The effect of SiO2 concentration in sodium silicate, pH value and polymerization was investigated. The new silica sol binder, which possessed abundant pore volume and suitable acid amount, was an ideal component for preparing cracking catalyst. As a result, the corresponding catalyst comprising the new binder showed excellent performance. Compared with the reference sample, the liquefied petroleum gas(LPG) and propylene yield obtained over this catalyst increased by 3.49 and 1.20 percentage points, respectively. The perfect pore structure and suitable Lewis acid amount of new silica sol were the possible reason leading to its outstanding performance.展开更多

Data of 57 wells from Shentuo 21 block Shengli oilfield was analyzed by using the model. Four kinds of formation groups were gained. According to the analysis result, different adjustment solutions were put forward to develop the relevant formations. The Monthly oil production increased 7.6 % and the water cut decreased 8.9 % after the adjusted solutions. Good results indicate that the learning from this method gained will be valuable adding to other long-term waterflooding sand reservoirs in Shengli oilfield and other similar reservoirs worldwide.展开更多

The pore structure of the tight limestone is studied by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), nitrogen adsorption, high-pressure mercury intrusion, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The experimental results suggest that the pores are mainly slit pores and mesopores and macropores contribute to the pore volume and specific surface. The displacement pressure, average pore size, and homogeneity coefficient correlate with porosity and permeability and can be used to evaluate the pore structure. The full pore-size distribution was obtained by combining nitrogen adsorption and high-pressure mercury intrusion. We find that the limestone mainly contains mesopores with diameter of 2-50 nm. The T2 distribution was converted into pore-size distribution, well matching the full pore-size distribution. The relation between T2 and pore size obeys a power law and the geometric mean of T2 correlates with the pore structure and can be used in the pore structure evaluation.展开更多

The pore pressure around the wellbore happens to change variously as the fracturing fluid entering the pay zone. The change of pore pressure affects the stress-state and the fracturing pressure around the wellbore. In this paper, a new concept of the effective membrane pressure coefficient is presented according to the wall building capacity of the fracturing fluid, then the change of pore pressure around the wellbore is studied, and it is proven that the prediction model for fracturing pressure is improved.展开更多
