(Ru-biaceae) is a medicinal herbwidely distributed in northeast Asian countries. In traditional Chinese medicine, it has the effectof 'clearing away heat and toxic material, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis'.It is a well known Chinese folk-medicine used for the treatment of appendicitis, sore throat, mumps,acne, sebo-rheic dermatitis and various kinds of tumors, such as tumors of digestive tract,carcinoma of liver. It was reported that the MeOH extract of H. diffusa demonstrated a significantantitumor activity and ursolic acid succeeded in being isolated from the MeOH extract as an activecomponent . Shan BN, et al suggested that the direct aqueous extract of H. diffusa hadimmuno-modulating activity and antitumor activity in vitro through stimulating the immune system tokill or engulf tumor cells. But regarding anti-tumor activity in vivo of water soluble extracts fromH. diffusa, no detail was reported. Therefore, we prepared water soluble extracts (H_1 and H_2)from H. diffusa and evaluated their anti-tumor property in vivo experiments as well as protectiveeffect on chemo-therapeutic damage. 展开更多

With a fluorescent Hg lamp or sunlight as irradiator, the degradation experiments of various water soluble dyes were carried out in the suspension system of LaCoO 3 . The results show that the pervoskite type oxide LaCoO 3 has good photocatalytic activity.Studied by X ray photoelectron spectroscopy and photoacoustic spectra, its photocatalytic activity is found to be related with factors such as the d electron structure of ion Co 3+ ,Co—O binding energy and adsorbed oxygen on the surface etc. 展开更多

[Result] Except Higuchi model and Logistic model, other models could fit BSA release profile better. [Conclusion] Gompertz two-order kinetics model could fit the release of WSC nano-particles better and model parameters had practical physical meaning. 展开更多

In order to study the effects of nitrogen fertilizer application methods and nitrogen fertilizer regulation with straw-return on wheat yield and potassium forms in the soil, field experiment was arranged in Pinyuan County, and the effects of the regulation of different ratios of basal to topdressed nitrogen on the yield of wheat and the contents of different forms of potassium in the soil were studied. The re- sults indicated that in the condition of straw-return, the yield of wheat was the high- est after the treatments of the ratios of basal to topdressed nitrogen of 7:3 and 6:4. As to the contents of different forms of potassium, the contents of water-soluble potassium, exchangeable potassium and total potassium treated by the ratios of basal to topdressed nitrogen of 7:3 and 6:4 were the highest, and the differences of non-exchangeable potassium among all treatments were not significant. Under the experiment condition, the ratios of basal to topdressed nitrogen of 7:3 and 6:4 were the best treatments, they can increase the wheat yield and the contents of available potassium and total potassium in the soil. 展开更多

The Nd-doped TiO2 thin films with higher hydrophilic and photocatalytic activities were prepared on glass slides by an acid-catalyzed sol?gel method. The effects of Nd doping on crystalline phase, surface composition and optical property were investigated by means of techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), optical contact angle tester and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The results show that Nd doping obviously influences the hydrophilic and photocatalytic activities of TiO2thin films. Nd doping could cause the TiO2 lattice distortion, inhibit phase transition from anatase to rutile, cause red shift of the absorption spectrum edge, produce hydroxyl radicals (·OH), and accelerate surface hydroxylation, which result in a significant improvement in the hydrophilicity and photoreactivity of Nd-doped TiO2 thin films. When the content of Nd is 0.1% (mass fraction), TiO2 thin films achieve the smallest grain size (about 15 nm), and the hydrophilic and photocatalytic activities of TiO2 thin film reach the maximum, the contact angle is only 8.1°, and 92% of methylene blue is finally degraded. Methods The influences of temperature and pHon the stability of baicalin aqueous solution were investigated by classic homoiothermicacceleration test, and the pH for the most stable solution was determined. Results The time whenbaicalin suffered 10% loss was found to be 18.1 h, and the degradation activation energy of baicalinwas 79.1 kJ·moL^(-1) . The pH at which baicalin is most stable is 4.28. Conclusion The temperatureshould be kept at a lower level and the pH should be adjusted to near that for the most stablesolution in the production of baicalin preparations. 展开更多

Titania films with nano-sized pores were prepared on the NaOH?HCl pretreated NiTi alloy substrate by sol?gel method.A crack-free film is obtained for the sample with a dense inner layer and a porous outside layer(sample TC1+1).The X-ray diffraction shows that the titania films are composed of anatase,and a little Ni4Ti3 phase in the heat treated substrate is also detected.The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results indicate that the titania film completely covered the NiTi substrate for sample TC1+1.The sample TC1+1 is hydrophilic with a contact angle about 20°,and UV illumination treatment for 15 min further decreases the contact angle to(9.2±3.2)°.The potentiodynamic polarization test in 0.9% NaCl solution reveals a better corrosion resistance of sample TC1+1 than the polished NiTi sample. 展开更多

[Objective] The aim was to explore the relationship between alage-lysing bacterium and Anabaena flosaquae so as to provide reference for the control of bloom. [Method] An algae-lysing bacterium strain named S7 was isolated from eu- trophic river. The lyric efficiency and performing mode of S7 strain to Anabaena flos- aquae was studied. Influence of different environmental factors and the relationship between S7 strain and Anabaena flosaquae was also studied, and then the bacteri- um strain was physiologically identified. [Result] More than 90% of Anabaena flos- aquae had been removed by 7 d when the volume ratio of medium to algae solu- tion was 30%, the pH was 9 and the temperature was 35 ℃. These results also showed that a mutual inhibit relationship existed between S7 strain and Anabaena flos-aquae. The S7 strain killed the algae by indirectly through certain lyric agents in absence of direct contact with the target but by secreting metabolites. Moreover, these lyric agents also had the thermostability. 16SrDNA sequence analysis showed that S7 strain belonged to Chryseobacterium sp. [Conclusion] The examined Poly-p proved that S7 strain is polyphosphate accumulating bacteria (PAOs) and has better lyric efficiency. 展开更多

[Resultl (1) Fiber was the most important factor to estimate the ADE of plant protein supplement in pigs, and ADF was the best one. Ta-containing TiO2 films with Ta contents of 5%, 20%, 33% (mole fraction) were sol-gel coated on the surface roughened Ti6AI4V alloy by dip coating method for biomedical applications. The Ta-TiO2 films on 1.5 mol/L NaOH-HCI pretreated substrate are adherent, but there are cracks for the sample with 33% Ta. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results show that Ti and Ta exist as TiP2 and Ta205 in the film, and A1 element is not detectable. X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering analyses reveal that the addition of Ta decreases crystallization of the films. Potentiodynamic polarization test in a Ca-free Hank's balanced solution demonstrates that the coating samples markedly improve the corrosion resistance compared with the polished sample. The addition of Ta impedes UV light-induced hydrophilic conversion of the coating samples. The sample with 20% Ta has enough film integrity and hydrophilic conversion rate, and is expected to possess good biological properties. 展开更多

The presence of a thatch layer in established pastures could reduce the contact between broiler litter and soil, thus increasing the potential for surface runoff contamination with litter P. We conducted a laboratory study to evaluate the effect of a thatch layer on the dynamics of water-soluble P in undisturbed cores taken from a pasture. Cores with and without a thatch layer received a surface application of broiler litter (5 thm-2) and were incubated at 25 oC for 56 d. The result showed that on the soil surface the contents of water soluble-P (39 kghm-2) of the cores with the thatch layer was higher than that (20 kghm-2) of the cores without the thatch layer. Therefore on well-established pastures fertilized with broiler litter, the presence of a thatch layer might lead to high concentrations of water-soluble P on the soil surface. 展开更多
