total precipitation and extreme precipitation over the TP compared to the surrounding plain regions.IDCs over the TP account for a larger fraction than MCSs,indicating the important role of IDCs over the region.展开更多

[Method] The application proportion of comple...[Objective] The aim was to reduce fertilizer and water losses caused by surface runoffs in rainy season and provide scientific references for soil moisture in arid season. [Method] The application proportion of complex water-holding organic materials was determined by multi-factor mixture experiment and the curve changes of soil moisture characters were tested to analyze water-holding capacity and water availability of soils. [Result] The initial moisture content of soil with different mixture proportions improved in varying degrees. For example, when water-retention agents reached 0.4% and 0.6% of soil weight, soil moisture contents were 69.0% and70.5%, respectively, which showed significant differences with the control(S0.0). Soil dehydration terms in different treatments all extended, prolonging in the range of4.6-14 d. [Conclusion] The applications of water-retention agent and organic material would improve water-holding capacity of hills and low mountains, and initial moisture content and dehydration cycle tend to be volatile upon mixture proportion. Therefore,it is necessary to adjust soil fertility, crop species, and irrigation to meet crop demands on fertilizer and water.展开更多

The surveys on the COD in the Lingdingyang waters of Pearl River estuary were carried out in May and August of 2002. The results showed that the concentrations of COD in the waters ranged from 0,41 to 2.72 mg·L^-...The surveys on the COD in the Lingdingyang waters of Pearl River estuary were carried out in May and August of 2002. The results showed that the concentrations of COD in the waters ranged from 0,41 to 2.72 mg·L^-1 with an average of 1.21 mg·L^-1.The spatial distributions showed that COD concentration decreased gradually from the north to south of Pearl River estuary, and the concentration near coastal waters was higher than that in offshore waters. The concentration of COD in summer was higher than in spring. Evaluated by the first class (COD ≤ 2 mg·L^-1) of sea water quality standard (Chinese standard), there were about 15 % of COD concentrations over the standard. The concentration of COD showed a positive correlation with the concentration of suspend substances in spring and summer, but in summer it showed a negative correlation with the concentrations of inorganic nitrate and phosphate.展开更多
Ecological efficiency changes of soil moisture were researched in karst areas with different land type uses, including farmland, abandoned farmland (1 y) and shrub land (1 y), sparse wood land (15 y), secondary ...Ecological efficiency changes of soil moisture were researched in karst areas with different land type uses, including farmland, abandoned farmland (1 y) and shrub land (1 y), sparse wood land (15 y), secondary forest (25 y) and the re- sults showed that physical property of soil was not a simple "improvement" process during land type evolution. Specifically, from farmland to secondary forest, the con- tent of topsoils changed from being washed away to accumulation and soil bulk density changed from increasing to decreasing. For example, soil bulk densities of abandoned farmland and shrub land increased by 6.6% and 11.57% compared with farmland, and of sparse wood land and forest land decreased by 5.0% and 10.0%. The change trend of soil bulk density was just in contrary to total porosity. Available water capacity was the lowest of shrub land, but increased in rest land types. The increase tended to be volatile in 5.1%-12.5% of different land types and water-sta- ble aggregate content (〉0.25 mm) reached the highest of sparse wood land. The destruction rate, however, was declining in the process of land type evolution and the increase was in the range of 34.0%-64.7% compared with farmland. The de- struction rate of aggregate was of negative correlation with organic matter. Water- holding capacity was the best of forest land and abandoned farmland and the poor- est of shrub land, close to sparse wood land. Water-supplying capacity from high to low was as follows: farmland〉sparse wood land〉secondary forest〉shrub land〉a- bandoned farmland. It is obvious that water-holding capacity and water-supplying capacity are not consistent, but both are closely related to the content of soil clays, porosity, and aggregate stability.展开更多

