长江澄通河段通州沙西水道整治工程对分流比影响研究 被引量:15

为增加长江澄通河段沿江深水岸线资源,拟进行通州沙西水道整治工程,主要包括边滩圈围工程、洲头潜堤工程、西水道疏浚工程。利用一二维耦合潮流数学模型,模拟计算不同整治方案实施前后的汊道分流比,分析研究工程对通州沙河段的影响。研... 为增加长江澄通河段沿江深水岸线资源,拟进行通州沙西水道整治工程,主要包括边滩圈围工程、洲头潜堤工程、西水道疏浚工程。利用一二维耦合潮流数学模型,模拟计算不同整治方案实施前后的汊道分流比,分析研究工程对通州沙河段的影响。研究结果表明:边滩圈围和潜堤工程、西水道航道疏浚工程、上游径流条件等都将影响通州沙西水道的分流比;仅仅实施边滩圈围和潜堤工程,将减少西水道分流比,而疏浚工程将使西水道分流比有所增加;整治工程实施后,通州沙河段分流比的改变程度主要取决于西水道的疏浚深度,因此,为维持该河段河势稳定应慎重选择西水道的疏浚尺度。 展开更多

人们常说长江是“黄金水道”,其实,如果仅从航运的角度来考虑,一年中起码有1/3的时间不那么尽然。上游滩多流急。每逢枯水,中、下游浅滩不下于20余处。在浩浩荡荡的长江上,中游最浅水深不足3m,下游的分河段不到4m。虽然沿江不少城市都... 人们常说长江是“黄金水道”,其实,如果仅从航运的角度来考虑,一年中起码有1/3的时间不那么尽然。上游滩多流急。每逢枯水,中、下游浅滩不下于20余处。在浩浩荡荡的长江上,中游最浅水深不足3m,下游的分河段不到4m。虽然沿江不少城市都兴建了外贸码头并相继对外轮开放,而实际上,对于某些河段来说,哪怕是最小吨位的外轮,一年中也只有一半时间能够航行。由于河道的自然冲淤变化,中下游一些河段上出现了“30年河东,40年河西”左右摆动达10km的现象。凡此种种,都对长江航运乃至长江流域的经济发展带来不利影响。 展开更多

Flood Risk Mitigation in the Tisza Valley by Deep Floodplain Reservoirs: The Effect on the Land Use

The actual situation of the Tisza Valley traditionally used for land farming is basically determined by the consequences of the river regulation of the nineteenth century which aimed at the extension of the intensive agriculture, by the extreme water regime of alternating periods of flood showing a deteriorating trend and drought related to the climatic change; and by several environmental problems induced mainly by the land use. The objective of the article is to prove the regional advantages of a proposed technical solution to mitigate the flood risk with a special regard to the land cover. Hydrodynamic modeling results prove that the best technical solution is given by a combination of different strategies containing the inundation of deep floodplains-areas regularly covered by water before the river regulation works and, globally, by an important mitigation of flood damages, the costs of solution would be surely covered in the longterm. By means of its natural-resembling operation, the regular water cover would allow a multiple use of water, contributing to the solution of the simultaneously existing aridity problem, and, the development of the floodplain landscape management would help improve the ecological and the economical upgrading of the region. 展开更多

The Jingjiang Reach is experiencing continuous channel degradation owing to operation of the Three Gorges Project (TGP) in 2003. Significant retreat processes at composite riverbanks have occurred at local sites of this reach, which may influence the stability of the fiver regime and the effect of existing river training works. Therefore, bank retreat plays a key role in fluvial processes of the Jingjiang Reach, and it is necessary to predict the long-term processes of bank retreat at typical sections in the reach. In this study, various factors influencing bank retreat in the Jingjiang Reach are investigated, based on bank erosion processes at four sections and the corresponding flow and sediment conditions. It is discovered that fluvial erosion intensity is a dominant factor in controlling the processes of bank retreat in the reach, although other factors, such as bank soil properties, can also influence bank retreat. The bankfull width at a section with severe bank erosion since 2002 is defined as being equal to the sum of the bankfull width in 2002 and the accumulated bank retreat distance after 2002. The magnitude of the bankfull width can be expressed as an exponential function of the previous 5-year average fluvial erosion intensity during flood seasons. The accumulated distances of bank retreat at four sections over the period 2002-2012 are predicted using the proposed empirical relationships, with the calculated bank retreat processes agreeing well with observed data. 展开更多
