目的探究基于案例引入的问题驱动教学法(PBL)线上线下混合型教学模式在医学影像学教学中的应用效果以及对学生批判性思维、自主学习能力和创新能力的影响。方法本研究以新疆医科大学2019级临床医学专业6、7班的100名本科生(已完成医学... 目的探究基于案例引入的问题驱动教学法(PBL)线上线下混合型教学模式在医学影像学教学中的应用效果以及对学生批判性思维、自主学习能力和创新能力的影响。方法本研究以新疆医科大学2019级临床医学专业6、7班的100名本科生(已完成医学基础课程的学习)作为研究对象,随机将其分为对照组和试验组,每组50名。对照组的医学影像诊断授课工作采取传统授课模式,试验组则采取基于案例引入的PBL线上线下混合型教学模式。比较两组学生的理论考核和读片技能考核评分、教学模式的满意度以及批判性思维能力量表评分。结果试验组的理论考核和读片技能考核评分均明显高于对照组(P<0.05)。针对学习兴趣和主观能动性、查阅文献、团队协作、临床思维、临床应用、影像诊断能力以及总体满意度而言,试验组对基于案例引的PBL线上线下混合型教学模式的满意度高于对照组对传统教学模式的满意度(P<0.05)。试验组的分析能力、系统化能力、批判思维的自信心和求知欲评分均高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论基于案例引入的PBL线上线下混合型教学模式用于医学影像学教学中具有显著成效。 展开更多

In order to study the viscoelastic characteristics of asphalt mixtures in the whole-frequency range, a dynamic shearing rheometer is used to carry out dynamic frequency sweeps for asphalt mixtures, which obtains the three-dimensional relationships among G^*, temperature and frequency. Then the time-temperature shift principle is used to translate the relationships from three dimensions to two dimensions, so master curves are obtained regarding dynamic modules changing along with the frequency over 15 amount levels. The Christensen- Anderson-Marasteanu (CAM) model, a kind of the rheological model, is used to analyze and compare rheological performances of several asphalt mixtures based on the obtained master curves. The results indicate that the dynamic theological test is an effective method for obtaining the master curve. Besides, the CAM model can describe well the viscoelastic deformation characteristics of asphalt mixtures. 展开更多

It can be used to describe the later stage when drug loading is above its solubility limit. A comprehensive model is proposed and the generalized solutions are acquired by Laplace transformation, from which a special case, i.e. a perfect sink has been deduced. According to the derived equations, the concentration profiles in the matrix has been computed and illustrated and the effect of volume of extraction medium on release has been investigated. 展开更多

One hundred and sixty-eight genotypes of cotton from the same growing region were used as a germplasm group to study the validity of different genetic distances in constructing cotton core subset. Mixed linear model approach was employed to unbiasedly predict genotypic values of 20 traits for eliminating the environmental effect. Six commonly used genetic distances(Euclidean,standardized Euclidean,Mahalanobis,city block,cosine and correlation distances) combining four commonly used hierarchical cluster methods(single distance,complete distance,unweighted pair-group average and Ward's methods) were used in the least distance stepwise sampling(LDSS) method for constructing different core subsets. The analyses of variance(ANOVA) of different evaluating parameters showed that the validities of cosine and correlation distances were inferior to those of Euclidean,standardized Euclidean,Mahalanobis and city block distances. Standardized Euclidean distance was slightly more effective than Euclidean,Mahalanobis and city block distances. The principal analysis validated standardized Euclidean distance in the course of constructing practical core subsets. The covariance matrix of accessions might be ill-conditioned when Mahalanobis distance was used to calculate genetic distance at low sampling percentages,which led to bias in small-sized core subset construction. The standardized Euclidean distance is recommended in core subset construction with LDSS method. 展开更多