[Method] 3 different ratios of composited soils was designed by using feldspathic sandstone and sand by 3 different ratios, 1:1(C1), 1:2(C2) and 1:5(C3), and the CK used loess soil and sand by 1:2, then the soil texture, water storage, soil and winter wheat spectral characteristic were measured and analyzed under those treatments in 2010-2013. [Result] (1) With the increasing of the plant- ing year, treatment C1, C2 and C3 all showed decreasing in the proportions of sand and increasing of silt and the CK showed decreasing of clay and increasing of sand, along 1-30 cm soil depth. Treatment C2 showed the proportion of sand, silt and clay were 76.69%, 18.72% and 4.70%, respectively. (2) The water contents of all the treatments were significant different from other in 0-60 cm soil depth, and showed increasing trend with the increasing of sand proportion. Treatment C2 had higher average water content during the 3 years than treatment CK, C1 and C3 by 21.34%, 11.59% and 3.91% in the same soil depth, respectively. (3) In 2013, the spectral reflection curve characters were similar for all treatment of winter wheat at the jointing stage and filling stage along the full-wave band (350-2 500 nm), and the reflectance was higher in the jointing stage than the filling stage; the reflection peak was found around 550 nm, a part of green light wave band. Treatment C2 showed the highest canopy that all treatments had similar spectral curves, and the relative reflectance of soil increased during 350-1 750 nm wave length along with the increase of the sand proportion; for treatment CK, C1, C2 and C3, the soil spectral reflectance (y) and wave length (x) appeared highly correlated relationships, they were y=0.18 71 In(x)-0.979 4, y=0.158 7 In(x)-0.801 2, y=0.177 1 In(x)-0.910 8 and y=0.184 5 In(x)-0.944 5, respectively. [Conclusion] Synthesizing the soil physical properties and related spectral character indices, treatment C2 generated the best combination ratio of feldspathic sandstone and sand.展开更多
[Objective] The research aimed to analyze the formation reason of groundwater hydrochemical characteristics in the dry valley area of Wadi Bay of Libya and provide the scientific basis for the reasonable development u...[Objective] The research aimed to analyze the formation reason of groundwater hydrochemical characteristics in the dry valley area of Wadi Bay of Libya and provide the scientific basis for the reasonable development utilization and the environmental protection of groundwater.[Method] Took Wadi Bay area(dry valley)of Libya as the example,Piper trilinear graphic representation method,the descriptive statistics,the ion ratio coefficient method and the isotope evidence were used to systematically study the special hydrochemical characteristics of shallow groundwater in the arid climate condition in Wadi Bay area of Libya.[Result] The salt content of groundwater in the area was very high,and TDS was during 3.2-8.4 g/L.The main groundwater type was Cl·SO4-Na·Ca,then was Cl·SO4-Na·Ca·Mg.The concentrations of Cl-,Na+ and SO2-4,etc.in the groundwater in 70 km from the sea had the remarkable variation,but the concentrations of Mn2+,Ba2+,Si2+,NH+4 and NO-3 didn't have the same variation phenomenon.[Conclusion] The hydrochemical characteristics of shallow groundwater didn't relate to the dissolution infiltration reaction,the evaporation concentration effect and human activities.The major cause was the mixing effect of salt and fresh water in the invasion process of seawater.展开更多

