[Objective] The aim was to provide scientific basis for development and utilization of Pinus elliottii Engelm resources.[Method] The extraction process of shikimic acid in Pinus elliottii Engelm was studied,and the co...[Objective] The aim was to provide scientific basis for development and utilization of Pinus elliottii Engelm resources.[Method] The extraction process of shikimic acid in Pinus elliottii Engelm was studied,and the content of shikimic acid was determined by HPLC.The HPLC conditions were as follows;Alltima NH2 (5 μm,4.6 mm × 150 mm) column separation;the mobile phase was acetonitrile-2%H3PO4 (90:10);the flowing velocity was 1 ml/min;test wavelength was 213 nm,the width of belt was 16 nm;reference wavelength was 300 nm,the width of belt was 80 nm.[Result] By the single factor and orthogonal tests,the optimum conditions were found as follows:ethanol concentration 60%,extraction temperature 75 ℃,solid-liquid ratio 1:25,extraction time 2.5 h.The extraction rate of shikimic acid was 1.49%.[Conclusion] Shikimic acid in Pinus elliottii Engelm could be used as a new resource to develop and utilize.展开更多

Three experiments were included in this investigation: (1) First experiment was a bioassay related to the germination performance, shoot and root development of corn (Zea mays L.) and peanut (Arachishypogaea) at two concentrations of root (3% and 1.5%) and shoot (12% and 6%) aqueous extracts of corn medium; (2) The second experiment dedicated to the intercropping of corn and peanut at four treatments; (3) While the third experiment involved the effect of peanut root exudation on growth of corn. Experiment results revealed that corn shoot and root water extracts highly inhibited seed germination of both corn and peanut, the inhibitory of shoot extract was more than root aqueous extract. While its effect on the seedling growth was vice versa as compared with control treatment, there was an increase in root and shoot length of both corn and peanut when grown in corn aqueous extracts. Intercropping experiment results has stimulated most traits of peanut under studying. Also for corn, there was apparent and significant increase in all characteristics as compared with control. It was further confirmed from the results of peanut root exudates that had all studied characters of corn were stimulated than the control treatment.展开更多

[Result] The optimized extraction process of essential oil from E. densa Benth was as follows: grain size of the medicinal herb 50 mesh, ultrasonic time 12 min, being soaked in the water for 6 h, and ratio of the material to liquid 1∶16 g/ml. Under the conditions, the average extracting rate of the essential oil was 0.407%. [Conclusion] The optimized extraction process of essential oil from E. densa Benth was simple and practicable, and its extracting rate was higher.展开更多
