Occurrence Rule and Forecast Method of Cotton Aphid in Poyang Lake Area in Jiujiang City

[Objective] The aim was to explore occurrence rules and forecast methods of cotton aphid in Poyang Lake Area in Jiujiang City to enrich prediction methods of cotton aphid in the area. [Method] The occurrence rules and influencing factors of cotton aphid in Pengze County in 28 years were analyzed with comparative analysis, correlation analysis and wavelet analysis. Furthermore, a long-term forecast model of occurrence grade of cotton aphid and a short-term forecast model of weather condi- tion suitability were established based on stepwise regression. In addition, a forecast test was conducted in cotton area in the north of Poyang Lake. [Result] The wavelet analysis showed that in recent 28 years, oscillating period at 4 years was significant for the occurrence grade of cotton aphid in the north of Poyang Lake, but insignifi- cant for cotton at seedling stage. The comparative and correlation analyses suggest- ed that occurrence of cotton aphid is of significant correlation with winter climate and weather conditions at middle and short periods. The prediction test indicated that long-term forecast model of occurrence grade of cotton aphid and short-term forecast model of weather condition suitability based on stepwise regression can be made use of in the areas with similar climate. [Conclusion] The research provides theoreti- cal references for prevention against cotton aphid in cotton-planting area. 展开更多

In order to study the propagation law of shock waves and gas flow during coal and gas outburst,we analyzed the formation process of outburst shock waves and gas flow and established the numerical simulation models of the roadways with 45°intersection and 135°intersection to simulate the propagation of outburst gas flow and the process of gas transport.Based on the analysis of the simulation results,we obtained the qualitative and quantitative conclusions on the characteristics and patterns of propagation and attenuation of outburst shock waves and gas flow.With the experimental models,we investigated the outburst shock waves and gas flow in the roadways with the similar structures to the simulated ones.According to the simulation results,when the angle between the driving roadway and the adjacent roadway increased,the sudden pressure variation range in adjacent roadway and the influencing scope of gas flow increased and the sudden pressure variation duration decreased.The intersection between the driving roadway and the adjacent roadway has no effect on airflow reversal induced by the shock waves and gas flow. 展开更多

Behavioral Aspects in Obligatory Reports of Public Hospitals in Poland

The health care sector is the most difficult one to manage and control. Special units in this field are public hospitals which are required to prepare a lot of reports to various institutions, including the ownership body. The paper focuses on two issues. The first is the presence of behavioral factors in the reporting of public hospitals in Poland to the ownership bodies. This article aims to indicate the thematic areas of specific reports, most affected by behavioral factors and explain the causes and consequences of their occurrence. The second issue is the analysis of the legal status of obligatory reporting of public hospitals. Participants of the conducted research, due to their specific ownership and political and social position, were public hospitals in Poland. The paper uses the research methods of the meta-analysis of the literature, legal acts in Poland and empirical materials, and also the methods of synthesis, observation, and deduction. Data analysis focused on specific sample of reports issued by Polish public hospitals for their ownership body. The research shows that hospitals draw up a tremendous number of often thematically overlapping and redundant reports addressed to different institutions in different time periods. It is a consequence of legal regulations failing to streamline the reporting of the health care sector institutions, in particular public hospitals. The paper points to the large number of legal instruments that contain imprecise requirements resulting from the complex and obscure forms of control of public funds allocation in this sector. There are many behavioral factors that shape some fields of public hospitals' reports, for example, interpersonal relationships, egoism, private financial interests, strengthening of the employment status and professional position, and professional competences. There is considerable freedom in the reporting process fulfilled by public hospitals in Poland for their ownership body. It causes strong consequences, like poor-quality data, duplication of information, and its chaos, as well as high costs of obtaining information. We measured two-dimensional instantaneous velocity field in turbulent boundary layers of flat plate with the momentum thickness Reynolds number Reθ=2 167. Scaling laws have different forms in different wall distance and scale. We proposed an expected scaling law and compared it with the She-Leveque (SL) scaling law based on the wavelet analysis and traditional statistical methods. For the detection of underwater target echo under strong interferences,the modulation feature of direct echo signal and reverberation spectrum are characterized by the signal spectral irregularity feature,and the relationship between signal spectral irregularity and target physical properties is theoretically formed.A novel method of broadband underwater target echo detection under reverberation based on the signal spectral irregularity characteristics is proposed.The proposed method has the capability of discriminating between the direct target echo signal from reverberation.Simulation results of complex underwater target broadband acoustic scattering show that the echo can be detected even with the signal to reverberation ratio(SRR)below-10 dB by the proposed method based on the spectral irregularity(SI)feature.The corresponding sea experimental results also show that echo can be detected when the SRR is below 0 dB.The effectiveness and correctness of the proposed method are verified both in simulated data and in real data in sea experiment. 展开更多

It points out the unknowns which the practices of the courts in the Federation of Bill have not yet completely resolved, and are related to the applicability of the new rules adopted by the Law on Protection and Treatment of Children and Juveniles in Criminal Proceedings of the Federation of Bill. Also, it presents a set of legal rules that regulate criminal proceedings against juveniles within the Federation of Bill, with a special emphasis on the basic characteristics of this process. In order to remove these two major source of noises, we have used the recent powerful DWT (discrete wavelet transform) signal processing in ECG signals which are obtained from MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database. The results indicate that DWT is a good method for filtering noises without changing the morphology of ECG, and can be applied to all types of ECG signals, whether normal or presenting arrhythmias. 展开更多
