An...The data information transfer and time marching strategies between computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and computational structural dynamics (CSD) play crucial roles on the aeroelastic analysis in a time domain. An improved CFD/CSD coupled system is designed, including an interpolation method and an improved loosely coupled algorithm. The interpolation method based on boundary element method (BEM) is developed to transfer aerodynamic loads and structural displacements between CFD and CSD grid systems, it can be universally used in fluid structural interaction solution by keeping energy conservation. The improved loosely coupled algo-rithm is designed, thus it improves the computational accuracy and efficiency. The new interface is performed on the two-dimensional (2-D) extrapolation and the aeroelastie response of AGARD445.6 wing. Results show that the improved interface has a superior accuracy.展开更多

A Topology structure is analyzed that the uhracapacitor system is connected with battery pack parallel after a bidirectional DC/DC converter. The ultracapacitor, battery and the hybrid power system are modeled. For the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) application, the control target and control strategy of the hybrid power system are put forward. From the simulation results based on the Chinese urban driving cycle, the hybrid power system could meet the peak power requirements reasonably while the battery pack' s current is controlled in a reasonable limit which will be helpful to optimize the battery pack' s working conditions to get long cycling life and high efficiency.展开更多

Current mode logic (CML) is used to ensure high speed,and a double centro-symmetric current matrix is designed by the Q^2 random walk strategy in order to ensure the linearity of the DAC. The flow patterns and their transitions of oil-water two-phase flow in horizontal pipes were studied. The experiments were conducted in two kinds of horizontal tubes, made of plexiglas pipe and stainless steel pipe wi...The flow patterns and their transitions of oil-water two-phase flow in horizontal pipes were studied. The experiments were conducted in two kinds of horizontal tubes, made of plexiglas pipe and stainless steel pipe with 40 mm ID respectively. No. 46 mechanical oil and tap water were used as working fluids. The superflcial velocity ranges of oil and water were: 0.04-1.2m·s-1 and 0.04-2.2m·s-1, respectively. The flow patterns were identified by visualization and by transient fluctuation signals of differential pressure drop. The flow patterns were defined according to the relative distribution of oil and water phases in the pipes. Flow pattern maps were obtained for both pipelines. In addition, semi-theoretical transition criteria for the flow patterns were proposed, and the proposed transitional criteria are in reasonable agreement with available data in liquid-liquid systems.展开更多
To improve ground vehicle efficiency, shift schedule energy saving was proposed for the ground vehicle automatic transmission by studying the function of the torque converter and transmission in the vehicular drivetra...To improve ground vehicle efficiency, shift schedule energy saving was proposed for the ground vehicle automatic transmission by studying the function of the torque converter and transmission in the vehicular drivetrain. The shift schedule can keep the torque converter working in the high efficiency range under all the working conditions except in the low efficiency range on the left when the transmission worked at the lowest shift, and in the low efficiency range on the right when the transmission worked at the highest shift. The shift quality key factors were analysed. The automatic trans-mission's bench-test adopting this shift schedule was made on the automatic transmission's test-bed. The experimental results showed that the shift schedule was correct and that the shift quality was controllable.展开更多
