The morphological structure...Two water soluble acryl terpolymers containing polyvinyl alcohol, acrylamide/acrylic acid and vinyl sulphonic acid (VSA) were synthesized by free radical polymerization in aqueous medium. The morphological structure of the polymers were analysed using FTIR and 1H NMR, while the thermal properties were analysed by TGA and DSC. The inhibitive action of the terpolymers on corrosion of mid-steel in 1 mol. L- 1 HCI was studied using gravimetric, potentiodynamic polarisation and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) at 303 K. Both the polymers provided inhibition efficiency around 90% which clearly demonstrate that the grafted poly- mers have effective corrosion inhibiting ability on MS corrosion.展开更多

The effects of solution p H value, temperature and adsorption time were investigated. The maximum adsorption capacity of Ni(II) on PGMA-IDA/CFs is 0.923 mmol·L-1· g-1at pH 5.2 and 50 °C. Kinetic data indicate that the adsorption process matches the pseudo-second-order model and Elovich kinetic model. A 3×3 factorial experiment was conducted to determine the effects of water temperature (22 ℃, 27℃ and 32℃) and dietary carbohydrate (CBH) levels (15.47%, 29.15% and 41.00%) on growth, food consumption, feed ef...A 3×3 factorial experiment was conducted to determine the effects of water temperature (22 ℃, 27℃ and 32℃) and dietary carbohydrate (CBH) levels (15.47%, 29.15% and 41.00%) on growth, food consumption, feed efficiency, apparent digestibility coefficient and energy budget of juvenile Lito- penaeus vannamei. The results showed that, at each dietary CBH level, specific growth rate, food con- sumption and apparent digestibility coefficient generally increased, while feed efficiency decreased with increasing water temperatures. Specific growth rate and food consumption were the highest in the shrimps fed with diet of 29.15% CBH, closely followed by those with 15.47% CBH, and those with 41.00% CBH had the lowest value.展开更多

[Method] By difference method with different amount of alternative feeds (20% -50%), two4 x4 Latin- square-designed trials were taken on eight castrated male pigs [ Yorkshire x Landrace x Neijiang pig, initial body-weight: (46 ±2) kg ] to deter- mine the apparent digestible energy (ADE) of the eight kinds of plant protein supplement commonly used in China, that is, corn gluten meal (sol.), soybean meal ( sol. ), fababean, pea, rapeseed meal ( sol. ), sesame meal ( sol. ), rapeseed meal ( exp. ) and cotton seed meal (sol.). [Resultl (1) Fiber was the most important factor to estimate the ADE of plant protein supplement in pigs, and ADF was the best one. In this report, we first developed a highly efficient ultrafine TiO2 nanorods/g-C3N4 nanosheets (TiO2 NR/CN NS) composites via ...Photocatalysis is considered to be a clean, green and efficient method to purify water. In this report, we first developed a highly efficient ultrafine TiO2 nanorods/g-C3N4 nanosheets (TiO2 NR/CN NS) composites via a simple hydrothermal method. Tiny TiO2 nanorods (diameter: ~1.5 nm and length: ~8.3 nm) were first loaded in situ on the CN NS by adding graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) to the reaction solution. The TiO2 NR/CN NS composites present high charge separation efficiency and broader light absorbance than P25 TiO2. Furthermore, we illustrate that the TiO2 NR/CN NS catalyst possesses high performance for the photocatalytic degradation of the common and stubborn pollutants in water, such as the rhodamine B (RhB) dye and phenol. Under visible light (λ 〉 420 nm) irradiation, the apparent rate of the TiO2 NR/CN NR is 172 and 41 times higher than that of the P25 TiO2 and TiO2 NR, respectively. Additionally, we speculated that the heterojunction formed between TiO2 NR and CN NS, which is the basis for the experiments we have designed and the corresponding results. We demonstrated that reactive oxidative species such as superoxide anion radical and holes play critical roles in the degradation, and the hydroxyl radical contributes nothing to the degradation.展开更多

So the paper detailed descript a novel MWCNTs good dispersion of PMAA/MWCNTs nano hybrid hydrogels. The introduction of MWCNTs significantly increased the hydrogel pH response and mechanical strength, and depends on the MWCNTs component ratio, particle size and concentration of cross-linking agent. The study found, swelling rate of hybrid hydrogels was faster than the pure PMAA hydrogel, and the swelling behavior were explained. The compression stress-strain experiments should be found, MWCNTs load transfer plays an important role in improving the mechanical properties of the hybrid hydrogels network compression.展开更多
