Every one using the sinusoid curve fit software wants to know it. In this paper, the basic process and the uses of sinusoid curve fit are described, and some specifications and evaluation methods are introduced. In this study, we selected 9 typical coal samples with different metamorphic grades as the study subjects,measured their initial 30-min gas desorption at 30℃ and different pressure using a self-developed gas adsorption/desorption device. Based on the characteristics of gas desorption from coal samples, we proposed a direct fitting method for measurement of gas content in coalbed, analyzed the effects of sampling time on the measurement results and determined the reasonable sampling time of coal samples with different metamorphic grades at different gas adsorption pressure at equilibrium. The results show that (1)the error of gas contents obtained using the direct fitting method relative to that obtained using indirect method is less than 10%, which meets the actual on-site requirements and verifies the feasibility of the direct fitting method;(2) when the relative error is controlled within ±10%, the reasonable sampling time of coal samples is linearly related to the gas adsorption pressure at equilibrium;(3) the reasonable sampling time of coal samples with the same metamorphic grade exhibits a shortening trend with increasing gas adsorption pressure at equilibrium;(4) for coal samples with similar gas adsorption pressure at equilibrium, the reasonable sampling time of coal samples displays a shortening trend with increasing metamorphic grade. Overall, the study provides a basis for improving the measurement accuracy of gas content in coalbed. 展开更多

Recent studies on glaciers in the West Kunlun Shan, northwest Tibetan Plateau, have shown that they may be stable or retreating slightly. Here, we assess changes in the mass of the glaciers in the West Kunlun Shan(WKS) in an attempt to understand the processes that control their behavior. Glaciers over the recent 40 years(1970-2010) have shrunk 3.4±3.1%in area, based on a comparison between two Chinese glacier inventories. Variations of surface elevations, derived from ICESat-GLAS(Ice, Cloud, and Land Elevation Satellite-Geoscience Laser Altimeter System) elevation products(GLA14 data) using the robust linear-fit method, indicate that the glaciers have been gaining mass at a rate of 0.23±0.24 m w.e./a since 2003. The annual mass budget for the whole WKS range from 2003 to 2009 is estimated to be 0.71±0.62 Gt/a. This gain trend is confirmed by MOD10A1 albedo for the WKS region which shows a descent of the mean snowline altitude from 2003 to 2009. 展开更多

During the 3D shape measurement,there are noises in the images that are obtained by the capture system.The traditional method,Fourier transform profilometry(FTP) technique,improves the accuracy only by the filtering method in the frequency domain.In this paper,the curve fitting method is used for the light field distribution calculation before the filtering process applied in the frequency domain by choosing a suitable filter window,and then the higher quality of the basic frequency component signal is got.This method can avoid the frequency overlapping caused by the noise,so the improvement of the measuring accuracy of FTP is realized. 展开更多
