区域水均衡模型LASCAM在银川平原的应用研究

LASCAM,作为一个概念水文模型,是由西澳大利亚水文局和水资源研究中心在西澳大学联合进行开发的,项目的目标是针对西澳大利亚西南部的土地利用和气候变化,开发出能预测大的水文反应和异质流域水量与盐份的模型,包括沉积物和营养物运移模型。将这一模型应用到中国西北宁夏干旱的银川平原流域,建立了地表水水均衡概念模型,量化了流域内地表水的运移过程,将流域内不同地点观测值和模型预报进行比较。结果证明,在干旱的银川平原流域,使用LASCAM建立大的水文响应模型是可行的,并能很好的预报水量。这将为下一步做盐份、沉积物和营养物模型奠定基础,为查明灌区引排水盐量的衰减和集聚及其动态变化状况,正确认识引黄灌溉产生的水盐循环和演化规律提供科学依据。 展开更多

Intense human activities have greatly changed the flood generation conditions in most areas of the world, and have destroyed the consistency in the annual flood peak and volume series. For design flood estimation, coaxial correlation diagram and conceptual hydrological model are two frequently used tools to adjust and reconstruct the flood series under human disturbance. This study took a typical mountain catchment of the Haihe River Basin as an example to investigate the effects of human activities on flood regime and to compare and assess the two adjustment methods. The main purpose is to construct a conceptual hydrological model which can incorporate the effects of human activities. The results show that the coaxial correlation diagram is simple and widely-used, but can only adjust the time series of total flood volumes. Therefore, it is only applicable under certain conditions(e.g. There is a strong link between the flood peaks and volumes and the link is not significantly affected by human activities). The conceptual model is a powerful tool to adjust the time series of both flood peak flows and flood volumes over different durations provided that it is closely related to the catchment hydrological characteristics, specifically accounting for the effects of human activities, and incorporating expert knowledge when estimating or calibrating parameters. It is suggested that the two methods should be used together to cross check each other. 展开更多

A conceptual model for the Calera Aquifer has been created to represent the aquifer system beneath the Calera Aquifer Region (CAR) in the State of Zacatecas, Mexico. The CAR area was uniformly partitioned into a 500 x 500 m grid generating a high resolution model that represented the natural boundaries of the aquifer. A computer model was calibrated and validated to verify output from the model corresponding to situations that matched the historical aquifer performance. Predicted groundwater levels were compared with measured data collected from nine observation wells between 1954 and 2004 to evaluate model performance. The main objective of this study was to develop and evaluate a groundwater modeling system using ModFlow-2000 for the CAR. Performance statistics indicated that the model performed well in simulating historic groundwater levels in the central part of the CAR where irrigated agriculture was concentrated. Results evaluation yielded average coefficients of determination of 0.81 and 0.67 and root mean square error values lower than 25.1 m and 25.9 m for the calibration and validation processes, respectively. These results are indicative of a good agreement between predicted and observed groundwater levels. However, further improvements in the conceptual model may be needed to improve predictions in other parts of the CAR for evaluating alternative groundwater management strategies. 展开更多

The authors analyzed requirements for a new deepwater platform, from conceptual design to hydrodynamic analysis.The design incorporated Deep Draft Multi-Spar (DDMS) that allowed easy fabrication, reduced costs, and provided favorable motion performance.It also provided a dry tree system and other benefits.The conceptual design process included dimension estimation, general arrangements, weight estimation, weight distribution, stability analysis, etc.A high order boundary element method based on potential theory and the modified Morison equation was used to predict the hydrodynamic and viscous effects of this new concept platform.The response amplitude operators (RAOs) were acquired and compared with those of a typical Truss Spar.The response of the platform to the JONSWAP spectra of 3 different extreme ocean conditions was analyzed to evaluate the seakeeping ability of the new concept.The results revealed favorable motion performance due to all the degrees of freedom available. 展开更多

Water repellency(WR) is a phenomenon known from many soils around the world and can occur in arid as well as in humid climates;few studies,however,have examined the effect of soil WR on the soil-plant-atmosphere energy balance.The aim of our study was to estimate the effects of soil WR on the calculated soil-atmosphere energy balance,using a solely model-based approach.We made out evapotranspiration to have the largest influence on the energy balance;therefore the effect of WR on actual evapotranspiration was assessed.To achieve this we used climate data and measured soil hydraulic properties of a potentially water-repellent sandy soil from a site near Berlin,Germany.A numerical 1D soil water balance model in which WR was incorporated in a straightforward way was applied,using the effective cross section concept.Simulations were carried out with vegetated soil and bare soil.The simulation results showed a reduction in evapotranspiration of 30-300 mm year^(-1)(9%-76%) at different degrees of WR compared to completely wettable soil,depending on the severity degree of soil WR.The energy that is not being transported away by water vapor(i.e.,due to reduced evapotranspiration) had to be transformed into other parts of the energy balance and thus would influence the local climate. 展开更多