[Method] Pot experiments were conducted to investigate the characteristics of lead accumulation in rice aboveground organs and the quantitative relationship between canopy spectral characteristics and plumbum (Pb) concentrations in various rice organs under different lead levels with experimental materials Nanjing 44 and Liangyoupeijiu. [Result] Pb contents in whole plants, stems, leaves and spikes of Nanjing 44 and Liangyoupeijiu were increasing with the raised Pb levels, Pb content was the highest in stems. Significant differences were observed in the wavelength band of red light in canopy reflectance spectra curves under various Pb stress levels. With the increasing of Pb stress level, the strength of spectral reflectance reduced, and the normalized value of reflectance after removing envelopes curved increased. Several types of relationship models between NVDI(x) and Pb con- tent in rice organs were constructed. By comparing the prediction significance of these models, optimal prediction models were constructed for Pb stress remote- sensing monitoring in various organs of Nanjing 44 and Liangyoupeijiu, respectively. Specifically, Pb contents in various organs of Nanjing 44 were defined as: Ywhole-plant= 2 270.4x^2-2 292.8x+577.35, ystem=4 260.9x^2-4 294x+1 077.8, Yleat=2 780.8x^2-2 777.9x+ 690.71, yspike=309.31X^2-306.07X+75.369; while for Liangyoupeijiu, ywhole-plant=524 269e^-25.557x, ystem=1E+07e^-31.65x, yleaf=2E+07e^-34.056x, yspike=14 320e^-21.756x.[Conclusion] The field hyperspectral remote-sensing responded fairly well to Pb stress of rice plants and the stress intensity. Therefore, fast and undamaging probe of Pb pollution of rice could be achieved by the difference analysis of rice canopy spectra.展开更多

The result showed that three rice materials with high contents of resistant starch exhibited low breakdown viscosity and high setback vis- cosity; three rice materials with low contents of resistant starch exhibited high breakdown viscosity and low setback viscosity. Significant differences were observed in RVA eigenvalues and starch crystal thermodynamic properties among rice germplasms with different contents of resistant starch, which provided new indices for breeding functional rice cultivars with high resistant starch content.展开更多

The meltwater runoff is mainly affec...The variations of the meltwater runoff draining from Kartamak Glacier in Mt. Muztag Ata in China were studied by using the measured hydrological data from 1 June to 25 August 2003. The meltwater runoff is mainly affected by ambient temperature and precipitation. Meltwater and precipitation samples were collected from 10 to 23 August 2003. Their pH, EC (electric conductivity) and the major ions (Na^+, K^+, Ca^(2+), Mg^(2+), Cl^-, NO_3^-, SO_~4^(2-)) were determined. pH values showed a positive correlation with EC values for all samples. Meltwater samples were slightly alkaline. Sulfate and calcium were the dominant anion and cation in the measured ions, respectively. All the ion concentrations had inverse relationships with runoff or water level. In order to discuss the origins of dissolved chemical substances in the glacial meltwater, a principal component analysis was carried out. The results showed that water-rock interaction determined the ion components of the meltwater.展开更多

Treatment C2 showed the proportion of sand, silt and clay were 76.69%, 18.72% and 4.70%, respectively. (2) The water contents of all the treatments were significant different from other in 0-60 cm soil depth, and showed increasing trend with the increasing of sand proportion. Treatment C2 had higher average water content during the 3 years than treatment CK, C1 and C3 by 21.34%, 11.59% and 3.91% in the same soil depth, respectively. (3) In 2013, the spectral reflection curve characters were similar for all treatment of winter wheat at the jointing stage and filling stage along the full-wave band (350-2 500 nm), and the reflectance was higher in the jointing stage than the filling stage; the reflection peak was found around 550 nm, a part of green light wave band. Treatment C2 showed the highest canopy that all treatments had similar spectral curves, and the relative reflectance of soil increased during 350-1 750 nm wave length along with the increase of the sand proportion; for treatment CK, C1, C2 and C3, the soil spectral reflectance (y) and wave length (x) appeared highly correlated relationships, they were y=0.18 71 In(x)-0.979 4, y=0.158 7 In(x)-0.801 2, y=0.177 1 In(x)-0.910 8 and y=0.184 5 In(x)-0.944 5, respectively. [Conclusion] Synthesizing the soil physical properties and related spectral character indices, treatment C2 generated the best combination ratio of feldspathic sandstone and sand.

