The control method for machining non-cylinder pin hole of piston was studied systematically. A new method was presented by embedding giant magnetostrictive material (GMM) into the tool bar proper position. The model is established to characterize the relation between control current of coil and deformation of tool rod. A series of tests on deformation of giant magnetostrictive tool bar were done and the results validated the feasibility of the principle. The methods of measuring magne- tostrictive coefficient of rare earth GMM were analyzed. The measuring device with the bias field and prestress was designed. A series of experiments were done to test magnetostrictive coefficient. Experimental results supplied accurate characteristic pa- rameter for designing application device of GMM. The constitution of the developed control system made up of displacement detection and temperature detection for thermal deformation compensation was also introduced. The developed machine tool for boring the non-cylinder pin hole of piston has the micron order accuracy. This control method can be applied to other areas for machining precision or complex parts. 展开更多

At present,a small... As the core part of reciprocating compressor,piston rod is easy to cause a serious accident when abrasion and breakage fault occur to it. Therefore,it is very important to monitor its running state. At present,a small number of reciprocating compressors have been installed on-line monitoring and diagnosis system,most of which can only monitor a single vertical subsidence of piston rod and it can't fully represent the running state of piston rod. Therefore,a method of monitoring the vertical and horizontal displacement of piston rod axis orbit is simultaneously used. In view of the characteristics that the piston rod axis orbit is disordered and difficult to extract features,purification of the axis orbit is carried out based on harmonic wavelet and then features are extracted such as vibration energy,natural frequency and the axis orbit envelope area. After that,a nonlinear local tangent space manifold learning algorithm is used to reduce the dimension of the features and obtain sensitive features. By analyzing the practical cases,the effectiveness of the method for fault monitoring and diagnosis of reciprocating compressor piston rod assembly has been verified. Finally,as BP neural network has the characteristics of solving complex nonlinear problems,the validity of the fault diagnosis method of reciprocating compressor piston rod based on harmonic wavelet and manifold learning is proved by actual case data analysis based on BP neural network. 展开更多

In order to improve the bonding strength between piston alloys and cast iron ring of aluminum piston with reinforced cast iron ring,the different methods of the surface treatments(shot blasting and sand blasting) to the cast iron ring are experimented.The optical micrograph shows that an intermetallic layer and a ligulate shaped structure are formed between piston alloys and cast iron base ring.After sand blasting treatment,the ring surface is non-metal shiny,matte-like and has no obvious pits.The intermetallic layer thickness formed between piston alloys and cast iron is thinner and more equally distributed after sand blasting to the ring.The content of the graphite distributed the interfacial zone after the shot blasting treatment is little.With the increase of time by sand blasting,the hardness starts to slightly descend.The bonding strength of the sample by sand blasting is obviously higher than that by shot blasting and increases from 9.32 MPa to 19.53 MPa. 展开更多

So the section curve should be interpolated through the high accuracy method of circular arc interpolation before NC machining. In order to smooth the connection of adjacent arcs and shorten the NC machining program, an interpolation method based on Chebyshev theory of function approximation is proposed here. According to the analysis of the interpolation error, the algorithm is simple and with high precision. By this way the fewest interpolating circular arc segments can be got, and the manufacture requirement is satisfied with the circular arc interpolating curves. 展开更多

The single cylinder and multi-cylinder pumping dynamics model of a swash plate piston pump were improved.Particular attention has been paid to the design influences of key parts of the valve plate such as relief groove,pre-compression/ expansion and fluid inertia effect of the unsteady flow.Some important parameters,such as the discharge area,discharge coefficient,fluid bulk modulus,were especially analyzed using numerical methods or by experiment-based estimation.Consequently,the mathematical results of pressure pulsation and flow ripple agree well with experimental results from the test-rig of the flow ripple.Therefore,the cross angle and the pre-compression angle of the valve plate was optimized,based on the pumping dynamics model.Considering both the flow ripple and the cylinder pressure of the pump,the cross angle is set to be 2.2° to 2.7° with a pre-compression angle of 1.7° to 2.2°,so the pumping dynamics character can obtain the best result. 展开更多
