This pump, configured with inducer, complex-centrifugal impeller and open-vortex impeller, was put forward to deliver gas-liquid two-phase mixture. An HTB-5/60 type sample pump was developed and tested on a closed-loop test rig. Experimental studies on performance and cavitation tests for gas-liquid two-phase mixture were carried out compared with pure-water experimental results. Also the effect of gas phase on pump was analyzed and discussed. The experimental results show that performance and cavitation characteristics of the sample purnp deteriorates progressively with increasing volume fraction of gas. When the total capacity Qm is between 4.5 m^3·h^-1 and 6 m^3·h^-1 and the gas flow rate qg below 0.66 m^3·h^-1, or qg/Qm is lower than 15%, the characteristic curves are approximately parallel to those in pure water test, but the performance deteriorates sharply until an abrupt flow-cutting at a critical volume fraction of gas. This pump is found suitable for transporting gas-liquid two-phase mixture when working around rated capacity of 5 m^3·h^-1 with qglQm below 15%.展开更多

Using the inverted pair potential energies, the Chap- man-Enskog version of the kinetic theory was applied to calculate transport properties, except thermal conductivity of mixtures. The calculation of thermal conductivity through the methods of Schreiber et al. and Uribe et al. was discussed. Calculations were performed over a wide temperature range and equimolar composition. Rather accurate correlations for the viscosity coefficients of the mixtures in the temperature range were reproduced from the pre- sent unlike intermolecular potential energies. Our estimated accuracies for the viscosity are within ±2%. Acceptable agreement between the predicted values of the viscosity and thermal conductivity with the literature values demon- strates the predictive power of the inversion scheme. In the case of thermal conductivity our results are in favor of the preference of Uribe et al.'s method over Schreiber et al.'s scheme.展开更多

Its solution enable obtain independent individual energy source in different work exploitations. One of problems concerned with alternative energy source is changes of output voltages and output power dependence of climatic conditions. Possible solution is application of decoupled adjustable speed generation system in renewable energy generation. The decoupled generation system consists of: alternative energy source, internal combustion engine drives permanent magnet generator and DC/AC, or AC/AC converter. Performance of single decoupled generation set is discussed supported by results of laboratory tests. To provide high quality voltage is applied an additional energy storage, made from super capacitor and bidirectional DC/DC convert. Such system performs very stiff voltage in any load condition. Integration of solar battery panels or renewable wind energy system is provided via DC link of the variable speed decoupled autonomous generation system. Results of computer simulation and laboratory experiments are presented in the paper.展开更多
