The transfer function of the filter was analyzed and gain compensation voltages were given through tests; besides, a system was designed, including the gain compensation circuit and the control voltage circuit, etc. Center frequency will change from 1 kHz to 20 kHz according to control voltage on condition that bandwidth of the filter remains constant. The designed system has the advantages of simple structure, low noise, stable performance and convenient adjustment.展开更多

Unlike the conventional schemes, the proposed scheme-based APF can compensate both the odd and the even order harmonics in grid. The detailed design criteria and the stability analysis of the proposed hybrid current controller are presented. Moreover, an improved structure which incorporates the proposed hybrid controller and the resonant controller for tracking specific order harmonics is given. The relationships between the resonant controller and different repetitive control schemes are discussed. Experimental results verify the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed hybrid control scheme.展开更多

Traditio...We propose a new method for robust adaptive backstepping control of nonlinear systems with parametric uncertainties and disturbances in the strict feedback form. The method is called dynamic surface control. Traditional backstepping algorithms require repeated differentiations of the modelled nonlinearities. The addition of n first order low pass filters allows the algorithm to be implemented without differentiating any model nonlinearities, thus ending the complexity arising due to the 'explosion of terms' that makes other methods difficult to implement in practice. The combined robust adaptive backstepping/first order filter system is proved to be semiglobally asymptotically stable for sufficiently fast filters by a singular perturbation approach. The simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the controller designed by the method.展开更多

A novel current-limited transconductor and feed-forward differential peak detector have been designed to maintain a high compression ratio and fast response for the AGC with lower power consumption. A storage unit with a zero and a feed-forward structure have been introduced into the peak detector to control the damping characteristic of the AGC loop. A rectifier and low-pass filter included in the ASK detector have been integrated into a more compact structure to further lower the power consumption. The circuit configuration is constituted of input cycloconverter, high frequency transformer, output cycloconverter, input and output filters. The circuit topologic family includes eight circuit topologies, such as full-bridge-full-wave mode, etc. The bi-polarity phase-shifted control strategy and steady principles are thoroughly investigated. The output characteristics are obtained. By using the bi-polarity phase-shifted control strategy with phase-shifted control between the output cycloconveter and the input cycloconverter, commutation overlap period of the output cycloconverter, and polarity selection of the output filtering inductance current and the input voltage, the leakage inductance energy and the output filtering inductance current are naturally commutated, and surge voltage and surge current of the cycloconverters are overcome. The converters have such advantages as simple topology, two-stage power conversions(LFAC/HFAC/LFAC), bi-directional power flow, high frequency electrical isolation, good output waveforms, and strong ability to stabilize voltage. The converters lay key technical foundation on a new-type of regulated sinusoidal AC power supplies and electronic transformers. This VCO is de...A monolithic voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) based on negative resistance principle is presented uti-lizing commercially available InGaP/GaAs hetero-junction bipolar transistor (HBT) technology. This VCO is de-signed for 5GHz-band wireless applications. Except for bypass and decoupled capacitors,no external component is needed for real application. Its measured output frequency range is from 4.17 to 4.56GHz,which is very close to the simulation one. And the phase noise at an offset frequency of 1MHz is -112dBc/Hz. The VCO core dissipates 15.5mW from a 3.3V supply,and the output power ranges from 0 to 2dBm. To compare with other oscillators,the figure of merit is calculated,which is about -173.2dBc/Hz. Meanwhile, the principle and design method of nega-tive resistance oscillator are also discussed.展开更多

First, the characteristics of EBPSK modulated signals and the special filtering mechanism of the impacting filter are demonstrated. Secondly, an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm based on the logistic chaos disturbance operator and the Cauchy mutation operator is proposed, and the EBPSK detector is designed by utilizing the IMPSO-BP neural network. Finally, the simulation of the EBPSK detector based on the MPSO-BP neural network is conducted and the result is compared with that of the adaptive threshold-based decision, the BP neural network, and the PSO-BP detector, respectively. Simulation results show that the detection performance of the EBPSK detector based on the IMPSO-BP neural network is better than those of the other three detectors.展开更多
The self-excited vibration problems of maglev vehicle-bridge interaction system were addressed, which greatly degrades the stability of the levitation control, decreases the ride comfort, and restricts the cost of the...The self-excited vibration problems of maglev vehicle-bridge interaction system were addressed, which greatly degrades the stability of the levitation control, decreases the ride comfort, and restricts the cost of the whole system. Firstly, the coupled model containing the quintessential parts was built, and the mechanism of self-excited vibration was explained in terms of energy transmission from levitation system to bridge. Then, the influences of the parameters of the widely used integral-type proportion and derivation(PD) controller and the delay of signals on the stability of the interaction system were analyzed. The result shows that the integral-type PD control is a nonoptimal approach to solve the self-excited vibration completely. Furthermore, the differential-type PD controller can guarantee the passivity of levitation system at full band. However, the differentiation of levitation gap should be filtered by a low-pass filter due to noise of gap differentiation. The analysis indicates that a well tuned low-pass filter can still keep the coupled system stable.展开更多

Then, aiming at the conditions that large initial estimation errors and non-Gaussian distribution of state or measurement errors may exist in orbit determination process of the two phases, UPF (unscented particle filter) is introduced into the navigation schemes. By tackling nonlinear and non-Gaussian problems, UPF overcomes the accuracy influence brought by the traditional EKF (extended Kalman filter), UKF (unscented Kalman filter), and PF (particle filter) schemes in approximate treatment to nonlinear and non-Gaussian state model and measurement model. The theoretical deduction of a space vector PWM (SVPWM) algorithm is given in this paper. The paper also analyzes the distribution of the volt-age-space vector of the four-leg converter in αβγ coordinates and describes methods to determine the location of the voltage-space vector and to calculate duration time. Finally,the algorithm is implemented in simulation; the results show that the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the three phase-current waveforms is reduced. The neutral wire current,after compensation,is about 0 A showing that the topology of the four-leg shunt APF is feasible and the proposed scheme is effective.展开更多