文摘[Objective] The research aimed to analyze the formation reason of groundwater hydrochemical characteristics in the dry valley area of Wadi Bay of Libya and provide the scientific basis for the reasonable development utilization and the environmental protection of groundwater.[Method] Took Wadi Bay area(dry valley)of Libya as the example,Piper trilinear graphic representation method,the descriptive statistics,the ion ratio coefficient method and the isotope evidence were used to systematically study the special hydrochemical characteristics of shallow groundwater in the arid climate condition in Wadi Bay area of Libya.[Result] The salt content of groundwater in the area was very high,and TDS was during 3.2-8.4 g/L.The main groundwater type was Cl·SO4-Na·Ca,then was Cl·SO4-Na·Ca·Mg.The concentrations of Cl-,Na+ and SO2-4,etc.in the groundwater in 70 km from the sea had the remarkable variation,but the concentrations of Mn2+,Ba2+,Si2+,NH+4 and NO-3 didn't have the same variation phenomenon.[Conclusion] The hydrochemical characteristics of shallow groundwater didn't relate to the dissolution infiltration reaction,the evaporation concentration effect and human activities.The major cause was the mixing effect of salt and fresh water in the invasion process of seawater.

文摘[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the characteristics of lead accu- mulation in rice aboveground organs under lead pollution and construct hyperspectral identification models. [Method] Pot experiments were conducted to investigate the characteristics of lead accumulation in rice aboveground organs and the quantitative relationship between canopy spectral characteristics and plumbum (Pb) concentrations in various rice organs under different lead levels with experimental materials Nanjing 44 and Liangyoupeijiu. [Result] Pb contents in whole plants, stems, leaves and spikes of Nanjing 44 and Liangyoupeijiu were increasing with the raised Pb levels, Pb content was the highest in stems. Significant differences were observed in the wavelength band of red light in canopy reflectance spectra curves under various Pb stress levels. With the increasing of Pb stress level, the strength of spectral reflectance reduced, and the normalized value of reflectance after removing envelopes curved increased. Several types of relationship models between NVDI(x) and Pb con- tent in rice organs were constructed. By comparing the prediction significance of these models, optimal prediction models were constructed for Pb stress remote- sensing monitoring in various organs of Nanjing 44 and Liangyoupeijiu, respectively. Specifically, Pb contents in various organs of Nanjing 44 were defined as: Ywhole-plant= 2 270.4x^2-2 292.8x+577.35, ystem=4 260.9x^2-4 294x+1 077.8, Yleat=2 780.8x^2-2 777.9x+ 690.71, yspike=309.31X^2-306.07X+75.369; while for Liangyoupeijiu, ywhole-plant=524 269e^-25.557x, ystem=1E+07e^-31.65x, yleaf=2E+07e^-34.056x, yspike=14 320e^-21.756x.[Conclusion] The field hyperspectral remote-sensing responded fairly well to Pb stress of rice plants and the stress intensity. Therefore, fast and undamaging probe of Pb pollution of rice could be achieved by the difference analysis of rice canopy spectra.
文摘Soil-water characteristic curves of expansive clay are usually measured in the laboratory, but soil suction in the field is extremely difficult and time consuming. The method of artificial neural network (ANN) is adopted to predict soil suction in the field by using measured water contents. This is done by training the network using laboratory measured soil-water characteristics. Prediction soil suction using the ANN with some limited in-situ measured water contents is compared with actual suction measurements in the field. Prediction results are discussed.

文摘[Objective] In order to better meet the requirement of crops on a more and more accurate water content under various planting environment of modern agri-culture, an automatic test system of soil water characteristic curve was designed by combining the conceptions of soil moisture content and soil water potential. [Method] Electronic soil moisture tension meter was used to determine the real-time tension value of soil moisture in the tested container, and the electronic Weigh sensor was used to determine soil Weigh. Minusing method was used to calculate soil moisture content, based on which the soil water characteristic curve was plotted. [Result] Through the filed survey of 2 different kinds of soil in Jiangsu Province, the results were as fol ows: soil of different composition showed different trend in soil water characteristic curve that the soil water characteristic relation of the sandy soil in the old course of the Yel ow River in Xuzhou was Y=-0.000 2X3+0.027 7X2-1.644 5X+38.161, R2=0.991 9; while the soil water characteristic relation of the saline-alkali soil in Jinhai Farm of Dafeng was Y=-0.00 2X2-0.426X+39.905, R2=0.991 3. [Con-clusion] The automatic test system of soil water characteristic curve soil water char-acteristics curve could reflect soil moisture content and soil water potential, as wel as reflect the effectiveness of soil water to plant growth, providing basis for the sci-entific irrigation.

