According to vector control theory of IM,the q-axis rotor flux converging on zero is utilized for speed estimation. Additionally this system solved the online identification of stator resistance by d-axis flux error. The advantages of the proposed system are simplicity and avoidance of the problems caused by only using a voltage model. An automated multi-range multipliers(range resistors)system is established for the AC voltage measurements by using a thermal voltage converter.It is performed automatically by selecting the appropriate multiplier whose voltage range contains the voltage to be measured without changing it manually through a new designed system.It consists of control part through a micro-controller controlled by specified prepared Lab-VIEW program and switching part through electronic relays in one circuit as clearly described in this work.It is used for measuring the ac voltage in the range from 1 V to 200 V.Also,it can be used for the voltage ranges up to 1 000 V by putting some factors into consideration.The AC-DC transfer differences for these multipliers combined with thermal voltage converter are determined automatically against another standard thermal voltage converter by using another Lab-VIEW program. 展开更多

Zea mays L. is one of the biggest cropping systems among the sustainable development agronomy. Pollen from this crop source is unexplored and apiculture can be a good partner adding value to the product and creating new jobs helping to solve some social issues as unemployment. However, food safety is crucial, thus the aim of this study was to explore the flavonoid/phenolic profiles from Z. mays L. pollen as a fingerprint for this plant identification and also to demonstrate how the method of bee pollen samples (honeybee collected pollen) is applied. For this purpose, several sources ofZ. mays L. pollen were analyzed, including corn hybrids and genetic modified samples collected at the breeding fields. For this work, samples were taken at several years from 2000 to 2012 and collected from different countries and locations, such as Portugal, Mexico and Brazil. Results showed, for the first time, that the fingerprint (flavonoid/phenolic profile) for Z. mays L. pollen does not change over the time of sampling neither with the region of harvesting. The high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector (HPLC/DAD) fingerprints of phenolic/flavonoid extract from Z. mays remain unchanged for all samples analyzed from different countries, hybrids and/or genetic modified plants. This is also the first study reporting these phenolic compounds not only in pollen collected directly from hybrid plants, but also in Z. mays bee pollen. The described fingerprinting method is easy, fast and accurate for the characterization of Z. mays L. pollen samples and complete microscopic analysis because it is species-specific. 展开更多

The macro positioning stage with high-precision and rapid positioning ability plays a crucial role in the macro-micro combination positioning system. In this paper, we develop a practical method for the control of a 3-RRR planar positioning system using online vision measurement as feedback. In this method, a monocular vision system is established to accomplish highprecision online pose measurement for the 3-RRR manipulator. Additionally, a robust and operable adaptive control algorithm,which incorporates a fuzzy controller and a PI controller, is employed to achieve precise and rapid positioning of the 3-RRR positioning system. A series of experiments are conducted to verify the positioning performances of the proposed method, and a conventional PI control algorithm is utilized for comparison. The experimental results indicate that using the proposed control approach, the parallel positioning system obtains high precision and shows higher efficiency and robustness, especially for the time-varying positioning system. 展开更多

We investigate asymptotical stabilization for a class of chaotic systems by means of quantization measurements of states.The quantizer adopted in this paper takes finite many values.In particular,one zoomer is placed at the input terminal of the quantizer,and another zoomer is located at the output terminal of the quantizer.The zoomers possess a common adjustable time-varying parameter.By using the adaptive laws for the time-varying parameter and estimating boundary error of values of quantization,the stabilization feedback controller with the quantized state measurements is proposed for a class of chaotic systems.Finally,some numerical examples are given to demonstrate the validity of the proposed methods. 展开更多

This paper proposes a multi-layer multi-agent model for the performance evaluation of powersystems,which is different from the existing multi-agent ones.To describe the impact of the structureof the networked power system,the proposed model consists of three kinds of agents that form threelayers:control agents such as the generators and associated controllers,information agents to exchangethe information based on the wide area measurement system (WAMS) or transmit control signals tothe power system stabilizers (PSSs),and network-node agents such as the generation nodes and loadnodes connected with transmission lines.An optimal index is presented to evaluate the performance ofdamping controllers to the system's inter-area oscillation with respect to the information-layer topology.Then,the authors show that the inter-area information exchange is more powerful than the exchangewithin a given area to control the inter-area low frequency oscillation based on simulation analysis. 展开更多
