Six input parameters, time, solid ...The effects of cyanidation conditions on gold dissolution were studied by artificial neural network (ANN) modeling. Eighty-five datasets were used to estimate the gold dissolution. Six input parameters, time, solid percentage, P50 of particle, NaCN content in cyanide media, temperature of solution and pH value were used. For selecting the best model, the outputs of models were compared with measured data. A fourth-layer ANN is found to be optimum with architecture of twenty, fifteen, ten and five neurons in the first, second, third and fourth hidden layers, respectively, and one neuron in output layer. The results of artificial neural network show that the square correlation coefficients (R2) of training, testing and validating data achieve 0.999 1, 0.996 4 and 0.9981, respectively. Sensitivity analysis shows that the highest and lowest effects on the gold dissolution rise from time and pH, respectively It is verified that the predicted values of ANN coincide well with the experimental results.展开更多
The effects of solvent and impurity on the crystal habit of 11α-hydroxy-16α,17α-epoxyprogesterone (HEP)grown from solution were studied by scanning electron microscope.Long prismatic crystals were produced when HEP...The effects of solvent and impurity on the crystal habit of 11α-hydroxy-16α,17α-epoxyprogesterone (HEP)grown from solution were studied by scanning electron microscope.Long prismatic crystals were produced when HEP was crystallized from pure acetone and N,N-dimethylformamide,while blocky crystals were produced from pure chloroform by cooling crystallization.One kind of isomorphic impurity,16α,17α-epoxyprogesterone(EP) was selected to examine its effect on the HEP crystal habit.When the content of EP in the mother liquor is very high(55.45%,solvent free basis),the habit of produced HEP crystals was greatly modified from prismatic to octa-hedral.The differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray powder diffraction analyses showed that the change of crystal habit was originated from the crystal structure modification.展开更多

This paper presents a continuous apparatus to conduct experiment of SAS process. With the apparatus, the effects of pressure, temperature and flow ratio of CO2 to the solution on the shape and size of particles are studied for the quercetin-ethanol-CO2 system. Spherical quercetin microparticles with diameters ranging form 1 μm to 6μm can be obtained while ethanol is used as organic solvent. The most effective fact on the shape and size of particles is pressure, the next is temperature and the last is the flow ratio of CO2 to solution.展开更多
It is here reported for the first time that luteal cells are capable of secreting plasminogen activators(PA),(both tissue-type,tPA,and urokinase-type,uPA),and plasminogen activator inhibitor type-1(PAl-1).Using organ ...It is here reported for the first time that luteal cells are capable of secreting plasminogen activators(PA),(both tissue-type,tPA,and urokinase-type,uPA),and plasminogen activator inhibitor type-1(PAl-1).Using organ culture model,we have demonstrated that tPA,but not uPA,showed markedchange during luteolytic period in rat corpus luteum.A great amount oftPA was secreted in corpusluteum on D 14 and D 17 while very low level of tPA activity was detected before D 12.Correspondingly,the progesterone production in the corpus luteum increased gradually in a time-dependent manner from D 1 to D 12 but dropped abruptly to a very low level on D 14.Additionof exogenous tPA to the CL culture caused considerable decrease in progesterone secretion whileinclusion of purified monoclone tPA antibodies in the culture augmented progesterone productionof CL.It is therefore suggested that tPA may play an important role in luteolytic process.展开更多
We evaluated the immune response to infection with a pathogen in large yellow croaker(Pseudosciaena crocea Richardson).The fish were given an intraperitoneal(i.p.) injection of Vibrio parahaemolyticus or sterile sea w...We evaluated the immune response to infection with a pathogen in large yellow croaker(Pseudosciaena crocea Richardson).The fish were given an intraperitoneal(i.p.) injection of Vibrio parahaemolyticus or sterile sea water(control).We collected blood sera from the fish 0.17,1,2,4,8,12,or 16 d after injection(dpi).We measured tyrosinase activity and the concentrations of lysozyme,NOS,and antibodies.Serum tyrosinase activity was significantly higher at 0.17 and 4 dpi than in the control group,and peaked at 8 dpi.Lysozyme activity was significantly higher at 2 and 12 dpi than in the control group,but lower at 16 dpi.There is no statistical difference in the level of nitric oxides synthase(NOS) activity or antibodies between the control and injection groups.This is the first report of the tyrosinase activity in the serum of large yellow croaker.Our results indicate that tyrosinase plays an important role in the immediate immune defense against V.parahaemolyticus in large yellow croaker.Tyrosinase is a candidate parameter for investigation of fish innate immune defense.展开更多
