A total of 27 cases of pseudocondyloma of vulva and 65 cases of condyloma acuminata were selected for the study. The genital lesions were examined clinically and were biopsied. Each biopsy was subjected to histological examination and HPV DNA analysis by dot blot hybridization and PCR. Dot blot analysis detected HPV DNA in 19(82. 6%) out of 23 cases of condyloma acuminata and 2(25% ) out of 8 cases pseudocondyloma of vulvae (P<0. 05). PCR detected HPV DNA in 51 (92. 7%) out of 55 cases of condyloma acuminata , compared with none in 23 cases of pseudocondyloma (P<0.001 ). HPV DNA was present in the majority of condyloma acuminata specimens. HPV 6 and 11 were the predominant types. Peudocondyloma is probably not associated with HPV. PCR was the most sensitive and useful technique for HPV DNA detection.展开更多

The diagnostic results show that the positive MPV anomaly region, which is obtained by integrating the MPV from 600 hPa to 300 hPa in the vertical, roughly coincides with the precipitation at their synchronous stages either in position or in the distribution pattem, and the maximum positive MPV area of Dan is located mainly between 600 hPa and 300 hPa, which is much higher than torrential rain cases. Further analyses also showed that the value of positive MPV anomaly increased or decreased with the development of Dan, and the positive MPV anomaly may also be served as a tracer to indicate the evolution of tropical cyclone intensity.展开更多

As we have been fortunately guided by him in medical practice we would like to share with readers his experience in treatment of eczema as follows:Analyses of PathogenesisProf. Zhang holds that eczema is often caused by both endogenic and exogenic pathogens conflicting in skin and muscles: endogenic factors refer to improper diet or over-intake of irritative foods which may hurt the spleen and stomach, resulting in dysfunction of the spleen in transport and, as a result, leading to the accumulation of dampness-heat in the body; and exogenic factors refer to the invasion of exogenic pathogenic wind, dampness and heat. Moreover, a prolonged course of the illness may exhaust yin and blood and, consequently, turn pathogenic dryness factor into wind-evil. In the case of children, it is mostly caused by pathogenic heat stagnating in the gastrointestinal region due to weak congenital resistance and improper diet.展开更多
