The isothermal and cyclic oxidation tests were conducted at 900 °C for 1000 h and 120 cycles to check the oxidation resistance of the coating. The microstructure and phase transformation of the coating before and after the oxidation were studied by SEM, XRD and EPMA. The results indicate that the diffusion coating shows good oxidation resistance. The mass gain of the diffusion coating is only a quarter of that of bare alloy. After oxidation, the diffusion coating is degraded into three layers: an inner TiAl2 layer, a two-phase intermediate layer composed of a Ti(Al,Si)3 matrix and Si-rich precipitates, and a porous layer because of the inter-diffusion between the coating and substrate.展开更多

The results show that the mass-loss rate of sample A with 1-2 ℃/min slow-cooling rate technology is 47%after oxidation at 700 ℃ for 20 h, while that of sample B with air-fast-cooling one is only 0.98%. SEM images reveal that the coating of sample A is full of micro-holes, micro-cracks and many piece-like crystal particles, while that of sample B is integrated and compacted in glassy state with a few of micro-cracks. The coating of sample A is almost exhausted only in 8 h oxidized-test at 700 ℃, while that of sample B remains integrated after 8 h test at 700 ℃ and becomes loose due to much small pores generated after 20 h test at 700 ℃.展开更多

After deposition, these samples were implanted by 5 keV hydrogen ion beam at a dose of 1×1018 ion/cm2. Some samples were heat treated at different temperatures from 273 K to 1173 K separately. The surface morphology, surface concentration of the elements of the C-SiC coatings and element iron from substrate as well as their depth profiles were checked with SEM, XPS and SIMS analyses. The results show that the composition of the coatings is changed due to heat treatment at different temperatures. The C-50%SiC coating with an excellent hydrogen resistant property can act as hydrogen barrier at the temperature below 723 K. But the hydrogen resistant property of the coating becomes bad when it is used at the temperature of 1023 K.展开更多

The microstructure and phase of BaPbO3 thin films were determined by X-ray diffractometry, scanning electrons microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry. The influence of annealing temperature and annealing time on sheet resistance of the thin films was investigated. The results show that heat treatment, including annealing temperature and time, causes notable change in molar ratio of Pb to Ba, resulting in the variations of sheet resistance. The variation of electrical properties demonstrates that the surface state of the film changes from two-dimensional behavior to three-dimensional behavior with the increase of film thickness. Crack-free BaPbO3 thin films with grain size of 90 nm can be obtained by a rapid thermal annealing at 700 ℃ for 10 min. And the BaPbO3 films with a thickness of 2.5 μm has a sheet resistance of 35 Ω·-1.展开更多