文摘[Objective] The research aimed to study the morphological characteristics and karyotype of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco in Dongting Lake water system.[Method] By using the conventional biological morphometry,PHA and colchicine injection method in vivo,the morphological characteristics and karyotype of P.fulvidraco in Yuanshui River and Lishui River of Dongting Lake were analyzed.[Result] In three ratio traits including standard length/head length,standard length/caudal peduncle depth,head length/snout length,P.fulvidraco of Yuanshui River and Lishui River had significant differences(P0.05).However,the number and karyotype of their chromosomes were same.The chromosome number was 2n = 52,and the karyotype formula was 20M+12SM+10ST+10T.The number of chromosome arm was 84.[Conclusion] The research result had certain theoretical guidance significance for the protection and utilization of wild P.resource in Dongting Lake water system.

文摘This study aimed to compare starch properties among rice germplasms with different contents of resistant starch. Rice germplasms with significant differ- ences in resistant starch content were screened by the rice germplasm resource project team in Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, to analyze the differences in RVA eigenvalues and starch crystal thermodynamic properties using differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The result showed that three rice materials with high contents of resistant starch exhibited low breakdown viscosity and high setback vis- cosity; three rice materials with low contents of resistant starch exhibited high breakdown viscosity and low setback viscosity. Significant differences were observed in RVA eigenvalues and starch crystal thermodynamic properties among rice germplasms with different contents of resistant starch, which provided new indices for breeding functional rice cultivars with high resistant starch content.

文摘Based on the 1961-2010 weather data from 65 meteorological stations in Heilongjiang Province, using the statistic software and GIS, the change characteristics of water budget, including the precipitation, reference evapotranspiration and water budget in the whole year and the temperature-defined growing season, were analyzed. The results indicated that the both the precipitation during the whole year and that of during the temperature-defined growing season from 1961 to 2010 all decreased, while the annual reference evapotranspiration decreased, but the reference evapotranspiration during the temperature-defined growing season presented an increasing trend. The water resources were generally characterized by water deficit, especially in the beginning of 21 st .

文摘In the study, waterfront street in Honggutan was researched by field investigation and questionnaire survey from space, transport, scale and human activity. The waterfront street has the following characters: ambiguous spatial structure, a lack of spatial design; a lack of business diversity, and over-scaled street space. The scale of waterfront space is amenity, diversified and hydrophilic property. We analyzed and performed a parallel comparison on waterfront street space to help improve Honggutan waterfront street by analyzing its design principles, and taking references from outstanding cases at home and abroad.

文摘The variations of the meltwater runoff draining from Kartamak Glacier in Mt. Muztag Ata in China were studied by using the measured hydrological data from 1 June to 25 August 2003. The meltwater runoff is mainly affected by ambient temperature and precipitation. Meltwater and precipitation samples were collected from 10 to 23 August 2003. Their pH, EC (electric conductivity) and the major ions (Na^+, K^+, Ca^(2+), Mg^(2+), Cl^-, NO_3^-, SO_~4^(2-)) were determined. pH values showed a positive correlation with EC values for all samples. Meltwater samples were slightly alkaline. Sulfate and calcium were the dominant anion and cation in the measured ions, respectively. All the ion concentrations had inverse relationships with runoff or water level. In order to discuss the origins of dissolved chemical substances in the glacial meltwater, a principal component analysis was carried out. The results showed that water-rock interaction determined the ion components of the meltwater.
