In order to achieve the improvement of the driving comfort and energy efficiency,an new e-CVT flexible full hybrid electric system(E2FHS) is proposed,which uses an integrated main drive motor and generator to take the place of the original automatic or manual transmission to realize the functions of continuously variable transmission(e-CVT).The design and prototype realization of the E2FHS system for a plug-in hybrid vehicle(PHEV) is performed.In order to analyze and optimize the parameters and the power flux between different parts of the E2FHS,simulation software is developed.Especially,in order to optimize the performance of the energy economy improvement of the E2FHS,the effect of the different energy management controllers is investigated,and an adaptive online-optimal energy management controller for the E2FHS is built and validated by the prototype PHEV. 展开更多

Energy management strategy based on logic thresh- old is designed which is aimed at efficient operation of the overall system considering the operational characteristic of the components and taking the curves of engine, hydraulic pump/motor and hydrau- lic pump as the main design basis; regenerative control strategy which makes regenerative brake sys- tem and frictional brake system work harmoniously is designed to raise recovery rate of regenerative brake energy. System dynamic modeling and simulation results show that the energy control strategy designed here is able to adapt system to changes of working condition and switch the operating mode reasonably. The regenerative braking control strategy is effective in raising the utilization of energy and improving fuel economy. 展开更多

A new semi-active suspension control strategy through mixed H2/H∞ robust technique was developed due to its flexibility and robustness to model uncertainties.A full car model with seven degrees of freedom was established to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new control approach.Magneto-rheological(MR) dampers were designed,manufactured and characterized as available semi-active actuators in the developed semi-active suspension system.The four independent mixed H2/H∞ controllers were devised in order to perform a distributed semi-active control system in the vehicle by which the response velocity and reliability can be improved significantly.The performance of the proposed new approach was investigated in time and frequency domains.A good balance between vehicle's comfort and road holding was achieved.An effective and practical control strategy for semi-active suspension system was thus obtained.This new approach exhibits some advantages in implementation,performance flexibility and robustness compared to existing methods. 展开更多

In this paper, a four-layer-one-angel hierarchical modeling framework based on OOP is defined. And the modeling description of these layers is expounded, such as: hybrid production control modeling and human resource dispatch modeling. Device-to-Device(D2D) communication has been proposed as a promising implementation of green communication to benefit the existed cellular network.In order to limit cross-tier interference while explore the gain of short-range communication,we devise a series of distributed power control(DPC) schemes for energy conservation(EC)and enhancement of radio resource utilization in the hybrid system.Firstly,a constrained opportunistic power control model is built up to take advantage of the interference avoidance methodology in the presence of service requirement and power constraint.Then,biasing scheme and admission control are added to evade ineffective power consumption and maintain the feasibility of the system.Upon feasibility,a non-cooperative game is further formulated to exploit the profit in EC with minor influence on spectral efficiency(SE).The convergence of the DPC schemes is validated and their performance is confirmed via simulation results. 展开更多

In electric and hybrid vehicle are applied: FLMC (Fuzzy Logic Mode Control), SLMC (Sliding Mode Control), NRMC (Neural Regulator Control), and Direct Power and Torque Control for Space Vector Modulated inverter (DPTC SVM). In the special solution of the electric and hybrid vehicle are also applied a Random Switching Frequency Modulation. The control of hybrid vehicle should assure the realization of established transport-assignments in the definite time, at the optimum of energy consumption. One can this realize using. The multi criteria control system. Some results of the computer simulations are presented in the paper. The configuration of the hybrid fuel cell powertrain was introduced. The safety of hydrogen storage and delivery system, the hydrogen leakage alarm system were developed. The real-time distributed control and diagnosis system based on the Time Trigger Controller Area Network (TTCAN) with 10 ms basic control period was developed. The concept and implementation of processor (or controller) monitor and process (or task) monitor technique based on the TYCAN were applied in this paper. The fault tolerant control algorithm of the fuel cell engine and the battery man- agement system were considered. We proposed a hybrid transmission system consist of 1Tbit/s Nyquist WDM channels,100Gbit/s PDM-QPSK WDM channels and 10Gbit/s NRZ WDM channels to study whether Terabit Nyquist WDM signal could transmit in the existing hybrid systems with DCM(dispersion compensation module). The simulation results demonstrated the influence of all these three kinds of signals. The 1Tbit/s Nyquist WDM channels introduced 1.5d B Q penalty to the 100Gbit/s PDM-QPSK signals and their influence on the 10Gbit/s NRZ signals was extremely slight. In the hybrid optical system,1Tbit/s Nyquist channel has 5d B Q penalty due to the inline DCM and 2.5d B Q penalty due to the channel interference from existing channels. Therefore,the total Q penalty is 7.5d B caused by strong nonlinear effects at the launch power of 0d Bm. The results have the guiding significance for the design of future backbone system and also support the feasibility of future dynamic optical system. 展开更多

Among the existing electromechanical coupling systems, ISG system is recognized as the most practical one with the highest integration. However, the efficiency of ISG system is relatively low in pure-motor-drive mode. In this paper, a hybrid drivetrain with double clutches was proposed, in which a mode-clutch was installed between engine and motor as the mode switch, thus the efficiency in pure-motor-drive mode was improved. This paper discussed the architecture, modeling and control strategy of double-clutch drivetrain. The results of co-simulation by Cruise and Simulink showed that the fuel economy of the vehicle with this drivetrain was effectively improved compared to similar conventional vehicles. 展开更多

The energy management strategy is an important part of a hybrid electrical vehicle design. It is used to improve fuel economy and to sustain a proper battery state of charge by controlling the power components while satisfying various constraints and driving demands. However, achieving an optimal control performance is challenging due to the nonlinearities of the hybrid powertrain, the time varying constraints, and the dilemma in which controller complexity and real-time capability are generally conflicting objectives. In this paper, a real-time capable cascaded control strategy is proposed for a dual-mode hybrid electric vehicle that considers nonlinearities of the system and complies with all time-varying constraints. The strategy consists of a supervisory controller based on a non-linear model predictive control (MPC) with a long sampling time interval and a coordinating controller based on linear model predictive control with a short sampling time interval to deal with different dynamics of the system. Additionally, a novel data based methodology using adaptive Markov chains to predict future load demand is introduced. The predictive future information is used to improve controller performance. The proposed strategy is implemented on a real test-bed and experimental trials using unknown driving cycles are conducted. The results demonstrate the validity of the proposed approach and show that fuel economy is significantly improved compared with other methods. 展开更多

This paper considers dynamical systems under feedback with control actions limited toswitching.The authors wish to understand the closed-loop systems as approximating multi-scale problemsin which the implementation of switching merely acts on a fast scale.Such hybrid dynamicalsystems are extensively studied in the literature,but not much so far for feedback with partial stateobservation.This becomes in particular relevant when the dynamical systems are governed by partialdifferential equations.The authors introduce an augmented BV setting which permits recognition ofcertain fast scale effects and give a corresponding well-posedness result for observations with such minimalregularity.As an application for this setting,the authors show existence of solutions for systemsof semilinear hyperbolic equations under such feedback with pointwise observations. 展开更多