A novel hybrid robust three-axis attitude control approach, namely HRTAC, is considered along with the well-known developments in the area of space systems, since there is a consensus among the related experts that the new insights may be taken into account as decision points to outperform the available materials. It is to note that the traditional control approaches may generally be upgraded, as long as a number of modifications are made with respect to state-of-the-art, in order to propose high-precision outcomes. Regarding the investigated issues, the robust sliding mode finite-time control approach is first designed to handle three-axis angular rates in the inner control loop, which consists of the pulse width pulse frequency modulations in line with the control allocation scheme and the system dynamics. The main subject to employ these modulations that is realizing in association with the control allocation scheme is to be able to handle a class of overactuated systems, in particular. The proportional derivative based linear quadratic regulator approach is then designed to handle three-axis rotational angles in the outer control loop, which consists of the system kinematics that is correspondingly concentrated to deal with the quaternion based model. The utilization of the linear and its nonlinear terms, simultaneously, are taken into real consideration as the research motivation, while the performance results are of the significance as the improved version in comparison with the recent investigated outcomes. Subsequently, there is a stability analysis to verify and guarantee the closed loop system performance in coping with the whole of nominal referenced commands. At the end, the effectiveness of the approach considered here is highlighted in line with a number of potential recent benchmarks. 展开更多

This paper considers a problem of unsupervised spectral unmixing of hyperspectral data. Based on the Linear Mixing Model ( LMM), a new method under the framework of nonnegative matrix fac- torization (NMF) is proposed, namely minimum distance constrained nonnegative matrix factoriza- tion (MDC-NMF). In this paper, firstly, a new regularization term, called endmember distance (ED) is considered, which is defined as the sum of the squared Euclidean distances from each end- member to their geometric center. Compared with the simplex volume, ED has better optimization properties and is conceptually intuitive. Secondly, a projected gradient (PG) scheme is adopted, and by the virtue of ED, in this scheme the optimal step size along the feasible descent direction can be calculated easily at each iteration. Thirdly, a finite step ( no more than the number of endmem- bers) terminated algorithm is used to project a point on the canonical simplex, by which the abun- dance nonnegative constraint and abundance sum-to-one constraint can be accurately satisfied in a light amount of computation. The experimental results, based on a set of synthetic data and real da- ta, demonstrate that, in the same running time, MDC-NMF outperforms several other similar meth- ods proposed recently. 展开更多

Background The long-term prognostic influence of left atrial diameter (LAD) remodeling on the status of post-radiofrequency catheter ablation (RI CA) atrial fibrillation (AF) is unclear. This study employed a two-stage model from 3-year echocardiographic data to ascertain whether the two-stage model predicts RFCA outcome more favorably than models using the baseline LAD. Methods Data were retrospectively collected from 263 consecutive patients with drug-refractory AF undergoing RFCA. Regular echocardiographic measurements of LAD were performed at baseline, 1, 3, 6, and 12 months and then every 6 months after RFCA. Sex, age, type of AF, number of RFCA, and AF status were recorded. We obtain the actual (predicted) 3-year LAD using a longitudinal linear mixed model (1st stage). Logistic regression models based on the baseline LAD (Model 1), actual (predicted) 3-year LAD (Model 2) (2nd stage), and observed 3-year LAD (Model 3) were constructed to predict RFCA outcome. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) were used to assess the performance of models. Results The lowess smoothed curve indicated that the LAD declined over the first three months and remained stable up to 36 months after RFCA. The degree of LAD reduction was significantly influenced by the baseline LAD. Non-paroxysmal AF, large LAD and female gender were significant predictors of AF recurrence. Model 2 had the largest AUC among the three models. Conclusions This longitudinal study-based two-stage model outperforms the original logistic model using the baseline LAD. Non-paroxysmal AF, larger LAD and female gender are significant predictors of RFCA failure. 展开更多

With diversified requirements and varying manufacturing environments, the optimal production planning for a steel mill becomes more flexible and complicated. The flexibility provides operators with auxiliary requirements through an implementable integrated production planning. In this paper, a mixed-integer nonlinear programming(MINLP) model is proposed for the optimal planning that incorporates various manufacturing constraints and flexibility in a steel plate mill. Furthermore, two solution strategies are developed to overcome the weakness in solving the MINLP problem directly. The first one is to transform the original MINLP formulation to an approximate mixed integer linear programming using a classic linearization method. The second one is to decompose the original model using a branch-and-bound based iterative method. Computational experiments on various instances are presented in terms of the effectiveness and applicability. The result shows that the second method performs better in computational efforts and solution accuracy. 展开更多

