It presents an analysis of the people＇s perspective on dismissed monarchy and challenges faced by Nepal. There was little voice on Nepali monarchy system, yet many individuals and researcher expressed the need for monarchy to build nation and keep its culture, tradition, and nation unity. To promote the democratic system, political parties should practice democratic norms and respect rules of law in real life rather than just in talk. For the express of people voice and envision prosperous Nepal, this paper attempts to contribute to the need of monarchy back in Nepal far its savereignty and unity. The paper gives a historical overview of kingship in Nepal and discusses incompetent political parties and the importance of monarchy in Nepal. It identifies that to unite the Nepal and Nepali and give the nation social cultural identity, and it needs any form of monarchy in Nepal. The past and present, despite of political systems, social movement, and practice seen from the political parties were failed several times to fulfill people＇s mandate, such as holding election, writing constitution. The fields discussed in the paper include apathetic attitude of the political parties toward establishing peace and stability in Nepal.展开更多

To control these vibrations,we improved the energy balance method in the following aspects:the wind power input,the conduct...Long span ultra-high voltage(UHV) transmission lines have serious aeolian vibration problems. To control these vibrations,we improved the energy balance method in the following aspects:the wind power input,the conductor self-damping,and the damper dissipated power. Meanwhile,we built a theoretical mechanical model of β wire dampers and derived energy dissipation calculation formulae. This permits the vibration energy dissipated by β wire dampers can be considered in the energy balance method. Then,we developed a computer program based on the improved energy balance method using Matlab,and analyzed UHV long span ground wires of the Han River long span project in P. R. China. The results show that the combination of β wire dampers and Stockbridge dampers can reduce vibration of UHV long span transmission lines,which provides a reference for research and construction of UHV engineering projects.展开更多

Study of this fictional work has long been a point of focus for scholars of...xi You di （＂The Journey to the West＂）, popularly known as The Monkey, is one of the most important works of classical Chinese literature. Study of this fictional work has long been a point of focus for scholars of Chinese studies. To understand the origins of this sophisticated work, scholars have examined almost every detail of the extant textual evidence created before the final one-hundredvolume version of the story. This article introduces and analyzes the newly available pictorial representations of the story found in the Anxi caves and other visual materials which were made before the emergence of the one-hundred-volume Xi You Ji in the late sixteenth century during the Ming Dynasty. My study intends to reconstruct a visual tradition in its formation, and to examine the relationship between the visual tradition and the oral and textualtraditions. Particular attention is called to the contributions of minority cultures, including the Liao and Xixia cultures, in the formation of this classical work of Han Chinese literature.展开更多
