Polyethersulfone(PES) is widely used as biomaterials due to its thermal stability,mechanical strength,and chemical inertness.Nevertheless,their blood compatibility is still not adequate for hemodialysis and blood puri...Polyethersulfone(PES) is widely used as biomaterials due to its thermal stability,mechanical strength,and chemical inertness.Nevertheless,their blood compatibility is still not adequate for hemodialysis and blood purification.In this study,the sulfonated polyethersulfone(SPES) was synthesized through an electrophilic substitution reaction,and PES/SPES blending membranes were prepared.The characterization of the SPES was studied by FTIR.The water adsorption and water contact angle experiments show that the hydrophilicity of PES/SPES blend membrane was improved as for the sulfonate group existing in the SPES.Moreover,PES/SPES blend membrane could effectively reduce bovine serum albumin adsorption and prolong the blood coagulation time compared with the PES membrane,thereby improving blood compatibility.展开更多
The density,viscosity and refractive index of aqueous solutions of tetrabutylammonium hydroxide(TBAOH),piperazine(PZ) and their aqueous blends are determined at several temperatures(303.15 to 333.15 K).All these measu...The density,viscosity and refractive index of aqueous solutions of tetrabutylammonium hydroxide(TBAOH),piperazine(PZ) and their aqueous blends are determined at several temperatures(303.15 to 333.15 K).All these measured physicochemical properties decreases with an increase in temperature.The density data is used to calculate the coefficient of thermal expansion and excess molar volume of all aqueous binary and ternary solutions.The coefficient of thermal expansion increases with increase in temperatures and concentrations.The negativity of excess molar volume for all the aqueous solution decreased with increase in temperature.Each physical property is correlated with temperature by least square method and the corresponding coefficients for each property are presented.The prediction values from correlations for the physical properties are in good agreement with the experimental values.展开更多

NaNO3 NaCl and NH4Cl on strong basicanion exchange resins in quaternary ammonium form I and the adsorption properties after elution were studied. In addition, the elution curse, the permeation curveand the exchange capacities of operation were presented. The eluate containingtungsten with high content and excessive eluant of low content were obtained by employing the process of eluting using mixed solution of NaCl and NaOH. It's possible to obtain Na2WO4. 2H2O with high purity by evaporating and crystallizing theeluate. The results of mixed elution showed that the diffusion coefficients of Cl-.OH- and WO ions in solution or exchange agent varied due to the coexistence ofcounter ions and then the exchange velocity of WO→Cl- and WOe→OH- wasaccelerated.展开更多
