However, its potential mechanism is not well known. To explore this mechanism, the growth, cell viability(esterase activity, membrane potential, and membrane integrity), photosynthesis, and cell size of M. aeruginosa were determined using fl ow cytometry and Phyto-PAM after exposure to rice straw extracts(RSE). The results show that doses from 2.0 to 10.0 g/L of RSE effi ciently inhibited the alga for 15 days, while the physiologic and morphologic responses of the cyanobacteria were time-dependent. RSE interfered with the cell membrane potential, cell size, and in vivo chlorophyll- a fl uorescence on the fi rst day. After 7 days of exposure, RSE was transported into the cytosol, which disrupted enzyme activity and photosynthesis. The cyanobacteria then started to repair its physiology(enzyme activity, photosynthesis) and remained viable, suggesting that rice straw act as an algistatic agent.展开更多

He cannot find identification with himself in the hostile city which does not provide any chance for him to be a better man. What is more, the absence of community in the city makes his strife become hopeless, and drives him into the state of alienation. Opposing against the brutal surroundings, he turns to violent behavior for the spiritual rescue. Yet, since violence derives from a sense of impotence, it cannot protect him from being alienated. Bom in a lower class, however hard he tries, Jules becomes powerless in front of the relentless society and doomed to be a tragedy展开更多

People' s values are constantly changing, more and more people realize that participate in physical exercise for their own importance in sports. The status of people' s lives has been greatly improved, for most residents; they participate in physical activity and have gradually become a richer cultural life, and they enhance the basic needs of physical, mental lifelong sports have gradually deep heart. While people continue to enhance the sports consciousness exercise, we also see some potential problems, such as the rapid development of science and technology is to bring more and more problems to people. As people, enjoy the level of automation in the material aspects of life. They gradually have cars, telephones, washing machines, refrigerators, microwave ovens, rice cookers. And the household products go into our lives, we enjoy the material on those by making more and more people gradually reduce the daily activities. And the most prominent is the elevators and cars, reducing active time and the amount of activity, a lot of heat stored in the human body is causing various diseases, from the results of medical research over the past decade. Various diseases associated with obesity have been become the most important factor in human deaths worldwide, the rapid emergence of this disease and the rapid development of social science and technology form a clear lack of coordination, for which many experts at home and abroad for such issues of deep study and research.展开更多

Methods Ninety patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into 2 groups with 45 cases in each group. Governor vessel-regulating needling combined with rehabilitation training were applied in governor vessel- regulating needling group (observation group), and conventional acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training were applied in conventional acupuncture group (control group). Modified Barthel index (MBI), FugI-Meyer assessment (FMA) and neurological deficit scale (NDS) were adopted to assess the treatment efficacy in the two groups before treatment, after treatment for 2 weeks, and after treatment for 4 weeks, respectively. Results After treatment for 2 weeks, MBI and FMA increased significantly in both groups when compared with the results before treatment (all P〈0.01), NDS reduced significantly in both groups when compared with the results before treatment (both P〈0.01), and there was no significant difference in MBI, FMA and NDS between two groups (all P〉0.05); after treatment for 4 weeks, MBI and FMA in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group (both P〈0.05), and NDS was significantly lower than that in control group (P〈0.05). Conclusion Compared with conventional acupuncture, governor vessel- regulating needling can significantly improve the activities of daily living of patients with cerebral infarction.展开更多

Methods: Forty apoplexy cases were randomly allocated into four groups, 10 in each. Cases in group A were treated by needling the extensor muscle motor points. Cases in group B were treated by needling alternating extensor-flexor muscle motor points. Cases in group C were treated by needling Jianyu (LI 15), Binao (LI 14), Shousanli (LI 10) and Waiguan (TE 5). Cases in group D were treated by needling Jianyu (LI 15), Binao (LI 14), Shousanli (LI 10), Waiguan (TE 5), Chize (LU 5) and Neiguan (PC 6). The motor functions of affected upper limbs were evaluated on the surface electromyography (SEMG), Fugl-Meyer function scale and Barthel ADL (Activities of Daily Living) indexes. Results: Needling alternating extensor-flexor muscle motor points can significantly increase the peak value (MAX) of the upper limb SEMQ integrated electromyogram (IEMG), Fugl-Meyer motor function value and Barthel ADL indexes. Conclusion: Needling different points may produce different effects on wrist function following cerebral apoplexy. Needling alternating extensor-flexor muscle motor points can obtain an exact treatment effect.展开更多

Methods: A hundred and twenty patients with post-stroke spastic hemiplegia were divided into the treatment group and the control group randomly, 60 individuals in each group. Patients in the treatment group received Fu’s subcutaneous needling plus electroacupuncture treatments, while only elecroacupuncture treatment for those in the control group. Limbs spasticity, extremity motor function and activity of daily living (ADL) was respectively evaluated with Ashworth scale, simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function score and modified Barthel index (BI) before treatment and after 30-day treatment. Results: After treatment, Ashworth scale score, Fugl-Meyer motor function score and BI score in the treatment group were much higher than those in the control group (P0.05). Fu’s subcutaneous needling plus electroacupuncture can release spastic hemiplegia, and it is better than the control group. Conclusion: Fu’s subcutaneous needling plus electroacupuncture can release post-stroke spastic hemiplegia effectively.展开更多
