对涂层/基体系统中,基体性质对涂层压痕力学行为的影响进行了研究,得出了基体对压痕载荷位移曲线的影响规律。研究表明:在给定的条件下,当压痕位移为涂层厚度的12%~16%时,由于基体屈服强度的变化,导致压痕载荷位移曲线在此处... 对涂层/基体系统中,基体性质对涂层压痕力学行为的影响进行了研究,得出了基体对压痕载荷位移曲线的影响规律。研究表明:在给定的条件下,当压痕位移为涂层厚度的12%~16%时,由于基体屈服强度的变化,导致压痕载荷位移曲线在此处发生偏离;在压痕位移小于涂层厚度的10%时,不同的基体屈服强度得到的压痕响应完全一致,即基体的改变对压痕响应的影响是可以忽略的;同时还发现,在压痕位移为涂层厚度的30%时,如果基体屈服强度小于2000MPa时,基体屈服应力的改变会改变涂层的压痕力学行为,而当基体屈服强度大于2000MPa时,即使继续增大基体的屈服应力,所得到的载荷-位移曲线几乎重合,即其影响可以忽略。 展开更多

采用原子层沉积技术(ALD)在200℃低温条件下将纳米Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2)多层涂层沉积在硬质合金刀具表面。利用扫描电镜SEM、划痕测试仪和三向测力仪以及数控机床等设备,对不同形式的纳米Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2)多层涂层刀具的涂层-基体结... 采用原子层沉积技术(ALD)在200℃低温条件下将纳米Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2)多层涂层沉积在硬质合金刀具表面。利用扫描电镜SEM、划痕测试仪和三向测力仪以及数控机床等设备,对不同形式的纳米Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2)多层涂层刀具的涂层-基体结合力和切削性能等进行研究。结果表明,基于原子层沉积技术低温制备的纳米多层涂层刀具的涂层-基体结合强度高;涂层层数、涂层沉积顺序及涂层层厚比对纳米多层涂层刀具的切削力有不同程度的影响;纳米多层涂层刀具更适合高速切削,当切削速度大于2.33m/s时,纳米多层涂层刀具的切削力和摩擦因数呈下降趋势,表现出良好的切削性能,其中双层纳米涂层刀具的切削性能更好;在高速切削时,纳米多层涂层刀具表面摩擦因数比普通未涂层硬质合金刀具低,纳米Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2)多层涂层能够有效改善刀具的黏结磨损,减少刀-屑粘黏现象和烫伤现象,能够改善刀具表面的耐磨损性能。 展开更多

Effects of thickness and elastic modulus on stress condition of fatigue-resistant coating under rolling contact 被引量:4

The distribution and magnitude of surface substrates were investigated by finite element method and subsurface stresses of the (FEM). The models of coating single-layer sprayed-coatings on monolithic configurations with different thicknesses and elastic modulus ratios of coating to substrate were introduced, and the effects of thickness and elastic modulus ratio on the stresses were addressed. The calculation results show that the coating/substrate interface shear stress obviously decreases with increasing coating thickness, due to the location of the maximum shear stress moving away from the coating/substrate interface. At the same time, the magnitude of von Mises stress also declines in the case of thicker coatings. However, the high elastic modulus ratio results in extremely high maximum shear stress and the severe discontinuity of the von Mises stress curves, which leads to the intensive stress concentration on the coating/substrate interface. So the coating configurations with the larger coating thickness and lower difference of elastic modulus between coating and substrate exhibit excellent resistant performance of rolling contact fatigue (RCF). 展开更多

Lewis acidic 1-allyl-3-methylimidazolium chloroaluminate ionic liquids were used as promising elec-trolytes in the low-temperature electrodeposition of aluminium.Systematic studies on deposition process have been performed by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry.The surface morphology and X-ray diffraction(XRD) patterns of deposits prepared at different experimental conditions were also investigated.It was shown that the nu-cleation density and growth rate of crystallites had a great effect on the structure of aluminium deposited.The crys-tallographic orientation of deposits was mainly influenced by temperature and current density.Smooth,dense and well adherent aluminium coatings were obtained on copper substrates at 10-25 mA?cm?2 and 313.2-353.2 K.More-over,the current efficiency of deposition and purity of aluminium have been significantly improved,demonstrating that the ionic liquids tested have a prospectful potential in electroplating and electrorefining of aluminium. 展开更多

