以甘肃武都地区、云南小江流域发育的泥石流体为研究对象,采用地球化学元素分析方法,分析不同地区,不同时代泥石流体中化学元素的分布、分配、迁移和富集的规律,并对泥石流沉积物中的硅铝系数(SiO2/Al2O3)、CaCO3含量、pH值、有机质含... 以甘肃武都地区、云南小江流域发育的泥石流体为研究对象,采用地球化学元素分析方法,分析不同地区,不同时代泥石流体中化学元素的分布、分配、迁移和富集的规律,并对泥石流沉积物中的硅铝系数(SiO2/Al2O3)、CaCO3含量、pH值、有机质含量所反映的气候变化特点进行了探讨。结果表明:第四纪泥石流的地球化学特征有别于其它类型的第四纪沉积物;青藏高原东缘第四纪泥石流体中SiO2、CaCO3、有机质含量表现为时代越老含量越高,而Al2O3、K2O含量则表现为时代越老含量越低;硅铝系数表现为时代越老越高,显示了第四纪时期该地区气候波动的总体趋势是干燥程度逐渐增加。研究结果对分析青藏高原的阶段性隆升具有一定的借鉴意义。 展开更多

针对泥石流沉积物高压缩性、低承载力、慢固结性的特点,可在其中加入巴氏芽孢杆菌诱导碳酸钙在泥石流沉积物孔隙中沉淀。为了探讨微生物矿化碳酸钙对沉积物固结速度与承载特性的影响,室内配制4组黏度为0.88 Pa·s的泥石流沉积物(3... 针对泥石流沉积物高压缩性、低承载力、慢固结性的特点,可在其中加入巴氏芽孢杆菌诱导碳酸钙在泥石流沉积物孔隙中沉淀。为了探讨微生物矿化碳酸钙对沉积物固结速度与承载特性的影响,室内配制4组黏度为0.88 Pa·s的泥石流沉积物(3组接种菌株、1组对照),对其进行排水固结试验。观测添加菌液对泥石流沉积物的排水量、沉降量、孔隙水压力的影响,随后通过载荷试验观测其承载力变化。研究结果表明:①微生物矿化碳酸钙可提高泥石流沉积物的承载力,试验组的比例界限及极限承载力均较原始组平均提高约20%;②微生物矿化碳酸钙对泥石流沉积物固结中的孔隙水压力消散不利,当黏性泥石流孔隙度较小时,不利于其排水与固结。 展开更多

The concentration of cosmogenic loBe in riverine sediments has been widely used as a proxy for catchment-wide denudation rate (CWDR). One of the key assumptions of this approach is that sediments originating from sub-basins with different erosional histories are well mixed. A tragic debris flow occurred in the Seti River watershed, central Nepal, on May 5, 2012. This catastrophic debris flow was triggered by slope failure on the peak of Annapurna IV and resulted in many casualties in the lower Seti Khola. However, it provided an opportunity to test the assumption of equal mixing of sediments in an understudied rapidly eroding watershed. This study documents the CWDR of ^10Be to evaluate the extent of the influence of episodic erosional processes such as debris flow on the spatio-temporal redistribution of loBe concentrations. Our data show that the debris flow caused little change in CWDR across the debris flow event. In addition to isotopic measurement, we calculated denudation rates by using the modeled concentrations in pre- and post-landslide sediments based on the local ^10Be production rate. The modeled result showed little change across the event, indicating that the debris flow in May 2012 played a minor role in sediment evacuation, despite the rapid erosion in the catchment. Our study concludes that although the 2012 event caused many casualties and severe damage, it was a low-magnitude, high frequency event. 展开更多

Due to the special condition of provenance and disaster environment after "5·12" Earthquake, the probability and conditions of the occurrence of gully debris flow change greatly after the event, which make it difficult to prevent disaster effectively. In this study the hydrological model of ground water table in loose sediment is established. According to infinite slope theory, the safety factor of deposits is defined as the ratio of resistance force to driving force. The starting condition of post-earthquake gully debris flow is clearly studied by analyzing the effects of rainfall intensity, seismic strength, slope gradient and mechanical properties on the balance of accumulation body. Then the formulas of rainfall and aftershock threshold for starting of gully debris flow are proposed, and an example is given to illustrate the effect of rainfall, aftershocks and their coupling action on a debris flow. The result shows the critical rainfall intensity decreases as the lateral seismic acceleration and channel gradient increases, while the critical intensity linearly increases as the friction angle increases. 展开更多

To characterize and recognize the debris flow-related deposits,the physico-mechanical performance of four deposits from the Dongyuege(DYG),Shawa(SW),Jiangjia Gully(JJG),and Gengdi(GD)debris flows in southwest China is investigated through laboratory analyses and tests.The four debris-flow materials can all be remolded into coherent,homogeneous cylinders with high densification and strength–porosity of 25%-36%,mean pore-throat radius of 0.46-5.89μm,median pore-throat radius of 0.43-4.28μm,P-wave velocity of 800-1200 m/s,modulus of elasticity of 28-103 MPa,unconfined compressive strength(UCS)of 220-760 kPa,and cohesion of 65-281 kPa.Based on the comparison in slurryability and formability among debris-flow deposits,granular flow deposits,fluvial deposits,residual lateritic clay and loess,whether a sediment can be cast into competent cylinders for physico-mechanical tests can be regarded as a diagnostic evidence of old debris-flow deposits.The discrepancy in physico-mechanical properties among the four debris-flow deposits suggests that the combination of foregoing physico-mechanical parameters can characterize assembling characteristics of debris flow-related sediments including grain size distribution,mineralogy,and accidental detritus.Four deposited sediments above can be surprisingly classified as hard soil-soft rocks according to UCS,and the hard soil-soft rock behaviors can advance the further understanding of debris flows. 展开更多
