And further analysis indicated that phase changes occurred during the heat recovery process. In such case, the feed stream was divided into two streams: the liquid feed stream and the gaseous feed stream. Through calculation, the optimal ATmin was established at 26℃, and the total cost of heat exchange process was only $1.098× 106. By using the Problem Table Algorithm for pinch analysis, the temperature of the hot and the cold steams was 119℃ and 93 ℃, respectively. At a temperature higher than 119 ℃, all heat of the hot stream could not be cooled by the condenser, and the minimum heat load of utility (QH.min) was 440457.64 kW; and at a temperature below 93 ℃, all heat of the cold stream could not be provided by the heater, and the minimum cold load of utility (QC.min) was 1965993.85 kW. Finally, the synthesis of heat exchanger network was established through integrating two heat exchanger networks.展开更多

Though the maximum operating temperature of conventional lubricating oils is generally set around 100 ℃, or 140 ℃ for scavenged oils, it is predicted that the future will require oils to function at 200 ℃ or above. To find a clue to developing oils that can be used at higher temperatures, this study attempted to estimate service lives and operating temperature ranges of certain oils, including oils conforming to MIL-PRF-23699, which are deemed promising candidates for high-temperature applications, by analyzing their reaction rates of degradation and degeneration by oxidation. Among a number of methods used in the analyses of reaction rates, this study chose thermo-gravimetry (TG), with which estimations can be made relatively easily.展开更多

[Method] A B. juncea TGMS line K121S was selected as the experimental material. The total RNAs were isolated from fertile and sterile pollens at different development stages, including mother cell stage, tetrad stage, tricellular pollen stage and maturity stage. DDRT-PCR was carried out to identify differentially expressed genes. [Result] A total of 44 differentially expressed cDNA fragments were identified with Dot blot. And seven candidate genes related to fertility conversion of K121S were screened out by BLASTN, including callose synthase gene, aldehyde dehydrogenase gene and RNA polymerase I transcription factor RRN3 gene which were differentially expressed at the transcriptional level, H'-ATPase gene, fructose diphosphate aldolase -class I gene, teucine-rich repeat receptor-Jike serine/threonine- protein kinase gene and alkaline/neutral invertase gene, which were differentially expressed at the post-transcriptional level. [Conclusion] The results of this study will help to explain the molecular mechanism of thermo-sensitive genic male sterility of B. juncea.展开更多