By virtue of a complete set of two displacement potentials,an analytical derivation of the elastostatic Green’s functions of an exponentially graded transversely isotropic substrate–coating system is presented.Three-dimensional point–load and patch–load Green’s functions for stresses and displacements are given in line-integral representations.The formulation includes a complete set of transformed stress–potential and displacement–potential relations,with utilizing Fourier series and Hankel transforms.As illustrations,the present Green’s functions are degenerated to the special cases such as an exponentially graded half-space and a homogeneous two-layered half-space Green’s functions.Because of complicated integrand functions,the integrals are evaluated numerically and for numerical computation of the integrals,a robust and effective methodology is laid out which gives the necessary account of the presence of singularities of integration.Comparisons of the existing numerical solutions for homogeneous two-layered isotropic and transversely isotropic half-spaces are made to confirm the accuracy of the present solutions.Some typical numerical examples are also given to show the general features of the exponentially graded two-layered half-space Green’s functions that the effect of degree of variation of material properties will be recognized. 展开更多

Hydroxyapatite coatings were directly prepared on anodized titanium by electro-deposition method in a modified simulated body fluid.The configuration,structure and bioactivity of the coating were investigated with scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction analyzer(XRD)and Fourier transform infrared spectros-copy(FTIR)techniques.The results demonstrated that pure and homogeneous hydroxyapatite coating can be obtained without any post-treatment.The prepared coating showed good bioactivity in simulated body fluid(SBF).The time required for a fully covered dense hydroxyapatite coatings was 4 days immersion in SBF. 展开更多

针对某型号直升机旋翼系统的关键连接螺栓存在疲劳寿命明显不足的现象,采用显微硬度分布以及扫描电子显微镜(SEM)/电子背散射衍射(EBSD)分析,发现螺栓基体在车削、磨削和喷砂的机加工处理后,表面残留的变质层叠加区对WC-10Co4Cr涂层与... 针对某型号直升机旋翼系统的关键连接螺栓存在疲劳寿命明显不足的现象,采用显微硬度分布以及扫描电子显微镜(SEM)/电子背散射衍射(EBSD)分析,发现螺栓基体在车削、磨削和喷砂的机加工处理后,表面残留的变质层叠加区对WC-10Co4Cr涂层与基体结合强度产生不利影响,进而造成的基体-涂层界面早期开裂失效是螺栓疲劳寿命明显不足的主要原因。通过采用加大磨削量来消除变质层叠加区的加工工艺后,螺栓涂层与基体的显微硬度分布更加均匀,平均疲劳寿命比原螺栓提高了3倍。这主要是因为加工变质层叠加区的去除使螺栓表面的硬度有所提高,且硬度分布更加均匀,进而减缓了基体与涂层的硬度梯度,使涂层与基体的结合强度显著提高。 展开更多

This work reveals the performance of a trihexyl(tetradecyl)phosphonium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide ([P6,6,6,14][NTf2]) ionic liquid (IL) conversion coating upon AZ91D. Such conversion coatings represent a novel avenue for chromate replacement. An optimization of coating performance was pursued by careful alloy pretreatment to generate a surface on which the coating performs best, as the AZ91 substrate is distinctly different from pure or dilute Mg alloys. The results reveal that a functional conversion coating can be achieved, retarding anodic dissolution kinetics, causing a significant decrease in corrosion rate. The coating efficacy is closely tied to the pretreatment performed, which dictates both the microstructural and electrochemical heterogeneity of the surface. The resulting coatings were found to contain MgxFx and phosphonium cation related components, the proportions of which were dependent on the pretreatment. 展开更多

We have successfully employed metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) technique to simultaneously deposit double-sided YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO) films on both sides of YzO3/yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ)/Ce... We have successfully employed metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) technique to simultaneously deposit double-sided YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO) films on both sides of YzO3/yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ)/CeO2 (YYC) buffered biaxially textured Ni-5 at.% W substrates, which is of great prospect to cut the production cost of YBCO coated conductors. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that both sides of YBCO film were purely c-axis oriented and highly textured. The co-scan of (005) YBCO and Ф-scan of (103) YBCO yielded full width at half maximum (FWHM) values of 4.9° and 6.6° for one side of double-sided YBCO film, respectively, as well as 4.4° and 6.4° for the other side. The current transportation measurements performed on such double-sided 500 nm-thickness YBCO films showed the self-field critical current density (Jc) at 77 K of 0.6 MA/cm^2 and 1.2 MA/cm^2, respectively. Further research is in the process of exploring new solution to improve the Jc in practice. 展开更多
