随着时代的发展,田园式旅居养老将成为积极老龄化的一种新趋势。研究田园式旅居养老对老人群体休闲生活的影响发现,田园式旅居养老可以使老年人身心愉悦、延长健康寿命,助推乡村振兴、促进资源的开发利用,满足老年人多元化的养老需求。... 随着时代的发展,田园式旅居养老将成为积极老龄化的一种新趋势。研究田园式旅居养老对老人群体休闲生活的影响发现,田园式旅居养老可以使老年人身心愉悦、延长健康寿命,助推乡村振兴、促进资源的开发利用,满足老年人多元化的养老需求。在活力老人群体中开展田园式旅居养老能够丰富该群体的休闲生活形式,对我国活力老人休闲事业的发展起到助推作用,促进社会资源的开发、整合与利用。当前,田园式旅居养老模式发展还有较大的提升空间,应通过加强监管,扩大宣传,培养人才,优化基础设施,打造特色产品等路径加以改善,以期为积极应对人口老龄化,实现健康老龄化提供参考。 展开更多

[Objective]The aim was to study the effects of sunflower artificial aging on seed vigor and physiological characteristics.[Method] The varieties of seed germination capacity,vigor of germination,germination index,vigor index,peroxidase(POD) activity,superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity and malondialdehyde(MDA) content for four sunflower germplasms such as'SunM20','Deep Purple Minle','Da San Kui Hua 4'and'Ji Kui 24'were studied under high temperature and high humidity conditions(100% RH,45 ℃) for different days(0 d,2 d,4 d,6 d,8 d,10 d).[Result]The result showed that the germination capacity,vigor of germination,germination index,vigor index,POD activity,SOD activity declined gradually with the increase of seed aging days,whereas MDA content enhanced by degrees;The diggerences of resistance to artifical aging existed among the four accessions,'SunM20'was the most resistant one,and exhibited the strongest seed vigor,highest activities of two protective enzyme(POD,SOD) and lowest content of MDA at the uniform condition,moreover,the seed vigor and protective enzyme activities of'SunM20'changed slowest among the four materials during the aging process.[Conclusion]The distinct reduction of POD,SOD activities maybe the main reasons for the decrease of sunflower seed vigor at the artificial aging,and the gradual accumulation of a few MDA accelerated seeds aging. 展开更多

Objectives:The integrated model of frailty shifted the physiologically-dominated view to an integrated and multidisciplinary view of frailty and adopted an integrated and holistic approach to the complex challenges facing frail older adults and their caregivers.There is an urgent need for researchers to identify multi-faceted frailty among older adults and to explore contributors to it.We assessed the level of frailty among older residents in long-term care(LTC)facilities in Shanghai,China and explored risk factors of multiple dimensions of frailty among older residents.Methods:It is a cross-sectional descriptive study.We interviewed 218 older residents from nine LTC facilities.We used Tilburg Frailty Indicator to assess older residents’physiological,psychological,and social frailty.The Geriatric Depression Scale,Mini-Mental state examination,Athens Insomnia Scale,and Activity of Daily Living(ADL)Scale were used to assess their depressive symptoms,cognitive function,sleep quality and ADL abilities,respectively.Results:Older residents have a moderate level of frailty in physiological,psychological and social domains.There is a high correlation among dimensions of frailty.Older residents’depressive symptoms have remained positively associated with their overall and each domain of frailty.Older residents’actual activity participation and exercise in LTC facilities are negatively associated with older residents’overall,physiological and social frailty.Conclusions:Frailty is a multi-dimensional concept and is prevalent among older residents in LTC facilities.It is important to take an integrated view on frailty and carry out appropriate and comprehensive interventions to prevent adverse outcomes and provide holistic care for frail older residents in LTC facilities.There is an urgent need to improve the quality and expand the number of activities offered within LTC facilities that would engage older residents in a person-centered way,despite their age,ADL abilities,frailty and functional limitations. 展开更多

The seeds of maize (Zea mays L.) variety Zhengdan 958 were used to study the change of ultraweak luminescence (UWL) intensity and its relationship with seed vigor, relative electric conductivity and ATP content during artificial aging. The results indicated that the germination percentage, germination potential, germination index, UWL intensity and ATP content decreased gradually, while the relative electric conductivity increased with the prolongation of artificial aging. The correlation analysis showed that UWL intensity was significantly positively correlated with ger- mination percentage, germination potential, germination index and ATP content, while significantly negatively correlated with relative electric conductivity. It was concluded that UWL was closely related to the energy level symbolized by ATP content, and as a fast nondestructive physical indicator with better sensitivity, it could be applied into the study of seed vigor nondestructive testing. 展开更多

Physical activity,fitness and all-cause mortality:An 18-year follow-up among old people

Background:Little is known about change in physical activity(PA) and its relationship to all-cause mortality among old people.There is even less information about the association between PA,fitness and all-cause mortality among people aged 80 years and above.The objective is to investigate persistence and change in PA over 5 years as a predictor of all-cause mortality,and fitnes as a mediator of this association,among people aged 80 and 85 years at the beginning of an 18-year mortality follow-up period.Methods:Using Evergreen Project data(started in 1989),4 study groups were formed according to self-reported changes in PA level,over a 5-year period(starting in 1989–1990 and ending in 1994–1995):remained active(RA,control group),changed to inactive(CI),remained inactive(RI),and changed to active(CA).Mortality was followed up over the 18-year period(1994–2012).Cox models with different covariates such as age,sex,use of alcohol,smoking,chronic diseases,and a 10 m walking test were used to analyze the association between change in PA level and mortality.Results:Compared to RA,those who decreased their PA level(CI) between baseline and follow-up had higher all-cause mortality(hazard ratio(HR=2.09;95%CI:1.63–2.69) when adjusted for age,gender,and chronic diseases.RI showed the highest all-cause mortality(HR = 2.16;95%CI:1.59–2.93).In CA,when compared against RA,the risk of all-cause mortality was not statistically significan(HR=1.51;95%CI:0.95–2.38).In comparison with RA,when walking speed over 10 m was added as a covariate,all-cause mortality risk was almost statistically significan only in CI(HR=1.37;95%CI:1.00–1.87).Conclusion:Persistence and change in PA level was associated with mortality.This association was largely explained by fitnes status.Randomized controlled studies are needed to test whether maintaining or increasing PA level could lengthen the life of old people. 展开更多

In order to ascertain the effect of artificial aging on ultraweak lumines- cence (UWL) and the correlation between UWL and seed vigor, and explore a new way of seed vigor non-destructive testing, seeds of wheat variety ‘Jimai 22' were used to study the change of UWL intensity and its relationship to seed vigor and ATP content during artificial aging. The results showed that with the extension of artificial aging time, the germination percentage, germination potential, germination index, UWL intensity and ATP content decreased gradually; after artificial aging for 48 h, they were reduced by 19.19%, 34.34%, 38.78%, 27.77% and 13.84%, re- spectively, compared with CK. Correlation analysis indicated that the UWL intensity was significantly positive correlated with germination percentage, germination poten- tial, germination index and ATP content. It was concluded that UWL as a fast, non- destructive and sensitive detection method could be applied in the study of seed vigor non-destructive testing. 展开更多
