The safe operation of this river is vital for regional economic development. By analyzing underwater topography data from 2004 to 2020, this study investigates the characteristics of the river regime evolution of Lanlu Port. The study reveals that since 2004, the river has shown a continuous scouring trend, particularly severe in the upstream Dianfeng section and the downstream Xietang section, with significant increases in riverbed depth. The Mike21 two-dimensional hydrodynamic model was used to numerically simulate and analyze the flow patterns of the river under different flow conditions. The results indicate that the scouring is most pronounced during the high tide periods of wet years. This study identifies high-risk bank sections of the river and proposes scientific renovation suggestions, including strengthening embankments, widening the river, and adopting ecological bank protection measures. These recommendations aim to enhance the flood control and drainage capacity and the navigation function of Lanlu Port, ensuring its safe operation and the sustainable development of the region. The findings also provide references and guidance for the safety management and embankment construction of tidal river network areas of a similar type.展开更多
