The vacuum system of the beam-line is mainly made up of the vacuum chambers, vacuum pipes, bellows, ion pumps and valves etc. After the upgrade, most of the old vacuum devices will be reused except that a few is new. These old vacuum devices consist of 21 chambers, 22 pipes, 21 bellows, 31 ion pumps and 28 valves. The total surface area cf the old vacuum chambers and pipes is about 1.2×10-6 cm2.