This paper describes two single-chip——complex programmable logic devices/field programmable gate arrays(CPLD/FPGA)——implementations of the new advanced encryption standard (AES) algorithm based on the basic iteration architecture (design [A]) and the hybrid pipelining architecture (design [B]). Design [A] is an encryption-and-decryption implementation based on the basic iteration architecture. This design not only supports 128-bit, 192-bit, 256-bit keys, but saves hardware resources because of the iteration architecture and sharing technology. Design [B] is a method of the 2×2 hybrid pipelining architecture. Based on the AES interleaved mode of operation, the design successfully accomplishes the algorithm, which operates in the feedback mode (cipher block chaining). It not only guarantees security of encryption/decryption, but obtains high data throughput of 1.05 Gb/s. The two designs have been realized on Aitera′s EP20k300EBC652-1 devices. 展开更多

Microarray has become increasingly popular biotechnology in biological and medical researches, and has been widely applied in classification of treatment subtypes using expression patterns of biomarkers. We developed a statistical procedure to identify expression biomarkers for treatment subtype classification by constructing an F-statistic based on Henderson method Ⅲ. Monte Carlo simulations were conducted to examine the robustness and efficiency of the proposed method. Simulation results showed that our method could provide satisfying power of identifying differentially expressed genes (DEGs) with false discovery rate (FDR) lower than the given type I error rate. In addition, we analyzed a leukemia dataset collected from 38 leukemia patients with 27 samples diagnosed as acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and 11 samples as acute myeloid leukemia (AML). We compared our results with those from the methods of significance analysis of microarray (SAM) and microarray analysis of variance (MAANOVA). Among these three methods, only expression biomarkers identified by our method can precisely identify the three human acute leukemia subtypes. 展开更多

As the increasing demand for mobile communications and the shrinking of the coverage of cells, handover mechanism will play an important role in future wireless networks to provide users with seamless mobile communication services. In order to guarantee the user experience, the handover decision should be made timely and reasonably. To achieve this goal, this paper presents a hybrid handover forecasting mechanism, which contains long-term and short-term forecasting models. The proposed mechanism could cooperate with the standard mechanisms, and improve the performance of standard handover decision mechanisms. Since most of the parameters involved are imprecise, fuzzy forecasting model is applied for dealing with predictions of them. The numerical results indicate that the mechanism could significantly decrease the rate of ping-pong handover and the rate of handover failure. 展开更多

Most scheduling problems are modeled using either state-task-network or resource-task-network(RTN) process representation. In this paper, an improved mixed integer linear programming model for short-term schedul-ing of multipurpose batch plants under maximization of profit is proposed based on RTN representation and unit-specific events. To solve the model, a hybrid algorithm based on line-up competition algorithm and linear programming is presented. The proposed model and hybrid algorithm are applied to two benchmark examples in literature. The simulation results show that the proposed model and hybrid algorithm are effective for short-term scheduling of multipurpose batch plants. 展开更多

The main aim of this paper was to calculate soil organic carbon stock(SOCS) with consideration of the pedogenetic horizons using expert knowledge and GIS-based methods in northeastern China.A novel prediction process was presented and was referred to as model-then-calculate with respect to the variable thicknesses of soil horizons(MCV).The model-then-calculate with fixed-thickness(MCF),soil profile statistics(SPS),pedological professional knowledge-based(PKB) and vegetation type-based(Veg) methods were carried out for comparison.With respect to the similar pedological information,nine common layers from topsoil to bedrock were grouped in the MCV.Validation results suggested that the MCV method generated better performance than the other methods considered.For the comparison of polygon based approaches,the Veg method generated better accuracy than both SPS and PKB,as limited soil data were incorporated.Additional prediction of the pedogenetic horizons within MCV benefitted the regional SOCS estimation and provided information for future soil classification and understanding of soil functions.The intermediate product,that is,horizon thickness maps were fluctuant enough and reflected many details in space.The linear mixed model indicated that mean annual air temperature(MAAT) was the most important predictor for the SOCS simulation.The minimal residual of the linear mixed models was achieved in the vegetation type-based model,whereas the maximal residual was fitted in the soil type-based model.About 95% of SOCS could be found in Argosols,Cambosols and Isohumosols.The largest SOCS was found in the croplands with vegetation of Triticum aestivum L.,Sorghum bicolor(L.) Moench,Glycine max(L.) Merr.,Zea mays L.and Setaria italica(L.) P.Beauv. 展开更多

This equation is investigated with the use of the method of polynomial quasisolutions based on the representation of an unknown function in the form of polynomial x(t) = ∑n=0^N xn^tn. As a result of substitution of this function into equation (*), there appears a residual △(t) = 0(t^N), for which an exact analytical representation has been obtained.
