In the future, the synthesis of environmentally friendly and multi-functional lubricant detergent using biodegradable vegetable oil instead of mineral oil as raw materials will be a primary objective for the colloidal lubricant detergent industry.This paper mainly presents the latest advances in the investigation of colloidal lubricant detergents. 展开更多

Characterization of proteases from Planomicrobium sp. L-2 isolated from the gastrointestinal tract of Octopus variabilis (Sasaki)

L-2 from the gastrointestina... A crude protease produced from Planomicrobium sp. L-2 is described, and its effectiveness as an additive in liquid detergent evaluated. We isolate the protease-producing Planomicrobium sp. L-2 from the gastrointestinal tract of Octopus variabilis. At least three caseinolytic protease clear bands were observed in zymogram analysis. The crude alkaline protease was highly tolerant of a pH range from 7.0 to 9.0, and temperatures to 50℃ after incubation for 1 h. Proteolytic enzymes were stable towards three surfactants (5% Tween 80, 1% Triton X-100 and 0.05% SDS) and an oxidizing agent (1% hydrogen peroxide), in addition to being highly stable and compatible with popular commercial laundry powered detergent brands available in China. Our study demonstrates the potential these proteases have for development into novel classes of detergent additive. This study also suggests that the gastrointestinal tract of Octopus variabilis may be a rich source of commercially valuable strains of enzvme. 展开更多

Bacteriostatic laundry detergent was prepared with application of dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride (1227). In accordance with relevant standards applied in Chinese detergent industry, the effect of 1227 on sensory and physiochemical quality indices, detergency and foaming performance of laundry detergent were comprehensively investigated,and antimicrobial performance as well as practical application performance including skin irritation of laundry detergent formulated with 1227 was emphatically examined and compared with that of market product with similar functions. Results indicated that, in formulation without anionic surfactant, all indices of self-prepared bacteriostatic laundry detergent can meet requirements specified in relevant standards. The foaming power of self-prepared bacteriostatic laundry detergent was lower and easier to rinse than bacteriostatic laundry detergent product in market. Using aqueous solution of 1% mass fraction of self-prepared bacteriostatic laundry detergent containing 2%of 1227, the antibacterial rate for 20 min on both Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus separately reached 100%, which was much better than that of the bacteriostatic laundry detergent product from market. The action effectiveness of the self-prepared bacteriostatic laundry detergent can be maintained for a longer time period and shows no obvious irritation effect to human skin. 展开更多

A series of ultra-concentrated liquid detergents (active matter content 〉 60%) was designed and formulated. The cold resisting, heat resisting and freeze-thaw stability of liquid detergent were tested, and their foaming power, detergency, pH value as well as water-saving property were evaluated by Ross-Miles foam meter, Terg-O-tometer, pH detector and surface tensionmeter, respectively. The results showed that the ultra-concentrated liquid detergents product displayed excellent stability. pH value of liquid detergents were less than 9 with less skin irritation. The foaming power of 0.05% (weight fraction) of liquid detergents was appreciably lower than 0.2% standard liquid detergent.The detergency of 0.05% (weight fraction) of liquid detergents was better than 0.2% standard liquid detergent, especially for artificial sebum stained clothes; the water-saving of liquid detergents was better than standard liquid detergent, the surfactant concentration of second rinse solution of standard liquid detergent was 5.3 times than that of concentrated liquid detergent. 展开更多
