为考察连续回流净水厂生产废水对出水水质的影响,采用中试实验模型,研究东北地区夏冬两季连续回流净水厂生产废水14 d的水质变化规律.夏季沉淀池污泥和反冲洗水最佳回流比分别为4%和6%,冬季为2%和6%.在满足沉后水出水浊度达标(<2.5 N... 为考察连续回流净水厂生产废水对出水水质的影响,采用中试实验模型,研究东北地区夏冬两季连续回流净水厂生产废水14 d的水质变化规律.夏季沉淀池污泥和反冲洗水最佳回流比分别为4%和6%,冬季为2%和6%.在满足沉后水出水浊度达标(<2.5 NTU)的前提下,夏、冬两季废水连续直接回流工艺与不回用相比,可分别节约33.3%和18.2%的混凝剂投加量.在整个回流运行周期中,连续监测浊度、色度、UV254、TOC等出水水质指标,结果表明,与不回流相比,回流工艺可以有效提高污染物的去除,而且,较高温度时还可以提高污染物的去除率.在连续回流过程中,出水水质稳定,未发现明显的污染物富集现象.废水回流是强化混凝过程的有效方法. 展开更多

Sedimentation tanks and clarifiers play a significant role in an active sludge system, and the efficiency of the whole system is closely related with the design and operation of the sedimentation tanks. This paper focuses on the sludge concentration in each cross-section of the sedimentation tank. We measured the sludge concentration to explore its distribution inside the tank, carried in-situ tests to research the fluid pattern and real operational rules of the sedimentation tank. We also used the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software, PHOENICS 3.5, to simulate the solid-liquid two-phase fluid inside the tank and describe the sludge concentration distribution. The numerical results indicate obviously a sludge-water interface and a compression interface inside the sedimentation tank, a stratified sedimentary region with uniform concentration and a compression region with high concentration at the bottom of the tank. Although the simulated concentrations deviated slightly from those of in-situ tests, they were still acceptable for identifying the sludge interfaces and fluid pattern inside a sedimentation tank, which are important parameters for optimizing the tank size and improving the settling efficiency. 展开更多

The wastes used to amend soils sometimes have high concentrations of metals such as nickel(Ni), lead(Pb) and zinc(Zn). To determine the capacity of soils to retain these metals, the sorption capacities of different mine soils with and without reclamation treatments(tree vegetation and waste amendment) for Ni, Pb and Zn in individual and competitive situations were evaluated using the batch sorption technique. The untreated settling pond soil had low capacity for Ni, Pb and Zn retention. The site amended with wastes(sewage sludges and paper mill residues) increased the sorption capacity most, probably because of the higher concentrations of soil components with high retention capacity such as carbon and clay fraction. No significant competition was observed between metals in the competitive sorption experiment, indicating that the maximum of sorption was not achieved by adding 0.5 mmol L^(-1) of metal. We can conclude that, despite the possible additions of Ni, Pb and Zn from wastes to degraded soils, sewage sludges and paper mill residues have a high sorption capacity that would prevent the metals from being in a mobile form. 展开更多
