With the warming up and continuous development of machine learning,especially deep learning,the research on visual question answering field has made significant progress,with important theoretical research significance and practical application value.Therefore,it is necessary to summarize the current research and provide some reference for researchers in this field.This article conducted a detailed and in-depth analysis and summarized of relevant research and typical methods of visual question answering field.First,relevant background knowledge about VQA(Visual Question Answering)was introduced.Secondly,the issues and challenges of visual question answering were discussed,and at the same time,some promising discussion on the particular methodologies was given.Thirdly,the key sub-problems affecting visual question answering were summarized and analyzed.Then,the current commonly used data sets and evaluation indicators were summarized.Next,in view of the popular algorithms and models in VQA research,comparison of the algorithms and models was summarized and listed.Finally,the future development trend and conclusion of visual question answering were prospected. 展开更多

There exist three types of nonlinear problems in large deformation processes of deep softrock engineering, i.e., nonlin- earity caused by material, geometrical and contact boundary. In this paper, the numerical method to tackle the nonlinear eontact and large deformation problem in A Software on Large Deformation Analysis for Soft Rock Engineering at Great Depth was presented. In the software, based on Lagrange multiplier method and Coulomb friction law, kinematic constraints on contact boundaries were introduced in functional function, and the finite element equations was established for two incremental large deformation analyses models, polar decomposition model and additive decomposition model. For every incremental loading step, by searching for the contact points in the potential contact interfaces (the excavation boundaries), the Lagrange multipliers, i.e., contact forces are cal- culated iteratively by Gauss-Seidel method, and justified through satisfy the inequalities of static constraint on contact boundaries. With the software, large deformation and frictional contact of a transport roadway were analyzed numerically by the two models. The numerical examples demonstrated the efficiency of the method used in the software. 展开更多

However, due to the existence of the transport problems in the upper ocean, the flat upper and the horizontal homogenous hypothesis are usually wave motion, the application of this approximation may result in some errors to the solar irradiation since it decays quickly in respect to the actual thickness of the water layer below the surface; on the other hand, due to the fluctuation of the water layer depth, it is improper to neglect the effects of the horizontal advection and turbulent diffusion since they also contribute to the vertical heat transport. A new model is constructed in this study to reflect these effects. The corresponding numerical simulations show that the wave motion may remarkably accelerate the vertical heat transferring process and the variation of the temperature in the wave affected layer appears in an oscillating manner. 展开更多

For the composite fading environ- ment with muhiple receivers, receivers experience different fading at any time. It' s very important to code the composite packet so that intended receivers are in good channel qualities, because in- tended receivers in deep fading have little opportunity to receive the composite packet correctly. Hence, we propose a novel composite packet coding principle of maximizing the total SNR of intend- ed receivers. Since the proposed principle is an NP-complete problem, an efficient heuristic algo- rithm with low complexity is given for finding a suboptimal solution. Simulation results show the heu- ristic based scheme achieves higher transmission efficiency than other network coding-based schemes due to the multi-user diversity gain. 展开更多

It is divided into three parts. In Part 1 I like to give a synoptic view of contemporary environmentalism, as reflected in Arne Naess's Deep Ecology. In Part 2 I make an exposition of the Bhumisukta, particularly those verses (mantras) which are directly relevant to our environmental concerns. To say the truth, this Bhumisukta (also called the Pcthivisitkta) epitomizes the Vedic Hindu eco-culture. The Bhumisukta (which literally means, the Hymn or Prayer to the Earth) is the oldest and the most evocative environmental discourse. It is called "the first natural anthem" in the history of mankind. It constitutes the first anuvgtka of dvgtda~ kgm. da of the Atharvaveda and contains 63 verses (mantras) devoted to glorifying the Earth as sacred and inviolable. Many prayers have been sung for the preservation and conservation of Nature and its gifts of splendor. The Bh^misftkta talks about human dependence on the Nature and respect for the same that follows naturally. It proclaims of the Earth as the mother, and humanity as her children Bhumisukta, putro'ham pr. thivyah" In Part 3 1 like to make a brief but critical observation regarding the loss of continuity of Vedic tradition in view of an objection made by some Western environmentalists. In this concluding part I like to respond to the objection that so called eco-sensitive cultures could not avert environmental pollution and depletion of Nature in countries, like India. 展开更多

Artificial Neural Network(ANN)has become a powerful tool in the field of scientific research with its powerful information encapsulation ability and convenient variational optimization method.In particular,there have been many recent advances in computational physics to solve variational problems.Deep Neural Network(DNN)is used to represent the wave function to solve quantum many-body problems using variational optimization.In this work we used a new Physics-Informed Neural Network(PINN)to represent the Cumulative Distribution Function(CDF)of some classical problems in quantum mechanics and to obtain their ground state wave function and ground state energy through the CDF.By benchmarking against the exact solution,the error of the results can be controlled at a very low level.This new network architecture and optimization method can provide a new choice for solving quantum many-body problems. 展开更多
